This place is not bad.. we all miss the old western sizzler but this place has some daily specials that are a good bargain and you can add salad and dessert bar all for pretty good price. All the food we got was cooked well and the salad and dessert bar was not bad. I do think the buffet choices were not worth the price on breakfast night but I saw a good of people getting it. Buffet was excellent. Large selection, huge salad and dessert bar. The rolls on the table were fresh, very large and dense. Very good. My server was a nice lady... Jess, very attentive and sweet. You can tell, they care about the customers. I was kinda surprised about the 18% surcharge.. but I guess that is now an acceptable thing. And yes you still gotta tip your waitress. It's a more personal and locally owned Golden Coral. If you loved the traditional American buffets from your childhood, then you will love this place. Has all the staples, decent quality, clean environment and a very attentive staff. Deserts are pretty good too. I am kind of curious about the a la carte steaks and other items you can order. I have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years. It is my go-to for special occasions, especially my Birthday. Big Smile! The Hot food has always been Hot and the Buffet Bar workers are constantly putting out fresh food and keeping the serving area clean. The food is absolutely delicious and everyone that I've ever taken to the restaurant has been in agreement. I hear people at other tables speaking to their servers saying the food was delicious and they ate so much they have to be carried out. I hear the servers saying things like, "we hear that all the time." It's A Great Place! The food selection is outstanding and Always, Always Delicious! Never Ever have I tasted anything contrary to that. You can always count on it tasting the same. From the people that take the order and give the drinks all the way to the cashier...Everyone is Very Friendly and always ready to help with whatever is needed. My husband has suffered with poor mobility and pain, and someone has always been there for him, while I manage my grandson, who just turned two. Yellowstone owner used to be part of the Western Sizzlin Franchise for decades until their agreement ended in 2023. I was happy to read that they were getting out from under the franchise, keeping their restaurant open, not having to pay franchise fees able to keep costs down for the customer, and their excellent cooks/prep staff providing an amazing selection of great tasting food. Bar none, it is the Absolute Best. Anyone saying otherwise causes me to wonder if the bad reviews are from disgruntled employees who didn't do their job or people that can't be satisfied no matter what you do. There's too many great options available for them not to be happy with something. A one star review is completely out of line and unfair to the owner which has done everything possible to keep the place going, especially when it comes to food prices and paying employee taxes, etc. They've taken on a lot of financial burden and hardship. Being a business owner for 15 years and recently retiring, I can relate to just a few of the challenges this owner must deal with. we went today for Father's Day it was jam packed we both had the salad bar and it was phenomenal ranch dressing was a little to thin almost water that was the only downfall we had the staff was amazing as always and the peach cobbler paired with some soft serve vanilla ice cream was outta this world 10/10 we both highly recommend read more

Not the same steaks as before. No seasonings on them and over cooked me and dad both ordered medium and both was well done. Still have rolls (little over brown) and the honey butter. Normally I have good things to say about this place but today was bad and I mean very bad. The service was meh it seem like every was in a bad mood. Then you have a girl chewy gum and I mean literally smacking while restocking the salad bar. She almost lost it into one of the tubs of salad stuff at one point. Which I've always thought chewy gum as an employee was against the rules of a health inspector so you'd think they wouldn't do that. My wife's steak had no seasoning which is a huge first for us because normally the steak is amazing. I had the bar and the food just wasn't it. The salad stuff didn't taste fresh, the Nashville chicken was a disappointment and that's one of my favorite things there. I can go on about today's experience. The only things that we're good was the Drinks and the rolls other than that it was a terrible experience for us and it gonna be awhile before we come back if we come back at all. read more
