Once I saw the disruption affecting other patrons and people beginning to move away from the area I gave management a heads up because I believed the situation had reached the point where it needed to be professionally handled. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The situation continued to escalate until it eventually turned into one of the most humiliating experiences I've ever had in a business. I left feeling publicly ridiculed completely unsupported and most importantly UNSAFE as the disruptive person I warned them about, attacked me. Jason the bartender "manager" eventually became involved but from my perspective & anyone else who witnessed it, nothing about his response de-escalated the situation. If anything the environment became even MORE chaotic because of him. In a business built around hospitality and customer experience I expected leadership that knew how to calm a situation...NOT allow it to continue & also disrupt the tournament that was taking place... super unfair to the players & patrons in general who came to have a good time. The only people who showed me any sense of kindness or made me feel even remotely safe that night were Shay and Jared. I genuinely appreciated them. I waited 2 weeks before writing this because I wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt. It was a Friday night so there was a bit of a wait for a pool table. We had a bigger group of 10 and they were able to accommodate us with one table in the back with two couches by it since not all of us were planning to play. The inside is pretty clean and the server came to check on us constantly. We ordered some chicken tenders and fries and it hit the spot after line dancing all night a few doors down.
