Located inside Queens Crossing Mall, good amount of seating and open kitchen. It's one of the vendors amongst other food vendors where the food court is. You order at the kiosk, I got the shoyu ramen. When I went, it was just 2 guys that work in the kitchen no one in the front. I saw one customer eating. The order went through the kitchen but the 2 guys weren't paying attention and continued to play on their phones for at least a good 5+ minute after I had sat down already just waiting for one of them to look at the order. After an unreasonable amount of time, one of the guys finally picked up the kitchen ticket and started on the ramen. After it was done he put it on the counter...and then proceeded to move the tip jar in front of me JIC. Taste. You get one very thin slice of meat, but it tasted better than it looked. The noodles are thick, different from your usual ramen spot but it really clings onto the broth. I think it was a solid bowl of ramen but I felt it was super salty, highly concentrated. Midway through, the kitchen guy gives me a can of Kungfu Tea green tea and said it's complimentary. The tea really helped with the saltiness. Overall, it's a good bowl of food court ramen but nothing spectacular. I saw another customer get a special combo meal, which has the ramen, fried chicken from the vendor next to this and a drink from Kungfu Tea also next to this place.

I'm not sure why but I always come to this food hall expecting more options and always have to settle for something I probably wasn't in the mood for. Case in point. I was drawn in because of the sign that said soft-opening (but I now see that this place has probably been open for longer than I realized). We grabbed the Samurai special and a second dish. The special comes with a noodle dish, a drink from Kung-Fu Tea next door, and two pieces of fried chicken from TKK Fried chicken on the other side. The fried chicken was fine-two pieces fairly salty but nicely moist with a nice crunch on the outside. For noodles, we got one shoyu ramen and one miso tsukemen . The ramen was really fine, certainly better ramen options nearby. Meat could have been prepared a little better. And I don't totally know why there is an egg in the tsukemen but not the ramen (which seems like a mistake). Usually would drink the broth more but it was just too salty to do so. But if I thought the ramen was salty, I could not believe how salty the tsukemen was. I'm typically a fan of dishes like this on the saltier side but this was almost unbearable and even burned somewhat. The minced meat was almost an afterthought because I just kept focusing on the flavoring. One thing I will say, though, is that I felt like the noodles were prepared nicely and were plentiful. But this could not save the dinner overall.

Ambiance (4/5): It is a classic Japanese vibe of sitting at the bar countertop and watch as the chef prepares your food. In this case, it was a high schooler following instructions posted on the kitchen wall... Stools do not have a backing so you can't get too comfortable. Service (N/A): You order via a QR code assigned to your seat #. The 1 manned kitchen was servicing 3 guests during his shift and would have struggled to keep up if there were more. However, when asked for additional requests (napkins, to-go containers, etc), he was very quick to help me. Server also gave me a FREE Kung Fu Tea green tea can!! [Only later did I realize that you can get one free for writing a review... but I did not know this until after I visited so he gave it to me for free slash without writing a review] Tsukemen Shoyu Ramen (5/5): Typical that tsukemen broth can be a bit more salty than your standard bowl of ramen, which it was. Broth was full of flavor, depth, but also a smidge too salty. I found it nice that you can order the noodle temperature to be customized as it is typically consumed (cold) or warm (to your preference). There was plenty in portion size for the price point and comes with minced pork, and a half seasoned boiled egg! I added an order of $4 charshu since the meal did not come with it. The meat is a good mix of fat to meat, charred/smokey taste. The noodles were chewy and similar to that of lo mein, which I enjoyed because of the bounce and how easy to was to dip into the ramen to soak up the flavors. The bowl came with a variety in toppings. All around great in taste, price, and quality! Public bathroom located inside the ground floor just outside the food court.

This place is inside Queens Crossing Mall. The food is made to order. I got the shoyu tsukemen. The broth was pretty good along with the egg and cha siu. The only complaint I really have is the noodles started sticking together as the noodles cooled down. A very filling and good meal overall.

