This is the bad cleaners in Irvine! Folks, I asked for cleaning my son's shirts, and I got it back with additional stains! It's ridiculous! The clean worker told me that he washed it three times and it doesn't remove. I asked him to bring me back home that I paid for removing the stains. But he told me that he washed it three times and will not give me my money back! Is it responsible? I'm very disappointed and decidedly not recommend to go to "YES Cleaners"! read more

My wife brought an expensive name brand shirt to them with a small bleach stain. They said they would try to get the stain out. When we picked up our dry cleaning they presented the shirt numerous tears and holes in it. The absolutely destroyed the shirt. They claimed this happens when you wash a shirt with bleach stains on it. ???????????? Unreal. Then they had the unmitigated nerve to charge us for the dry cleaning! This was my experience. A few months ago I first took Honeybuns' pants to patch a rip. I was quoted $6.00 for the patch. When I went to pick it up, they charged me $8.00 The patch was done nicely and sturdily. Then last month I took a second pair for a patch repair plus sewing back the ripped belt loop. I was quoted $6.00 for the patch + $2 for the belt loop. I was fine with that. When I came back to pick it up, this time I was charged $10.00 ! Since this was not the same person who took my order, I said I was told it would be $8.00; but the guy said no, it's $10.00 Since I can't sew, and these are Honeybuns' work pants, bite the bullet and paid it. Then last week I took a pair of shorts to be repaired; again the button area needed a patch and the button sewn back on. The shorts didn't require cleaning. The guy quoted me $6 for the patch and $2 for sewing the button back on. For whatever reason, the button wasn't in the bag (it fell out in the house). I told the guy I have to find the button and then I'll bring it back. When I came back later in the day, he told me it'll be $8.00 (last time I checked $6 + $2 = $8) so I gave him the shorts. I needed the shorts fixed before Comic Con, and it was ready on time. HOWEVER, this time the older guy told me it was $15 !!! I said I was quoted $8; he said no; the patch was $12 and the sewing the button back on was $2 plus tax. Since Comic Con was coming, I had to bite the bullet and pay up. NEVER COMING BACK !!!!! The seamstress does a great job; but I don't like this "upcharging" tactic. If any yelpers know of a better place, please let me know! read more

BEWARE!!!! Customers bringing in coupons....they WILL MARK UP THE PRICES before giving you the "discounted rate." I confronted them and asked why was the 40% discounted price the same as the regular, non discounted price that was given to me over the phone? They couldn't give a straight answer and I requested another price quote from another worker and the price quote was way different than what was originally quoted with the discount! I do not appreciate business who are deceitful and mark up pricing to customers with coupons. If you don't want to give the discount, then don't publish coupons! It's my first time using their service, it's 40% off the first time, but I will never go back. I dropped off two Madeline cardigan sweaters, because of their 4stars reviews on yelp, I thought I could give it a try. The owner seemed nice through a short conversation, but their service ruined my sweaters. After the cleaning, I found fabric pulling and damaged on both of the sweaters. It's not worth it to bring expensive clothes there for cleaning again. read more

I've never left a review on yelp before but I felt obligated to for this cleaner. My girlfriend bought me a nice wool sweater for Christmas and I wasn't careful enough and put it through the washer and dryer. It had shrunk so much that I wouldn't have been able to wear it again. But I took it to Kelli (store owner) and he was able to stretch it nearly to where it was before without damaging the shirt at all. When I told him that it was still a little short he told me to bring it back in and he'd get it stretched to where I needed it for no cost. He's very friendly and knows how to treat customers well. I went to pick up breakfast for my boyfriend and drop the laundry off. Parked in the laundry parking space went to go get the food and came out to a security guard writing me a parking ticket I told him I was about to go to the laundry cleaner right after and he told me if I go to the restaurant I can't park there so I took the business to another location because I thought that was pretty ridiculous. I took two wool coats, a suit, and a pair of men's slacks here. They came back probably better than I've ever seen them - even when they were new. The cost? $27! For five pieces, it's a bargain. They offer a discount based on when you say you need the items. This was the first time I used Yes Cleaners and I am more than pleased. Will definitely use them again in the future. I need to get some items hemmed, so I'll update my review after I get them back. Update: I took two pairs of jeans and one pair of tuxedo pants to get hemmed. Each hem was $9 (which is about average in my experience) and they did a great job. We will definitely use them again for cleaning and hemming. Brought in a brand new dress, price tag still on, to this place for the first time thanks to their coupons on Irvine World News. Upon leaving, when the girl asked if it's okay to remove the tag, I said yes. I didn't think they would remove the entire manufactured label from the dress -- leaving holes behind where the label should have been. First, they quickly became angry when I called in the same day to talk about the problem (when I picked the dress up I was in a rush), and when I went back the next day they explained that my tag was poorly sewed on, which is why it got caught on the machine. No, the tag was not poorly sewed on, that's just how it is (I have other clothing by the same label, and no previous problems with tags at cleaners) The whole scene created a lot of distaste for me. They did what I asked them to, and unfortunately a little bit more. They also sewed a rip on the seam with a white thread...mind you my dress is mustard yellow. read more

All of the 5 star reviews for this business are clearly fake. They should change their name to "No Cleaners." This is the worst cleaners I've been to. I definitely would not trust them with any of my garments. My mom had left an expensive black blouse with them to get cleaned and they had scrubbed on the silk roughly that they ended up ruining the fabric. We came back and told them that this was unacceptable and they had ruined her blouse. They argued with us and accused us that we were lying. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I happened to find this spot just down the street from my place, and I'm so so glad I did!! I initially came here to dry clean a wool coat (which came out crisp and clean!) and came by today again for an emergency pants hemming. I was desperate and called the store; Kelly picked up and he was so kind (and funny!) enough to allow me to bring in my slacks for a same-day hemming. I just picked up my pants, and the hemming is immaculate, the slacks are ironed beautifully. I usually hem my pants myself but since the slacks were a difficult material I needed help! I have a company dinner tonight and Yes Cleaners were so warm and friendly to accept an emergency same-day hemming that was on super short notice. Both times coming here was a wonderful experience, not only because of the quality of their work but also their welcoming staff. More like NO cleaners!! They are AWFUL! avoid avoid avoid! The first time I came here, I dropped off a dress inside a garment bag. When I picked up my dress, the garment bag was missing so I asked about it and they claimed that I never gave them the garment bag. I was annoyed but didn't make a fuss about it. The second time, I dropped off a coat lined with faux fur. When I picked up my coat, the fur was completely messed up - from soft and fluffy to stiff and knotted. Not to mention,discolored. My coat was ruined and I never went there again. Recently, my friend dropped off her Uggs for cleaning. It was returned to her in a horrible condition, with significant discoloring on the outside and stiff fur on the inside. Like my coat, her Uggs were completely ruined. They offered to try to clean it for her again, but it was pretty much beyond repair. What they need to do is to compensate her for the Uggs that they destroyed. They lack the competence on how to clean things appropriately, AND they obviously don't even check the conditions of the items before they return it to the customer. UNACCEPTABLE!! read more
