The place itself was nice and clean w a friendly manager that welcomed me when I arrived. My biggest issue is with the nail tech named Diane. Started out fine. We made small talk and later when I asked her to change the nail color on one nail on each hand (for reference, I had all the same color minus one nail on each hand that was a different color), her demeanor changed. She was short with me and condescending when I would ask a question. She also told me to relax my hand even though I've never heard that request from any nail tech before and I've been getting my nails done for years. She did change the color for me but not without issue..the rest of the appt, she proceeds to burn each nail bed w the drill and then nicked my skin on several places. I left the place w very red skin around each nail bed. I think the place itself was fine but my recommendation would be to find another nail tech if you decide to go here. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least. I gave one star since the place itself was clean. read more

Today, my mother was eager and excited to find a new nail place to check out in Georgetown. She saw this one online and noticed all of the nice reviews so she decided to go to it. As soon as she walked in the woman at the front desk stared at her for a moment and then asked, "How can we help you?". My mother informed the woman that she wanted a full set done. The woman then walked over to a male associate and talked with him for a bit. Afterwards he walked over to my mother and asked, "How can we help you?". My mother proceeds to tell them once more that she wants a full set and he stares at her for a moment and then tells her that they cannot help her. They have no reason. My mother is a brown skinned lady and we both feel as if this interaction was because of that. So, I am letting any fellow African-Americans know to stay away from this spa. read more

She took her time and they turned out just like I wanted. Cody did a great job to make me feel welcome. I observed him making every guest feel special. The prices are great too. Never leave review but I had too! I went and got my first ever dip after I scheduled the appointment and it was a pretty bad experience and embarrassing which was sad as I've been here before. The pedicure, young lady who did it was nice and courteous also did a good job. The SNS, I was told it was my hands and I didn't relax my hands enough, he shook my hands and arm, I asked for oval and received a scary long almond. I could tell he was very frustrated with everything including me, I went to wash my hand and came back to another customer being sat in my chair station that had my purse and everything, he had me sit at the next station while he started hers, then he asked are you mad or something, I said no but I would like to just pay and leave please. He then said I could come back later if I was not happy with them. My right pinky nail was hurt by the drill and cut. I felt so embarrassed from the treatment I received. Im sorry but I won't be back. Ps you're license is expired. I've been going to yen nails since I was a freshman in college (4 year customer) and I have yet to have anything but a stellar experience. The staff is patient and accommodating and remember you by name. Every set of nails I get (which vary depending on what I'm doing that week) are smooth and perfectly polished. They take the time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want, and encourage you to speak up if you change your mind or want something else done. Everyone there calls you "boss," because they listen to you as the most important voice when you are there. Customer is king, yet they treat you as an old friend. I'm sad to be leaving Georgetown and Yen Nails, but so happy that their new location is bigger so more people can experience this awesome business. TLDR; GO HERE! You won't regret it read more

It is in a good location, and the owners are great and take pride in who they hire to work in their nail salon. You are greeted as soon as you arrive. Everything is always nice, clean, and neat. I am very happy after going to Yen. I had read their reviews online, and although there were others closer to my house, I opted for Yen because of the nice things people were saying about Cody and his team. First I called to schedule the appointment: Gel Manicure. I needed a 6 pm appointment and they were happy to oblige. When I walked in I was greated right away. It was pouring down rain so they gave me a towel to wipe of my flip flops. The place was clean, had good music, and a TV. My nail technician, Rachel, was sweet. She offered me something to drink (I took Chardonnay) and got started right away. Cody came by to make sure he knew how I had heard about them, how he treats customers, and how he could make me a repeat customer. I explained that if I pay 30-40 bucks for shellac it better not come off in a week. I told him about a few places in Round Rock that I had tried and was not happy for that reason. He took time to explain to me that if it chipped within a week they would fix it at no charge. HALLELUJIAH! Not only was Rachel nice, she was efficient and quick. I was in and out in about 35 mins. I declined the shoulder massage and paid. ONLY $30!! I will certainly be back. Rachel stated that a shellac polish change is $20. read more

Although the staff were very nice, and everything was very clean and hygienic, I was not impressed in relation to the cost. For $90 I got a shellac mani/pedi. The pedi was ok, but massage could have been better and longer. The mani was very disappointing. Although the nails look great, 3 nails began cracking and peeling only 3 days later. Unfortunately I do not live in Georgetown so I had to pay another salon to redo it all. Very disappointing. *update* Having the owner reach out means a lot.
