Yellow basket on Clinton Keith's manager, Jose Mendoza refuses any customer concerns. This is the second time I've tried to express concerns of old food to him. Fool me once...but I thought I'd give it another go. Lettuce on my Caesar salad and my husband's side salad was literally rotten. Visibly decaying. I took a photo and offered to bring it to him but he absolutely refused, saying it was fine. And to try to get my money back. I told him I don't want my money, I want him to stop serving rotten lettuce, that he could get someone very sick. A true SoCal classic. Great restaurant/drive-thru chain. I used to go to the Temecula one with friends all the time, and it was great. I started going to this location after the Temecula became a Krispy Kream. It is always a nice and calm experience inside, and staff wait on you, and they are friendly. The burgers are awesome, and their Chili Cheese Fries are the only great ones left in the area. Pastrami sandwich is huge. Breakfast platter is also great. Just tried this place for the first time as I know lots of people enjoy it and I see them everywhere. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo but tried to upgrade to the carne fries but they refused to do it. I ended up getting the burger with the carne fries and a drink and the order came out to 34 bucks just for my meal! My wife got the same bacon cheese combo and it was 13 bucks. Her combo was worth more then my carne fries which were 14.99. The carne fries had no amount next to it or I would have never ordered them. So 50 bucks later for two meals and I'm expecting something good. Carne fries had very little meat and what little I had was all fat and uneatable, burgers were super dry and like hockey pucks. I'm sorry but for 50 bucks I could have gotten sushi and I got this crap of a meal. Definitely never coming back here. read more

My family likes the breakfast burritos and the bacon cheeseburgers with avocado. The service is good and the place is chill to hang out with friends and family for either breakfast or lunch. My husband just drove to Yellow Basket tonight and got in the drive thru 8 minutes before they closed. He was the only car in the drive thru yet they informed him they were no longer taking orders. If you're open until 9 PM that means you're open until 9 PM. The workers are lazy and the food has also gone downhill in the last few months. I have ordered here twice and I have never had any hair in my food. I think that this place has since cleaned up. Plus, I had not even looked at the reviews until now. I did a quick Google search and right in front of me was a place that served breakfast. " yellow basket". I ordered two breakfast burritos with two orange juices and a large order of fries. For two $9 burritos, they better be good, I thought to myself. One was the country burrito with gravy on the side and the other was a regular breakfast burrito with eggs, beacon, and cheese and hash browns. I get to the window and they only give me one orange juice, I kindly asked for a second one and they delivered. Of course I paid for it and signed for another charge. Some places will give you the beverage if it is their mistake, but this place is not like that. I was not expecting to get the orange juice for free, but you feel me. One person took the charge and gave the drinks, while another person came up with the box of food and hand delivered it to me. I took my food home and started to dig in. I split my burrito in half because it was so huge. The gravy went very nice with it. Mmm. The fries stayed hot in the box and were still crunchy by the time I got home. Which was surprising . I took one stars off because the flavor of the burrito was bland. The only seasoning was from the sausage. They did not offer salt and pepper packs. Plus I took the star off for changing my card twice for one meal. They have good customer service but they could do a bit better. The second experience was through Grubhub and the food was the same, however, my delivery kept being pushed back twice, so I took off one more star. I think that my review is pretty fair. I also gave them a second chance to "Wow" me, but instead it just disappointed me. I don't like me food delayed when I am hungry. read more

It doesn't feel too good to have one of your employees go up to a table close to yours and hear them ask the customers if they would like refills when no one has come up to yours to ask the same...AND you were there first. At first I thought the employee would think of us when he brought back their drinks, but no. He just turned back to the front & walked away. I have given this place 3 different chances. The 1st time i ordered a breakfast burrito with extra bacon and it was ok, kinda heavy on the potatoes and the temp was not so hot. I was already back on the road so i dealt with it. It was not a cheap burrito. Ballpark of $13 2nd time, i ordered a breakfast burrito with extra bacon and easy potatoes. This time i opted to eat a few bites before i left the parking lot. It was cold. The cheese was refrigerator cold. GROSS! I walked it back in and asked for them to heat the burrito up. They looked at me funny and gave some excuse about we can't t help it if the food gets cold cause of some fans the kitchen has. They took my burrito and reheated it. It was an ok burrito but no extra bacon. 3rd time i figured i got them figured out, i asked for a breakfast burrito with extra bacon, easy potatoes, and the cheese melted. On April 23rd, I order Fish and Chip at the Yellow Basket. I woke up at 2am with violent cramps and diarrhea . I ended up in the emergency room on April 24th where they gave me very strong anti-nausea drugs due to the food poisoning I experienced. I asked them for reimbursement for the dinner and the emergency room which totaled $105. Not only would they not give it to me but they refused to tell me the owner's name. I and my crew eat lunch here at least 12 times per month. This morning I went through the drive through and ordered a breakfast burrito and asked for three salsas. Normally two would be enough but their salsa containers are small and the people that put the salsa in them never fill them all the way to the top. The lady told me it was going to be extra for one more salsa. MANAGEMENT, I want you to know that over a less than .10 cent salsa you have lost business from me and my entire crew of 15 people eating there AT LEAST 12 times per month. This place is like an upscale fast food joint. They have a drive through that takes a while because they have to cook and prepare your food after you order it, but is worth the wait. They have standard American food options with burrito's and breakfast served all day. When eating inside, it's a sit down with servers, but you order your meal at the register. It's different simply because your order is taken before you are waited on at your table. The customer service here is great. They make sure that you are taken care of by checking on you often. I really enjoy their chili cheese fries. They are fried nice and crisp and the chili is delicious! When you order to eat inside, the portion is a lot smaller than if ordering to go. Either way, the portion is large enough to be a meal itself. In my opinion, the food is a little bit pricier than it should be, but it is yummy! read more

The menu here is really full. So much to choose from. One thing I love about this place is each order is cooked fresh. So when you come through you have to expect to wait a little bit for your food. They used to have a sign that explained this but I didn't see it the last time I went. So far everything I've tried here has been good. American comfort food to best explain it. Burgers, sandwiches, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders. Things like that. Prices are a bit high but everything is cooked fresh and you get a good amount of food so it somewhat compensates for the price. There is no covering over this area so while I was ordering, rain is pouring through my car window, into my car. But no issue, it's to be expected. I roll up my window and proceed to the checkout window. The employee, a older Asian lady wearing glasses, stares at me through the glass for several minutes.She continues staring and does not open the sliding window. Finally I roll down my window and she finally opens a her window. No water could enter her area because its recessed. She yells at me and states. I wasn't going to open the window with your window rolled up. I told that its pouring rain. And I wasnt going to roll down my window til she was ready to accept my payment. I gave her my payment and she gave me dirty look and slammed the window so hard its lucky it didn't break. When my order was ready another lady handed me my food and gave me my receipt. I asked if the other lady who came to the window first was the boss. She said yes. I told that I would be reviewing their place and let them know how I was treated. That I come here 3 times a week week at least. There was no reason for this window to window stare down. No rain could enter their window but it definitely was entering my car.
