I called them because my A/C gave out. My thermostat will turn on but not my A/C. I panicked and called them. Three hours later they came by. The tech came by and told me the trouble shooting the unit charge. I agreed and he proceeded to check the unit. After a while he came back and said he was 99% it was my transformer. I said ok change it after he gave me a quote ($339) for the new transformer. I was happy it was getting replaced and I was getting A/C again. But he came back and said the transformer took out the circuit board. ($800) And he could get one the next day. I was pissed already. 99% sure is what he had said. Which did not pan out. Then he explained that the circuit board could have also damaged the condensers coils and compressor as well. That I might need a new unit.( $11,000 -$12,000) I was upset. He left for day. I called a friend up and his buddy that does A/C came by the next day checked it and changed out the "BLOWN 5 amp FUSE"..!! Which is like .10 cents. This is ridiculous of YES.! They will rob you. And sadly I think that's what they are told to do to the customer. I don't recommend them at all. Why are they not being investigated. read more

I scheduled an appointment 4 days ago for Yes AC to come to my house and give me an estimate for a ductless mini- split AC unit in my garage. It was scheduled for Saturday between 10:00 and 2:00. I called Saturday at 1:00 to get a more accurate time for them to show and was told that they forgot to call me to tell me they couldn't make it and to reschedule the appointment for the estimate. We rearranged our day to accommodate them and they didn't show up. I will go with any other company that shows up on time and can communicate any changes. NO on Yes AC. read more

I scheduled an AC tune up through Home Depo for $60.00, YES Air Conditioning came out and said my unit was to old to tune up.. I never received the tune up but the field rep talked me into a $169.00 package for AC and Plumbing maintenance for the year. He said it would cover all the plumbing and air maintenance for my home for a year. I wrote a check for $169.00 for the yearly maintenance, the next day someone calls from YES Air and tries to sell me a new unit. I told him I'm not looking for a new unit I paid for yearly maintenance I was informed that that doesn't cover maintenance or repairs. Needless to say it was a bait and switch! When I called to cancel this useless service they stated that they will refund the $100.00 but charging me $69.00 for the tune up I never recieved aside from the fact the cost for a tune up that Home Depo told me it's actually $60.00. Basically the tech came out, didn't do a tune up, talked me into a $169.00 yearly service contract that doesnt cover anything. Bought 2 air conditioners in four years. The nest thermostat has been bad for two years in the older unit. Always had to tap on the wall to get it to come on. They came out and said it was $80.00 to analyze it. It took 30 seconds for them to tell me the nest was bad. They said to replace it was 180.00 plus the 80.00 to analyze it. On 9-30-17 we had Yes put in a Flow Tech Descaler that was supposed to descale pipes and the water heater. The water heater was installed on this date and the Flow Tech was installed a couple of days later. Well the water heater failed in May 20, 2019, 20 mos after the installation. So much for descaling. I was ripped off for $2490 got this small electric unit on the wall in the garage and attached to the water heater. A couple of weeks ago I sent a letter to management about this and have received zero response. With a 2 start rating it figures. I wanted the $2490 back for this piece of junk. I called another plumber and they had never seen or heard of this and said it was worthless. I learned an expensive lesson and to think I never got a response. read more

Similar to many other reviews on here, this company has some sort of policy with their technicians to encourage them to sell sell sell. The plumbing side of their business did all sorts of things to try and solve my water pressure, none of them worked, yet at the end of it, he billed me $1200. I told him he didn't solve the problem by getting me more water pressure to my shower, but he said that he can't undue the time he was there. WHAT? On the air conditioning side, this was a few years back. The tech wanted to do $2000 repair, saying some technical stuff about my unit. I didn't understand, but I didn't trust it because my units been working fine. I decided not to go with the repair. And guess what? It's a few years later, and my unit has been working like a champ. Just had Alex show up for my scheduled A/C maintenance appointment, and he was trying to tell me that I had a leak on my unit that they installed less than 4 years ago. The A/C has a 10 year warranty, but Alex said without further investigation said it would be a part or a bad weld that would not be covered and tried to tell me it would a minimum of $1300. When I told him I did not want to pursue it at that time and to please finish his routine maintenance, he said he didn't need attitude and walked off my job without finishing the maintenance. I tried to call Customer service to file a complaint about his unprofessional behavior, and they never answered the phone. I guess the customer isn't always right at Yes Plumbing and A/C. Steer clear of this company as there are many reputable companies in the Las Vegas area. For all I know, he was a scammer. I have since called another company. read more

