At last, a good day and time for us to finally try Yeanie's! Me and my wife have been wanting to try their smash burger for so long. I don't have anything to compare the smashed burger to because this is my first time trying a restaurant quality smashed burger. I'm a little torn if I like smashed burgers or beefy burgers lol I must say though, their burgers are seasoned well. I'm sure it's just salt and pepper but it's enough! The edges had enough burnt edges. I did a double with Yeanie sauce. I'm going to give the burger a 8/10. I wish my burger had more onions. I also tried to loaded fries. It was a little overwhelming LOL there was alot going on including 2-3 different sauces including cheese. I'll give it a 7/10. A little more light on the sauce would be better but that's just my preference. I was told that the tenders were amazing. I ordered that for my son and he loved it. I agree, the tenders were pretty damn good. My wife tried the Nashville chicken sandwich . She rate it 7/10. The slaw inside the sandwich was amazing. The sauce itself was ok. She wish there was a little bit more of a kick to it. Overall, I would definitely come back to get their burgers. Just once in a while. Reasoning is, it's a bit expensive. You do pay for what you get and that is good quality dishes. But $13 for a burger that doesn't come with fries can be a little steep... Definitely come and give it a try!

Good for the neighborhood, but maybe not for a road trip. Yeanie's took over the spot of a pizza joint I grew up with, so they had big shoes to fill. As a Vietnamese and women-owned business, I'm an avid supporter of seeing more mom-and-pop shops on Dot Ave, and I really want to see them succeed. Honestly? If I lived right next door and had a craving, I'd stop by for a quick bite. But it's not a "destination" burger quite yet. The menu leans heavily on the word "crispy" (even emphasizing "cwispy" on the fries), but my experience was the opposite--the patties and fries were actually pretty soggy and the burger itself was drenched in way too much sauce. It's the ultimate hangover cure, but between the sogginess and the steep price tag, it's more of a "once in a while" indulgence than a new staple. It's got potential, but it could definitely be better. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is reminiscent of Johnny Rockets. Very family friendly.

Ok, I know Yeanie's is on the map for their burgers, but I have to say their chicken was really the star of the show. I much preferred the chicken sandwich to the burger (and maybe that's because I'm not the biggest fan of smash patty style), but I thought that that along with their crisp and fluffy fries topped with creamy sauce and tender chicken was the best stuff on the menu. Otherwise, the service was exceptional- fast a friendly- and the vibes had that excellent diner feel, somehow both old school and elevated modern. The yellow ambience makes the whole meal feel bright and desirable, perfect for a late night bite with friends or a midday snack. All the flavors were tasty as can be, high quality, and left me wanted to come back for more. I will definitely need to try their new breakfast sandwiches soon! This spot is a little trip out of Boston, but a fun adventure and definitely worth it!

Overall 3.5 stars. We ordered build your own burgers (double with chopped onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and yeanie sauce & double with same but + bacon), chocolate milkshake, Oreo milkshake, two sides of a fries, and two sides of sauce (habanero + yeanie's). My boyfriend and I have contradicting opinions on our meals so I'll give you both perspectives, but we can both agree on quick food, great service, and amazing crispy seasoned fries. Me: my burger was cooked well, super fresh NOT GREASY ingredients (I didn't get sick after which is a huge bonus). Yeanie sauce was super tasty but my burger was absolutely drenched in it and almost took away from the flavor of the rest of the toppings. My milkshake was decent- good taste but thin. Boyfriend: He loved the taste of his burger but it was slightly overcooked. He adored his chocolate milkshake- super thick and tasty. One thing that annoyed me was paying extra for sauce but the yeanie's sauce container was probably 1/3 full which was a rip off (pictured). Habanero sauce was OD spicy.. so if you like that do it! It's not something that I could see myself specifically craving but it was really nice to indulge without extra grease and to not get sick!

Over $10 bucks for the thinnest burger patty you've ever had. Could barely tell there was meat between all the topping and thick bread. The topping overpower it quite easily. If you're going to offer a burger with many toppings then they should compliment the burger not hide it. Ended up taking all the toppings off and was sad to see the burger still lacked any flavor. It also lacked the characteristic crispy edges that really good thin smash burgers usually have. Also I arrived right at 11 when they opened and couldn't help but notice very dirty floors and floor mats leaned against tables and seating, that they then laid out and did not wash off the tables.