A great spot for some delicious ramen on a cold day! Stopped by for lunch yesterday and got the spicy shoyu ramen and it hit the spot while it was raining outside. Service was quick and you can order when you sit at the counter or at one of the self-service kiosks. My ramen came out piping hot and it was delicious. It was spicy and had a great soy sauce flavor. The noodles were chewy and had a good bounce to them while also clinging to the broth well. The bowl also came with bamboo shoots, green onion, and a big piece of chashu. I would recommend ordering it if you didn't want something as rich as the miso ramen or too light like the shio ramen. The ambience was overall chill and the staff were great to talk to. There's a decent amount of seating at the counter for larger groups and you can also take your ramen to go if you want. I recommend coming to this spot if you want some authentic, delicious ramen!

Ultra FANTASTIC REAL JAPANESE RAMEN--the kind with DIPPING NOODLES; they are served on a separate plate. You dip those noodles into your broth. I had my noodles cold, since the broth was steaming hot. Excellent!! Flavorful!! Yes, YES, YOU NEED TO TRY THIS RAMEN. :) If you don't want dipping noodles, you can still enjoy the ramen with noodles in the bowl. Owner/Chef Steve spent a month in Japan studying ramen. The chewy, dipping noodles are his recipe. These noodles are thicker than the noodles many of us are used to. They are wonderfully chewy and delicious. I never had dipping noodles before! And that broth was out of this world delicious! It had vegetables too, and half a soft boiled egg. Totally great!! I ordered the dipping noodles ramen with miso broth, which has vegetables and pork in it. Chef Steve cooks this very FLAVORFUL BROTH for at least 10 hours. And that's why we get to enjoy one of the most flavorful broths you have ever experienced. When ordering ramen, you can get $1 off a small plate dish, so I had to try the Karaage (fried chicken). Very nice. I couldn't finish all the chicken because I did not want to stop eating the outrageously, delicious miso Ramen. My meal came with a free can of sweetened green tea. It was fine. A nice cold green tea. Not sweet, but just right. The staff here is very nice. They enjoy the food and drinks are happy to tell you about it. A good team! See my photos, and meet Steve, James, Ventura and Byron. EASY TO GET TO FROM MANHATTAN- You can take the SUBWAY #7 train to FLUSHING-MAIN STREET, OR LIRR. I took the LIRR, from Grand Central Station. You can also take the LIRR from Penn Station/34th Street, to Flushing-Main Street. It's only about a 20 min ride. Then, it's only a few blocks to QUEENS CROSSING building Food Court. You can quickly enter if you walk around to see the municipal parking area, and the entrance is nearby. I posted a photo of this entrance with a caption 'the municipal parking lot is behind me'. There was a fruit stand near the LIRR entrance in Flushing, and I bought some Rambuten fruit for only a few dollars. I paid more at my local Trader Joe's !! There is also a Macy's about a block from the Food Court. A fun day!! Or a fun few hours!

Shoyu tsukemen with honey green tea. Wings not pictured
    Dana H.

I got the samurai combo which comes with your choice of tsukemen, 2 wings from tkk and kftea honey green tea. It was delicious!! They chewy texture of the noodles and the flavorful broth paired so well together. The fried chicken was piping hot and the not so sweet green tea rounded the meal off well. I'm so glad I came here for lunch! I absolutely loved their noodles, and regretted not doing kaedama after the 1st bite. After finishing off the noodles, you can also ask for extra broth to mix in your dipping broth. The dipping broth without extra broth at the end is quite salty, so I recommend asking them for extra broth at the end.

    Spicy shoyu ramen

I've been to Yasubee a few times now, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots for ramen. The broth here is the real star--savory, deep, and packed with umami. I've tried the pork spicy shoyu ramen and the spicy miso ramen, both of which deliver that rich, balanced flavor I keep coming back for. The portions are filling, and the broth has that ideal balance of saltiness and spice, which I think even outshines the noodles themselves. For me, the broth is what makes this place worth revisiting. Service has been generally good, with friendly, helpful staff on my first couple of visits. On my third visit, only one person was working, so things were slower, but it's understandable given the food court setting. If you're looking for authentic Japanese ramen with an outstanding broth, Yasubee is a spot worth checking out.

    Alan L.