So we had Yes come out twice to try to get our a/c fixed. The first time things got temporarily fixed up but we were told that all the units were about worn out and we would have to think about replacing all three. The second time I was the only one home and the service guy showed me that the one unit was frozen and told me it was probably frozen all the way up in the attic too. So we shut that unit down so it could thaw out. That's when I called my boyfriend and he suggested we call another place to get a second opinion. That's when I turned to Yelp. I went ahead and called M& K because they have the most positive reviews. When this guy showed up I gave him a quick rundown of what I was told by the other guy and he went right to work. Got his ladder out of the truck so he could get in the attic, which is much more than I saw the other guy do. After a short time he came down to inform me that it was only a $39 part, which is slightly different than the $20,000 the Yes guy told me it would cost. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. After being quoted with $29 fee to estimate what it would be to fix an issue with the toilet that my tenant was having, I've decided to shop around. However, a few minutes later a representative from "Yes! Air Conditioning & Plumbing" called me back with a proposal to go in and take a look / estimate it free of charge. I have agreed to it with a clear expectation and a promise from the company that someone would be calling me once in the condo and giving me the price and taking my permission over the phone. Technician has never called me, never quoted a price and never asked (and never had) my permission to fix anything. Next thing I know, my tenant paid $277 to fix a toilet (!) that I have not authorized (not over the phone, not through email, not in person) for it to be fixed; I never got a phone call, or was given a quote/price or asked if it was OK to fix it. My tenant, after my inquiry about this issue, informed me that technician told her that he had my permission (not!) to fix it. After reaching out to "Assurance Manager", I was offered a $50 coupon to "resolve" this issue. The manager even acknowledged that no permission was given/received and the technician did not call and talked to me in regards to the quote or fixing a toilet. They came out with 2 guys and told her it needed to be replaced, but told her it would cost the same amount weather it was a tank system or a tankless system. Also, they attempted to charge $500 for repairs to our heating, and we had it done by a competing service for $60. Sixty dollars! They missed the easy stuff, and default right to replacing your entire system. Using them is like throwing your money into a furnace. They are exceptionally expensive, and inefficient. Company told me that the ducts and coil for my AC system needed to be cleaned and it would cost about $1,400 to clean both units. I found this odd since I got them cleaned about a year prior. The fellow showed me a picture of the ducts and said they were dirty. They actually looked cleaned to me from the photo but I'm not an expert. I called another company for a second opinion and he said the ducts and coil were completely clean. I don't like being cheated and sold on services I don't need. (1) Last year they installed a new AC unit. They mounted the unit in the attic wrong and it fell braking the drain line and drain pan.. condensation turned to a lot of water flooding the attic and causing a waterfall to cascade through the bedroom ceiling. the repair team were worse than the three stooges. (2) Their warranty inspector came out last week, claimed we had a dangerous crack in our furnace and it HAD to be replaced.... carbon monoxide danger.. went for a week without heat. Finally a tech from Phoenix air came out.. had the furnace opened up.. there was NO crack.. The Phoenix guy forgoed an 8000 sale to be HONEST and ETHICAL The YES tech doing the warranty actually gets a commission to upsell on the spot. He LIED ( proven !!!! ) in order to try to sell a 9000 system. I will repeat, hey LIED and started a dominoe effect as two other companies trying to get the business did so too. They installed my brand new AC 3 1/2 years ago, back then their company name was Sunset Air Conditioning. about 3 weeks ago my AC stopped working so we called them. on Wednesday, Ray came to our house and he said we need new motor & module. He can ordered and installed them on Saturday. Saturday he called and said can't do it because he hasn't received the part. Monday we called to find out what's going on. He said he got the part but needs to be programmed, he can come on Friday. Friday, no call no show. Again, we had to call him. Two weeks ago I developed a leak originating from my laundry area. These were the first contractors I called to look at my problem. After looking over the manifold and the water meter, they were convinced that it was my manifold that was causing the leak. They didn't even pull out the washer to check the connections. The leak, by then, progressed to the secondary bedroom. They pushed for me to buy a new manifold and PRV, of which the latter I purchased and had them install. After a couple days, despite their tightening the connections and no visible leaking, water continued to radiate throughout the laundry area and second bedroom. I called Yes Plumbing back, and the original lead that came out instructed he couldn't help me, and that I needed to get with their flood restoration company first before they could even come back to look over and reassess the problem. Obviously I was getting the runaround, contacting flood restoration doesn't resolve my original problem. After getting a second opinion, I learned it wasn't my manifold that was leaking, rather a faulty connection to the supply line behind the wall. The second company I contacted had the initiative to cut through the wall and quickly define what the problem was. And, unlike Yes Plumbing, weren't quick to sell me something I didn't need right away. In final summation, if you want no definitive answers to what your real problem is, no help in resolving it, and to top it off - an attempt to sell you everything under the sun. Yes Plumbing are the guys to call. If you want a plumbing company with initiative and a helpful restoration team that are on your side, go with Precision Plumbing and Quick Response restoration. Great start on the service call, then after that, things went downhill real quick. A $275 project escalated to a $1600 project in a matter of seconds. From having a broken shower, the technician left me with no water to the house. I had my water main shut off for two days till another plumber fixed my issue for $200 flat. Yes! - they will try to upsell anything and fix items that don't need fixing. Yes! - they would break your stuff and tell you that you need more things to be replaced. Yes! - they would leave you high and dry after breaking your stuff. Yes! - they will give you the runaround. The only saving grace is the woman taking the phone calls. Very courteous and friendly. We didn't use them, but instead had them come out to give us an estimate on replacing one of our units! We thought since they were being used by Home Depot that they would be good. Well the comfort advisor for yes recommended that we needed to get vents put in our attic, since we didn't have any and that we would need six with the square footage that we had in there. We also had crack in the ducts. They would fix for free if we had the unit and vents put in otherwise it would be a couple of hundred but he couldn't be exact. We then had another company out that Costco uses. Found out that we have four vents in our attic and the cracks in the vents were minor and that they would be fixed from the replacement. I would say if you want to use them just make sure you do your homework and check around before!!! read more