Solid smashburgers in Dorchester. The chicken looked amazing and I will come back for that. Overall, there's a few choices of burgers and you can stack more than a single patty if you want. I did a double. There's a spicy burger option which is really good. Sauce is one of the best parts of this place. I didn't care for the fries myself, since I like more of a 5 Guys hand cut style. It can be an expensive burger lunch for sure. I feel like nothing is cheap anymore though. The food is fresh so you will wait for it. I prefer that. Everything is cooked on demand. You order at the counter (on the kiosk) and they call you when it's ready. The place has an old school diner vibe mixed with a somewhat minimalist approach. Counter seating and few tables exist, but I would imagine more people do take out, since seating is limited.

Wow this is an amazing brekkie sando. The soufflé egg was fluffy and love the smashed sausage patty. Get the Yeanie sauce which has cooked chopped onion. Easy to order online and it was made to order. Lovely staff inside

Yeanie's is fantastic. I honestly can't think of another spot that serves chicken sandwiches, tenders, and fries this good for the price. Plus, the place itself is adorable, with a throwback diner vibe. The buffalo chicken sandwich is a 10/10 perfection. The chicken tenders dunked in Yeanie's sauce or that fiery BBQ Habanero? Another 10/10. And the fries which were crispy and seasoned another, 10/10. The only thing that didn't fully hit for me was the loaded mac and cheese since it leaned a little greasy, but honestly, if you're into Hamburger Helper, you'll probably be all about it. Yeanie's is a fantastic spot that's fun, tasty, and absolutely worth repeat visits.

Was so good, had it twice in a week. What surprised us was the menu was a little different the two times we ordered. To preface, this review is for takeout only. The website is easy to understand and we called it in, the staff was super friendly and helpful when it came to questions. The burger is great. The yeanie sauce is delicious, a good comparison is a tasty burger but tastier. The fries are nice and crispy. The chicken yeanie both fried and grilled were awesome. The best part is you don't feel awful afterwards (compared to fast food and fast casual burger spots). One thing they need to do is keep the passionfruit habanero wings on the menu!

I was in Boston getting my hair done and remembered I was close to Yeanie's -- I've been seeing them all over TikTok and had them saved for the longest, so I knew I had to stop by. And let me tell you... it absolutely lived up to the hype. First of all, the ambience? So cute. The space was very clean, which I always notice immediately, and the aesthetic is this perfect mix of retro and modern. It has that nostalgic, cozy feel but still feels fresh and updated -- super cutesie and definitely Instagram-worthy without trying too hard. The food was amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was worth it. It's one of those spots where you instantly understand why everyone keeps talking about it. What really made the experience unforgettable though was the customer service. I had a little accident with my bag (so embarrassing ), and they didn't just brush it off -- they fixed it for free without hesitation. So kind, so professional, and genuinely caring. That level of service is rare. Incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and even better people behind it. Easily a 5-star experience -- I'll absolutely be back.

Casual smash burger joint that is very cheery and takes inspiration from diners. Employees were very nice, you can order at a kiosk or with a cashier and food comes out within 5-12min. They recently started offering a breakfast smash "burger" (sausage patties instead of beef), and it was pretty good stacked with their signature egg soufflé, hash brown, bacon, etc. Asked to not have the caramelized and they forget, but were very nice and quickly changed it out when we asked to have them removed. Got the spicy sauce which was just a regular spicy mayo (wasn't even very spicy) which was a bit underwhelming. I thought it was going to be a really nice hot sauce, so that was a little disappointing. It was about $14 for the sandwich after tax which makes it a bit expensive, especially for Dorchester. However, it was very tasty and I'd go again for lunch or dinner to try their burger and fries.

Wait -- these fries are amazing... it was so seasoned and crispy! I want to order an extra large order of that. Wings were extra crispy and huge! We pass by this place pretty often and we love smash burgers so we were excited to try it out. The ambience inside is cute and the service was great. We got the yeanie's cheeseburger, wings and spaghetti. The fries were hot and crispy, the wings had a great flavor and light but crispy batter. The spaghetti was sweet which isn't our cup of tea but it's not an Italian place so we didn't expect much. Unfortunately for us, The smash burger just didn't hit the mark. The patty was dry and lacked flavor, the "house made" pickles weren't pickled long enough so they just tasted like cucumbers, the buns also were a dry crumbly texture and the bacon it comes with were actually just bacon crumbles. I really wanted to like this place but I'm not sure we'd be back for the burgers. They are a new establishment so maybe they just need a bit more time perfecting their execution of their main attraction. read more

