From the start, the hygiene was questionable. Her phone was sitting on the service bed right next to my head. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was for timing, but it already felt unsanitary. Once the lash solution was on, I had my eyes closed for about 10 minutes. During that entire time, I could hear her behind me scrolling through her phone. The moment the timer was up, she went straight to touching my eye area. No gloves. No sanitizing. I have no idea if the phone was clean, but her hands definitely weren't. The results were just as disappointing. The lashes near the inner corners were completely untouched and still pointing downward. I pointed it out immediately, and she brushed it off as "normal". Then I looked at the side profile and saw the curl wasn't a curl at all. It was basically a sharp 90 degree bend. Nothing like the photos on Yelp that convinced me to book in the first place. What really bothered me wasn't the hundred bucks. It was realizing I walked in with perfectly normal lashes and walked out with a problem I didn't have before, all because I paid someone to make them worse.

However, Teresa scheduled a free 30-minute consultation with me in which she answered all my questions. At no point did she pressure me to make an appointment just so she could charge me for her service. It was obvious she cared a lot and wanted me to make a decision that I would be happy with in the years to come. For example, when I asked for a more prominent outer line, she explained to me how it would translate as I get older and how it may look more unnatural at different angles.