Today, I had this company come out for an annual checkup on my air conditioning. It was 97degrees outside, hotter in the sun. My compressor had never been cleaned out for the leaves and dirt and I asked Joe Q if he would take a look at it for me. He not only looked at it, he proceeded to take the outer shell off and clean the unit. What a difference it made!! Needless to say, Joe did a superior job and I am truly praising his work!! Yes! should be proud of the service Joe Q gives his customers and he is an asset to them. I have had several employees from this company service my furnace and air conditioner and all of their employees are excellent, but Joe Q was the tops. These guys came over after I asked for a free in home evaluation down at the Home Depot. There is a nice Trane compressor and Rheem furnace proudly on display there. The lady setting up the appointment is a Yes employee and is wearing clothing with Trane and Rheem logos. Mike from Yes came over and gave us high bids for Amana units. When we stopped using Yes! for plumbing, we stopped having plumbing problems! I wish we would have cancelled air/heat inspections too. The best air/heat unit on the market that Yes! installed only two years ago cost $395 to repair this year. Heck, we didn't even get a discount on the repair despite having a service contract with them for 20 years. Never mind what their website says. "Everybody pays it!" demanded our technician, meaning the diagnosis and repair fee. That wasn't the worst of it. The most unforgettable part of the visit was when the technician discovered we might use another company to service our repair, he suddenly insisted it wasn't safe to leave overnight. When I asked him why it was safe to leave a few minutes before, he said "I dunno. That's the way it is! It's a safety issue and I have to remove the part!" ... Maybe because there was nothing wrong with it or the last inspector missed something? Who knows? Avoid! read more