I'm really not sure why anyone would rate this less than five stars it's so good there and it's such a cute concept inside there's no place like it that I know of in Massachusetts. Whenever I want a burger this is the place I think of. it's a little bit far for us, but when I can, I make the drive out there and it's so good. Totally worth the drive. Also I love a great fried chicken sandwich and they do it up perfecto here. The only thing is I didn't expect the fries to be so spicy and I love spice still inhaled it all though so good keep up the amazing food! Nice addition to the neighborhood. We have eaten from here several times since they have opened. Went in and did ake out before they offered UberEats. Now we have been doing UberEats but I am sad that the shakes are no longer available??? Not sure if its just take out or they're gone all together now? We have had both the burgers and the chicken sandwiches and they're both really good. French fries are ok, I don't like the seasoning on them , I think it's onion powder, its too much. Cute atmosphere but after only being open about 6 months floors and doors could use some paint and cleaning. Burgers were average and not a place we would go out of the way to return. My wife loved the Cwispy fries but as I prefer fresh, hand cut fries I was not thrilled with them as they tasted more like very crispy but previously frozen fries. I've been coming to this place for a month and always get the same thing - classic burger (add Yeanie's sauce), crazy fries (w/ mango habanero sauce), black/white milkshake, and bottled coke. I really should branch out to try other things but I can't help myself. It's a matter of time until it wins best burger in the city. The customer service is top notch and consistent, I'd recommend it to anyone - even if it's a bit of a drive. I went in and ordered from the kiosk to avoid any customer service issues. I ordered the classic and it was one of the best smash burgers I ever had. A little heavy on the onions but the pickles were fire, so I wasn't mad . Definitely a spot I'll be back to more than once. It's all about the burgers for me but everything else looked good. The burger was ok and I would try it again. Service needs a little work. The staff did not seem to know much about the place that they are working at. It seemed a little unprofessional over all. (Side conversation between staff) They never checked in to see what I thought of my food. I would work on steps of service. My mom and I tried Yeanie's for the first time tonight and it didn't disappoint. Our order was ready in 15 mins. The atmosphere is nice and bright but not in an overwhelming way. The food was excellent. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned very well. The burgers (we got single Yeanie's burgers) were cooked perfectly, and the toppings were delicious. It reminded me of an in-n-out burger, which I love but cannot get on the east coast. Seriously recommend this place for delicious burgers and fries, they were the best we've had in awhile! Will def be back. read more

The Yeanie's Burger and Fries. It was a good sized p Smashed patty seasoned well and piled high with toppings. Lettuce and tomato was fresh and balanced out the bacon and sautéed onions perfectly. The Yeanie sauce (think bigmac) was tasty and not too overpowering so you could taste the savory patties and bacon as the main feature. I think the bun really makes this even better: it's a soft potato bread bun but the sesame top textures it very nicely for some additional crisp (and there's already plenty of crisp with the lettuce and crispy fried edges of the patty). Altogether very tasty. Fries are also really good: it's got that battered crispy texture on the outside and soft potato on the inside. Yeanie's is a very nice addition to the neighborhood. It's a fun place to sit down and relax. Staff is friendly and helpful. Maybe add one or two taps here and maybe a boozy milkshake to go with the fries and burgers! read more

Milkshakes are absolutely fantastic! Could not recommend more. The people working are incredibly nice! Constructive feedback: I have found the burgers to be a bit overly sauced. The pickles are also not good. To be honest a well brined pickle would add so much to these burgers. I like the idea of homemade pickles, but this is not the right recipe. A store bought dill pickle chip would be my recommendation. The fries need to be better. The texture and seasoning is just a bit off. I wonder if they are homemade or frozen, either way they need to be improved. read more

I'd never consider eating a place 5 stars til now. the fries were perfectly seasoned and a bit crunchy but soft inside. the burger texture, toppings and bun were balanced nicely. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Yeanie's just had their grand opening, and they're already serving up some of the best burgers and wings in town! Their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and stacked to perfection, but what really makes them stand out is the soft, toasted sesame bun, it adds the perfect touch of nuttiness and texture. Chicken wings: absolute perfection! They're crispy on the outside, drenched in a rich, flavorful wet sauce, and unbelievably tender inside. Each bite is packed with bold, mouthwatering goodness that keeps you coming back for more. For a new spot, they're already knocking it out of the park with incredible food and great service. I recently had the pleasure of trying Yeanie's Burgers and Social, and I'm already planning my return. The burger was cooked to perfection, with a beautifully seasoned patty and fresh toppings.
