I was recommended by a friend to come here for savory Banh bao ( Vietnamese steamed pork bun). I just ordered Togo, but its a very cute tea/coffee shop with a few tables that you can sit down. They also serve salted egg cake, sweet bun, banh mi and Vietnamese sweet desserts like Che Khuc Banh, Che Ba Mau, Sua Bap, etc. I liked the Banh Bao here - filling was flavorful and the bun was soft and light. When you order Banh Bao, staff can warm up for you or you can microwave at home for 45 seconds. Very fast and friendly service.

The best banh mi thit nuong in dfw. I think they're better than quoc bao in garland. They use coriander and cilantro and it makes it more flavorful! I also like their som Bo Luong. Not as sweet and delicious

Never tried their bun bao until now! Regretting that we only got one! I'm picky about my bao and this one is bomb. Not the traditional meatball inside, the meat is broken up but the flavor is amazing! Definitely going back to get more for "emergency food"

I came here for a quick lunch with a friend because we were craving banh mi and I'd heard about the steamed buns! The steamed bun was divine, with salted egg and ground meat inside. It's not on the menu but instead in their to-go item display. They're cold but if you ask they'll microwave the steamed bun for you! The banh mi was wonderful, with very crisp bread and fresh vegetables. The pork was a bit tough but still carries flavor and all of that alongside the boba made for a huge meal. All of it cost about $11 pre-tax! There's tons of parking, not a ton of seating inside so I'd recommend your food to-go. Definitely get the steamed buns while you're there!!

Love them as always! Honestly to us, the star of the place is their Bông Lan Trứng Muối (Salted Egg Yolk Cake), a sweet delicate commonly found in Việt Nam that Yen's truly delivers. ⁣⁣ After numerous attempts to look for alternatives in both the Dallas--Fort Worth and Houston areas, we come back to Yen's for the best quality AND the cheapest price for the amount of cake you get! 2 quality, t h i c c layers of cake joined by a creamy layer of sauce, salted eggs, pork floss, and topped with even more!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The cake itself is soft and spongy, never dry. The ample amount of sauce coats every bite perfectly. And all the components--the cake, the sauce, the the salted eggs, pork floss--go together perfectly. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Yen's also offers the cake in a smaller roll, perfect for a first-timer!⁣⁣ Join my foody adventures on Instagram @smallbites.bigappetite :)

    Crab soup... disappointing

I wish the food was as good as the look of the place. It's a gorgeous and welcoming restaurant. The person behind the counter was also warm and welcoming. But the boba tea and soup were lacking. The boba didn't have bounce, it was slimy on the outside. I didn't mind the tea because it was tea forward and I prefer that. The crab soup was a big disappointment, no actual crab. And other than the broth having a crab flavor there was nothing else to the broth. Also the menu is extremely limited.

They have a more limited menu now it seems, sandwiches, rice dish, drinks . Price great, sandwich good crunchy bread

It's ridiculous that you call in an order at 6:30 PM and they take the order. You get there at 7 PM and they are closed. They could have said we close early, but that would be to easy! I'm really not sure to why a business would close early on a Friday night but this one does. Customer service at its best.

Custom one of a kind durian birthday cake. Basic decoration but your taste bud will thank you

I was skeptical at first since there's so many snack and boba shop, but now I'm a regular believer. Great little family owned place, try their salted egg yolk roll and durian crepe and you will know what I'm talking about. So far they're have the best durian cake, good pork bun too. Very reasonable price. It's a must try if you happen to be in Arlington. Below is what the durian cake looks like, yum, fresh durian and light whipped cream with homemade cinnamon sugar marshmallow! If you like durian at all you will love it, cake is light and airy.

A hidden gem in the Ben Thanh Plaza area! I heard it was known for their banh mi and it did not disappoint! My bf and I got their banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork) and it was so flavorful and had the perfect amount. I also got their cream puffs which was creamy and smooth, viet ice coffee and their che yen which was alright wouldn't get again. The cafe itself was cute and roomy and they also have WiFi!

Food and cakes here are delicious. Chè is yummy as well The air is fresh as we walking in the store. Good for hanging/gathering out with friends/family. Their beef jerky and salted egg sponge cake definitely a must-try.

When we pulled into the parking lot, we immediately noticed how full it was. Once we walked in, there was a great amount of people sitting around, possibly having meetings and working. It was barely 11 am on a Tuesday. My coworkers and I were able to get coffee and charge our devices. There is an abundance of charging outlets all over. There is even a little seating area for children to sit and read or play. The staff was polite and helpful. We ordered with ease. I like that there is plenty of seating areas inside, two different outside patios downstairs, seating on a second level and another huge patio area upstairs. To get upstairs, you can take the stairs or use the elevator. Besides beverages, you can purchase pastries and merchandise such as t-shirts. This is definitely one of those little shops to come, sit and work while you sip your tea or coffee. It's Uber cute and trendy. Check it out!!

At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. Instead, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. Although quite unassuming, the sandwich was incredibly delicious. The ciabatta bread offered just the right amount of toast and texture to hold everything. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. In the future, I'd love to try a one of their many drinks - non-alcoholic and alcoholic included!

To name a few there's creme brulee, charcoal honey, ube, pandan...along with all the regular flavors. The pastries are good, they are average, which is still a good thing. Ham & cheese came out flaky. :) Presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I'll go there midday & there's not alot to choose from so it will prevent me from getting a snack. Charcuterie & wine is available but I haven't ordered any of those. A fun atmosphere, along the wall are built in seats with chairs on the opposite end of the table. Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.

We ordered the pho ga (chicken pho) and ga len mam (chicken platter). - I'm particular when it comes to pho ga, and this one hit the spot. The broth was clean and flavorful. The sauce to dip wasn't my favorite with the pho, but it's because I prefer the ginger fish sauce. - initially I was surprised that the ga len mam was $70, since the picture didn't show a whole chicken. We were very surprised when we saw it come out. Everything was flavorful and the eggs were my favorite. There's sticky rice in the middle that you can eat with the different styled chicken. It was exactly what I needed and fully satisfied my coffee craving. Then I wanted to try one of their specialty drinks, so I got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. I was really excited for this one because the name sounds amazing, but unfortunately it was kind of a letdown. I couldn't really taste any mango or any other flavors. It mostly just tasted like a sweet matcha, and even the matcha flavor wasn't super strong. It wasn't terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again or I would just a regular matcha! I wonder if they didn't get the correct order now that I think about it ‍ I was also debating between trying one of their pastries or their little ice cream collection on the side and I'm so glad I went with the ice cream because I got the White Chocolate Mocha Chip Cheesecake and wow... this was SO good. Easily my favorite thing I tried and btw these are like $11 for 5.5oz.
