48 beers on tap but don't ever drop in for just one drink. They don't like you unless you buy at least two mixed drinks or three beers. Not that I was even allowed to buy dinner with the drink. Waitress dropped off menu and then ignored us for 30 mins. There is no 'minimum' cover charge, but they refuse to take your credit card unless you spend more than $10. Absolutely refuse. The manager might be surprised to find out that this behaviour is a violation of their AMX, VISA and MC merchant agreements. read more

This place is really cool. The people who work her are all awesome. We had been here before for karaoke night and it was fun. But tonight we thought we'd try the menu. The fish & chips and the grouper sandwich are awesome. I think they have better F&Cs then pubs in England. The service was amazing. Jennifer is a gem. Worst owner ever. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the bartender was a sweetheart. When I got my skunked beer and kindly asked for a new one I was approached by the owner who pretty much told me I was crazy that his "pristine" beer doesn't taste bad. He told me I need to pay full price for his terrible beer and the new one that the bartender poured, which I never asked to get for free in the first place. He wanted to make it clear that it was our problem not his that the beer tasted bad. I've literally never reviewed anyone on yelp but this guy is the worst and must have missed the memo on treating your customers right. Oh and the beer was $8 so he's making over 200% on his keg for his terrible beer. The bartender paid for the beer because she felt so bad so we tipped her the difference but the fact that someone had the audacity to say our "taste buds are off" goes to show that maybe this guy is in the wrong business and should find a job where he interacts with computers instead of people. I will buy my next $8 beer in Miami and hopefully get a fresh one! read more

I've been twice so far. Food isn't bad for bar food, the wings are actually really good. Weird crowd, so I guess I fit right in. You have the young and rowdy, the classy and chic, college students from Nova, country folks, goth kids, older business guys, etc. It's right down the street from my house and stays open fairly late. Altogether a good local bar. A bit dark inside and sort of shady looking. It's one of those places that at first glance you want to get back in your car and leave. I'm glad I gave it a chance. This place seemed okay when my friends and I came in for some late night drinks. Atmosphere felt so college like outside and then inside more like a chill dive bar. Nothing fancy just very dark and cold. We sat at the bar and was immediately helped by a bartender. I wanted vodka tonic so the bartender said she had specials for the Smirnoff, $4.50 singles and $6 for doubles. My friend and I got single tall vodka tonics. Well let's just fast forward or this review would be too long. I got my bill which I had only two vodka tonics single tall and split some loaded potatoes. Came out to $18??? I asked for the itemized check just to see what I was charged. So $11 for two vodka tonics, $1 for tonic, and $4.50 for my food split. Seriously they charged for tonic? Then I get charged more than what was said. After that I was like whatever, I paid, tipped 20% and I'm never coming back. I'm in hospitality and never in my life I was charged for a mixer or the wrong price when a bar staff mentions it. I'm not cheap, just saying get it together. read more

We go there often and have always gone on St Patty's day for at least the past 10 years. They lost us and our friends when they charged $24 for a pitcher of beer that is normally $9.00 and up to $30 for other pitchers for this years St. Patrick's Day event. I see no justification for this price gouge ! We could have gone to Wing House or quarter deck for that matter as they don't up charge for St Patty's day ( they had specials). This rating is specific to this past event and does not reflect the great service we get when we waltz in on a regular day, nor does it reflect the specials they do run. And while we understand that there will be some increase in prices for events, this was an outrageous amount which really put a damper on an otherwise normally great night. read more

The food isn't amazing, but it's definitely not bad. And the service is good but really depends on who you get. Was driving by, looked once... Twice... Decided to keep driving by... Then I changed my mind, turned around and thought what the heck. So glad I did-- Who would have known the chillest bar in ft Lauderdale was waiting inside!? A true English public house with eclectic decor, eclectic jukebox selections, and eclectic (if not eccentric!) Staff. Upon entering and approaching the bar, I was greeted by Suzy with a such a warm hospitable smile, I initially thought she must have confused me with someone who comes regularly and tips 500%. Turns out she is just a very sweet person, who understands what it means to be in hospitality. Yes, we are talking about a bar in South Florida (I know right?). Throughout the course of a few Smithwicks, I encountered the other members of this charming cabal of drink-slingers, including Mandarin and Lori (forgive spelling mistakes, as no one ever loved me for my brains). Lori had me in stitches with her boisterously-crass humor (and music acumen!), and Mandarin had me spellbound with her charmingly-domineering presence and contagious positive energy. Turns out the patrons are just as cool-- a mishmash of demographics noticeably lacking in pretentiousness and selfie-takers. If you like ditzy broads, "country hip-hop" (whatever that is) and fraternity-style cucumber dancing, you are probably better off in Himarshee-- but if you like having a good drink in the company of good people (and have a penchant for jukebox battles)-- I humbly suggest the Ye Olde Falcon for your next outing advenure. The food is below average in quality. I ordered a fountain soda and was informed LATER that refills were about $3.00 each. The guy proceeds to go off on a speech about how he is going to be a lawyer, he just took the LSAT, his lobes can't go past 00g (they are at 0g), blah blah blah. Shut the fuck up, man! You're not going to be a lawyer, dick. If you just took the LSAT, you're going to be a law school student. Second, don't be such a bitch and stretch the lobes if you really want to - be a maverick and blaze a trail. If you get shit for it, don't sweat it. Society at large is full of dipshits anyways. Later on, a guy and his female companion sit down a few stools away from us. I see the guy drinking a dark brownish beer that looked like Newcastle. Again, I decide to be nice and start a conversation so I ask the guy, "Is that Newcastle you're drinking?" His genius reply, "Nah. This is (? - I can't remember what he said). I only drink European beer." Okay you snooty fuck. Where the hell do you think Newcastle is from?! It's from England, Magellan! Service was mediocre at best. The prices were high. Cool place..kinda divey, went there the other night with a group of folks after a UYE, this was kinda the second UYE (dare I say BANG BANG UYE)..ok..I said it...we ended up here, had dinner, drinks and good times. I come to falcon pub with friends quite often because it is one of the few places open until 4am EVERY night. I've seen bartenders in & out of that place for years & I must say, Lori is by far the best. She knows how to make me laugh after a LONG night at work & she is always so chipper I love it. I have to agree with my fellow yelpers - this place really needs a half star. A solid four stars on food and drink. The kitchen is open till 4am, and they have killer fish n' chips. They also have Sea Dog Blueberry on tap (swoon). That said, the service is hit or miss, the brews are pricey, and my friends and I have gotten some poor pints on more than one occasion. We actually avoid Yuengling here, because it always seems to taste "off". Still, I have had some good times here, so I do think it's worth checking out, especially for the pub grub. read more

The four stars I am giving this place is strictly based on the huge selection of beer and the fact that they have Spaten Optimator on tap! I love the beer and the bartenders are friendly and have helped me in selecting different brews to try. Everybody on here is pretty on point with how loud the music is and crappy as well. Also there are some douchebags and tools that come in as a result of so many schools nearby. Same result with Magnum P.I. at the door starring at I.D.'s like he can decode them. We decided to check out the Falcon while driving past and stopped in for drinks after dinner. First impressions are lasting ones. We walked in and everyone was having a fun time and were fun to talk with. Then we met our bartender, now friend, Lori. She exemplifies what customer service should be in an area and industry that has forgotten what that means. Her demeanor, attention to detail and knowledge overwhelmingly impressed us. The drinks were just perfect, not strong and not weak - just perfect. She made us feel like regulars and VIPs and it was our first time there. Thank you Lori!!
