From the moment I walked it I was greeted by a friendly Host. It's was Friday night, so they had the local high school football game on. Pretty packed night with lots of families. Great to see. Server was very nice, made some great recommendations (my first time at Jake's) and very prompt with checking in and refills. Food came out quickly and hot! We've come here a few times and have loved the atmosphere. We tend to get either a patty melt or chicken fried steak and, every time, we are satisfied. The service is typically kind and quick, but I will say I am not a fan of the patio during the spring / summer due to the amount of flies that were present. Personal preference! Otherwise, I think it's a great place to brunch or hang out after church / work or just have a good weekday meal. read more

Food was awful. Got a burger -- no seasoning/flavor. Bland thin patty w thick gross bread. Made me sick. Fries also sucked. My parents also visited separately another day and got burgers and both got sick afterwards too. I assume they use the cheapest of meat/ingredients. Terrible. Will never be back. Place wasn't very welcoming when we walked in. Hostess didn't greet or ask how many we needed seats for, kind of made it feel like an inconvenience that we walked through the door. Also we ordered the fried pickles which although tasted great, were a polar opposite to the amount of pickles shown in the photo on their website. Not at all worth the over $9 we spent on them. Jake's is a solid place to eat. Great food and a fun atmosphere. We were in town to meet some friends and knew we'd enjoy our time visiting and eating good food. The table all ordered various burgers and gobbled them up. The fires were delicious, especially the sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce... wow! I usually always get a burger but ventured out of my normal & ordered the chicken quesadilla because the menu photo looked fantastic... it was good, but will probably stick with a burger. Our server Chloe was great... friendly, helpful and gave us time to chat and socialize which made it a great visit overall. read more

We had an incredible time at Jake's in Aledo! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively -- perfect for a night out with family or friends. The food was top-notch (seriously, everything we ordered was delicious), and the service made it even better. To start, trying to look at the menu on your phone is essentially impossible. What's up with that website? I did y'all a favor a posted pics. Next, this location in particular maybe needs a little more managerial love. The men's room had no paper towels or any other options to dry your hands with after using the restroom. On a Friday night at like 530-6 feels like someone missed some boxes on the opening checklist to prepare for the dinner rush. Also, the bar was swarming with flies. Bar tender couldn't even take a phone order without them landing in her hair. Probably just an off night overall though. Value for money is somewhere in the middle. I don't feel like I'm getting gouged but some items on the menu feel a bit high for what they are. We ordered multiple items from salads to burgers, wings, hotdogs, tenders and appetizers. My mother in law really liked her salad and she is moderately picky but I probably won't return for anything but the wings. However, will almost definitely go back for the wings and maybe pick up a hotdog or two while I'm at it. It wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad. Really good for Aledo seeing as how we have next to nothing to choose from. I can see it being a destination spot for fun and drinks. Nice beer selection on tap and what looks like a fun atmosphere out back. However, not really a food destination in my opinion. Update: Ordered 5 orders of wings. They were really tasty as usual, however, several of the wings were mangled and missing half the meat but were cooked and added to my orders anyway. This supports my original hypothesis that management is a bit weak at this establishment and they rely heavily on location and minimal competition. Staden was AWESOME! Excellent and upbeat service. He was on top of everything from the moment we sat down. From food and drinks to getting the food out very fast. And our drinks were always full. I had the classic double cheeseburger with fries. Hit the spot! As far as the ambiance, it's always very clean, and the multitude of TVs provide all the entertainment you need. Our waitress was Natalie, super nice and attentive!!! This was our first time eating here - and I am definitely impressed. The location LOOKS small, but it's got plenty of space and is very clean inside. The bathroom was even clean and didn't smell funky which is a huge plus in my opinion. The sweet potato fries are hot and crispy and fresh, I got the Jake's special burger and I love the poppyseed bun. Generous amount of toppings. My husband got the hot hickory quesadilla and it's sooooo delish, can't wait to try the hot hickory burger. My daughter got a kids meal, her burger was huge!!! I'm so impressed. My other daughter ordered loaded fries and they were even crispy underneath all the chili and cheese. As someone who does NOT typically like ranch....whatever yall use for your ranch or if you make it, keep doing it because it's the best dang ranch I've had! We will be becoming regulars here, I think. Edited to add: today is Sunday and 1:00PM. We were greeted by the very friendly hostess and waited no longer than like 2 minutes for a table. We absolutely LOVE Jake's in Aledo! We became Jake's addicts after many great meals at the Sundance Square location, so we were over the moon when they opened one right here in Parker County. Will and Jeruhme are our favorites--both are fantastic, attentive bartenders who always make us feel welcome and taken care of. Jake's is exactly what Parker County needed: great food, great drinks, and even better people. We're so happy to have them in the neighborhood! read more

We went here today after church. There were 6 of us. The place was very busy but we got a table outside on the patio. It was 92* but either way the fans it was comfortable. One of us had the Frito chili burger. He said that he would never order that again. Two of us had the salads. They looked and tasted great. My wife had the patty melt and enjoyed it. My granddaughter had quesadillas which she enjoyed and I had biscuits and gravy. If they are on the menu, I'll probably order them. The biscuits were not hot, slightly warm and the gravy was the same way. I'll admit I'm a biscuit and gravy snob but they need to be hot and fresh. The service was good but the iced tea came with very little ice that melted before the tea was cold. If I go nach there, I'll order the patty melt or the salad. read more

First time visiting Jake's Burgers in Aledo and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the ranch water to drink along with the Southwest grilled chicken platter. Both were excellent! The fried okra was crispy and seasoned well. The Caesar salad was also exceptional. My husband had the jalapeño bottle cap burger which he loved. I was particularly hungry so I went to a place to eat a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger I got definitely didn't look like the picture. It looked like a kids burger. I was looking for a meaty burger like the picture. I wasn't happy; I was almost hungry when I left. Everything was small. My daughter was like these chicken strips are so small. She was hungry after she ate the mini chicken strips. The mini cheddar french fries they gave were a joke. Not sure if they are going under but you need to give people some food or your going rto go out of business. It was way to expencive for what we got. I could have gotten a bigger burger down the road at Whataburger and cheaper and it would have come with fries. I will have to say I'm going to think twice before coming there again. Jack is absolutely categorically one of the worst service restaurants I have ever been in . It needs a new manager. Not a manager who sits behind a computer giving phony responses to bad customer reviews instead of actually fixing the problem which I suspect is exactly what's going on because the same complaints. Stopped in to grab lunch to bring home. Had a spicy margarita while I waited. I ordered 2 burgers for my husband and son and I ordered the quesadilla. I looked at the man's burger next to me and immediately knew I had made a mistake. My family was impressed with the burgers and I have had a burger from the menu before. Absolutely hands down one of the best I've had in a long time. That quesadilla was kids sized and loaded down with some kind of sauce. 2 thumbs down. I was disappointed in myself for being the person who goes to the burger bar and gets NOT A BURGER. I'm giving 5 stars because I knew better and the burgers are exceptional.