Everyone stay away from this company. Had a quote from the company beforehand that they would come over and diagnose the problem for a flat fee. Our shower wasn't putting out hot water and these two guys came over and turned on the water and said the cartridge was bad.... Without even of opening it up. My husband just changed the cartridge the previous week too! First mistake.. Yes! They then quoted me on two different prices. If the cartridge was indeed bad and faulty it would cost $277 to replace. We bought our replacement for $50. Wow.. Let me add that they were already very pushy and it made me not only uncomfortable but suspicious. The second quote was to remove the good cartridge and clean out the debris for $149. After about 10 minutes of labor to remove the shower faucet, they told me that the balancing spool was faulty and it would cost me $450 to replace. I looked up the cost of the spool and it was $57. Second mistake... Yes! I refused to have them change the spool and one of they guys immediately got livid with me. They then wanted to charge me the $149 for the 10 mins of labor. Just ridiculous. I hate this place! I had a guy come out to do a service on my new house. In less than 15 min. he knew that my system was shot, and I needed to spend the 15k to get it working properly. I shake my head yes, and call to the manager the next week. He sends out a "supervisor." Half hour later the guy says I have low refrigerant. The deal was that if I bought a service contract, he would be nice enough to fill it for free. Me not knowing as well, I agreed. Come winter inspection... No call.... Come AC inspection... I get a call. I let them know they forgot to call me for the winter inspection. They say they can knock both out in one visit. I make my apt. for 10-12, and they show up at 8. Which is amazing for a someone who works nights. The last guy shows up, and does something amazing... His job, and inspects the attic. He finds the obvious reason of the leak. Leaves promising me a quote once he can talk to his service supervisor. 1 week later I start to try and talk with a manager. 3 weeks later after 9 calls to the office, and all 9 times the manager was, "out to lunch." (the 9 class were at times as early as 9:30am and as late as 4:30pm.) Call the contractors board, and am told I need to sew. Look up information on failed services... Find out it's bad for the environment, and against the law to refill refrigerant, without finding the leak. I hate this place. read more

This company has been exposed on local TV as a scam. It's been two years as of today and guess what? Hot water tank they claimed was "dead!!" is still working fine. So disappointed. I just spent $6,500 on a ridiculously expensive water-filtration system but I failed the inspection due to them having installed the unit in violation of the Uniform Plumbing Code. You would think a plumbing company would hire workers who know how to install the units they sell to be in compliance with the plumbing code but apparently not. It even took 5 calls to this company to have the inspection scheduled because their scheduler never gave me the courtesy of returning my calls. Forst off, Phil was phenomenal. He was honest and straight up with us. Very friendly and respectable. We knew we were going to have to replace our entire AC system, but we were not ready for the price. Shortly after Phil left we got a call from someone from Yes who I believed was Phil's supervisor. He attempted to pressure us into using Yes by telling us he can get us a cheaper price by getting a less powerful system and have them and install it the very next day. The supervisor made it appear it was a one time deal and insisted to it had to be installed the next day. We did not appreciate the sell tactic and we belive it's highly unprofessional. We wanted to give Yes the benefit of the doubt based on the negative reviews all over the internet, but at the end of the day they all appeared to be accurate. Very unfortunate. read more

The service tech spend 5 minutes to repair the faucet with no new parts and gave us the generous discount to $166 for his time to tighten the faucet. To Yes! I say Oh Hell No! I had a leak in an upstairs bathroom and called Yes! to schedule an appointment. Yes! barely arrived on time. They did an inspection and gave me quote north of $200 which included their "hassle free in-house warranty". I told the repairman that it sounded a little high and I'd like to get other estimates. He countered that he could discount the repair if I opted out of the warranty. That's when I really got suspicious and said, "No thanks". Later that day a friend recommended her plumber and I gave him a call. The source of the leak turned out to be an old seal under the toilet. Less than 30 minutes later I was out $9 for a replacement seal and $30 for labor. With tip, I was out 50 bucks. Oh, did I mention he guaranteed the seal for 5 years? read more

We had our A/C put in through Home Depot/Yes a couple of years ago and since then we have had the maintenance plan with Yes, and up until today the service was exceptional. They did both services today and the heating/AC guy was helpful, honest and on time so no complaints there. however, on the plumbing side the appointment time was not kept, not to mention the girl who called to tell me he was finally on his way practically hung up on me at the end of her letting me know. So the guy showed up hooked up the hose the water heater and said "It won't drain there is nothing else I can do" unhooked the hose and quoted us almost $2,000 for a new water heater and then proceeded to tell us the pricing was going to go up soon. Mind you, it has been maintained in the past by YES previously so imagine my surprise that nothing else can be done. (I did some research after he left and it just might be the drain valve is clogged) he then asked "IF" we wanted him to come inside to check anything else (I thought that is what he was supposed to do?). It was clear he didn't want to work anymore today and he was in and out of here faster than I have ever seen. Gotta admit my disappointment with this one.