As much as I'm a noodle soup addict, I've never had dip ramen before. Yasubee was the option because I was parked closest to it without having to travel far in the rigid cold. It's inside the mall between Kung Fu Tea and a fried chicken stall. Self seating and you order via mobile app. Got myself the spicy miso signature dip ramen with extra noodles. Flavor was nice. Noodle texture was thick. Food came out relative fast. Nothing wrong with it but I kind of was expecting more. Definitely warmed me up.

yasubeeramen originating from Japan and recently expanding to Flushing, NY , offers a delightful culinary experience. Located inside the Queens Crossing Mall across from KungFu Tea, this fast-casual gem introduces New Yorkers to the rich tradition of Yasubee's Tsukemen and Ramen. With a legacy spanning over 70 years and thriving in 80 locations across Japan, Yasubee Ramen has quickly become a local favorite since its Flushing debut last year. We tried their Miso Tsukemen , a standout dish featuring a tantalizing Miso dipping broth complemented by minced pork , menma, negi, eggs, cabbage, carrots and leeks. The noodles, served separately, boasts the perfect springiness, enhancing the overall texture of the dish . The broth , bursting with flavor , showcases Yasubee's commitment to authentic taste. Beyond their signature Tsukemen and Ramen, they offers an array of small bites too. We ordered the vegi Onigiri , dumplings, chilled Tofu and we really enjoyed all of them. In summary, Yasubee Ramen is a must visit spot for those seeking an authentic and flavorful ramen experience.

Onigiri (rice ball): char siu and vegetable
    A.J. H.

The Onigiri (rice balls) are a good choice for a snack or light meal. And if you're really hungry, the Samurai Special with ramen/tsukemen (dipping noodles, hot or cold), fried chicken wings, and honey tea is an excellent value! Ramen for cold winter days; cold tsukemen for hot summer days is my recommendation.

They were amazing the food was also really good!!! Jeffrey and other staff was really nice. Ventura was such a nice guy he helped me and my friend with the menu and explained everything to us. He even told us about the free side we could get which was the korokke. The ambiance here was amazing everyone was very nice and even took our plates after we finished. 10/10 would recommend!!

Great place for a food court spot. Very simple menu. Easy to make a decision. Really enjoyed eating Tsukemen and Ramen. The Miso and Shoyu base soups were both delicious. The ramen noodles stayed very bouncy and chewy until I finished the whole bowl. All the small plates were well priced and yummy. Will definitely visit again if I'm in Flushing.

We are very familiar with the area and must have walked passed this neatly tucked away gem without ever noticing it. Our son had mentioned that he and his friends have been going to a sushi place near Asian Jewel, our former dim sum go to place. When we sat down to order, my wife and I were quite impressed by how clean and cozy the restaurant was. Kind of on the small side with a few tables on the ground floor level. The menu offered cooked food as well as fresh sushi. We decided to start with the sushi & sashimi combo. They also offered a sushi or sashimi a la carte menu where you can choose to order by the piece. I believe that if you choose one of their standard menu sushi or sashimi orders and pay with cash, the a la carte price per piece of sushi / sashimi is only $1.35 / piece! Well we were famished and in addition to the sushi & sashimi plate we ordered two rounds of sushi & sashimi a la carte. Their salmon and yellow tail was so fresh and so scrumptious as was the sweet shrimp. The tuna was also very yummy and did not disappoint! When all was said and done we were quite happy with our experience with Yoi Sushi Japanese. I highly recommend Yoi if you're anywhere near Tangram Mall or Asian Jewel and have a hankering for yummy sushi. They also offer cooked food as well as ramen bowls.

Here's the quirky bit: in addition to the price of the ramen, you will be temporarily charged an extra $5 as a deposit for the bowl. The actual space is pretty nice and gives a family restaurant in a good way. It was a little awkward with the waitresses, who seemed to be on the quieter side, but nonetheless, they were kind. I got the abalone in the ponzu sauce ($8) and the wagyu beef sukiyaki lunch set ($21). The abalone was actually really good, and as my first time trying something like that, it was well worth it. The wagyu set was also pretty filling and very much worth the price. It came with a salad, an egg soufflé, sliced lotus root, pickled ginger, and rice. The actual sukiyaki was light and slightly sweet, but refreshing. I love that they packed it with vegetables in the sukiyaki. They even give you a complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal. The only thing that docked a point for me was that one other table, and I was the only one present at the restaurant, and there were two waitresses, and I believe another man was working, not too sure what his role was. All three of them would continuously check up on the other table, whereas I would have to flag them down if I needed anything.
