So I went there to see if my order actually went through I arrived around 840 and they were closed even though it says 930 on yelp. I knocked on the door and finally got the attention of the dude after three series of knocks louder each time. He came to the door reluctantly I get it customer service sucks and it was the end of probably a busy work day. Anyway I found out my order did go through so I was happy. And to my pleasant surprise my tikka masala was really good as well as the daal and the eggplant dish I had. The restaurant was quick to bring the food and was very clean. It was somewhat dark and warm but you might call it intimate with the ability to host large groups. Finally made it here for dinner. It's a beautiful place inside. Started our meals with cocktails, from the full bar. I loved my mango margarita. My daughter loved her mango lassi as well. My husbands old fashioned was fine, nothing special. We got vegetable biryani, prawns with basil and garlic, chicken tikka masala. Benghan barta and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. Yeti is a quaint Indian restaurant . The interior is beautiful with relaxing Indian music. The waiters are dressed professionally but are not friendly and very serious. The menu has many Indian dishes that all look amazing. We ordered Chicken Marsala , Tandora chicken. And a few other items off of Menu. They were out of Nan which was disappointing. How does an Indian restaurant run out of Nan? The food is amazingly tasty and the flavors are perfect. Unfortunately the dishes are pricy and they don't give you much for price. I think their teasing us because the dishes look like samples. I sure wish the plates were larger and they would not run out of Nan. read more

OMG. I am still dreaming of their eggplant and potato masala and tandoori chicken. Everything about this meal was perfect. The raita is a bit sweeter than other versions I've had, but it was a welcome change. Naan was light and fluffy, tandoori chicken tender and perfectly spiced, and the gulab jaman fresh and sweet. When we walked in on Sunday morning around 11:30AM we were greeted and asked where we wanted to sit. We chose a booth right across from the buffet area. Our waiter is right there asking about drinks and nan. We ordered the garlic butter nan. It is a huge piece of nan. No way could we eat it all. We started with the delicious and very flavorful soup. Salads were crisp and had a nice salad dressing. We tried a small taste of everything at the buffet and each and every one of them was delicious. We wanted to go back for more but were just way too full. My mouth wanted more but my stomach knew better. LOL! We'll just have to go back next Saturday. The only negative is the booth seat seems to need some repair. It was a bit uncomfortable getting in and out of the booth. All and all this was a wonderful buffet lunch with delicious flavorful food at an extremely reasonable price. We'll be back. read more

So happy to return to Yeti after a couple of years, and discover that it is as good as ever! Service is excellent and attentive. The space is comfortable, airy and spacious, with a nice view of oak trees outside the large windows. Best of all, the food is terrific. Absolutely fresh, and beautifully prepared. I booked a party of 7 and told them it was a special occasion (birthday, out of town guests, etc. They didn't really do anything special but...I didn't order any specific treatment.) Usually, I order the CTM; however, I decided to spice it up by trying something new. Let's rapidly disclose that I was not disappointed with your Mughlai Malai Kofta. A user posted a picture of the mentioned dish and successfully seduced me to try it. The sauce was to die for. I soaked my rice and dipped my Nan. Next thing you know, I've cleaned the plate. They offered to make it but I wasn't going to sit there waiting for 15 or 20 mins while my other food got cold, so I left without dumplings. Got home and the food was good. I feel it was overpriced. Charges $2 for rice, that doesn't come with your $16 chicken Tikka Marsala. Then, they charged me twice. Called to clear up the mess and the manager hung up mid conversation. I had to go all the way down there so I can show them my statement to prove they charged me twice. For that huge of a mess up and no offer to compensate at all for any of their mistakes. First of all kudos to the location, decor and for the service but very disappointed with the food they serve as Nepali food. I orders a beer(yeti beer) they says it was brewed in house but I doubt it. It tasted like water. Since the name is yeti Restaurant so I thought they might serve some Nepali food. I ordered sekuwa, to my surprise they served me 7 pieces of chicken tandoori chopped into 7 small pieces with Indian dressing. Add to the disappointment, they have 2 flags right in front of the door I.e flag of Nepal n US but the food was only 2% Nepali lol. Lost my appetite after I have to eat tandoori as sekuwa, so I decided to take it to go. Didn't try the Indian food I hope it is good but not a big fan. One glass of house Chardonnay was ordered. Not great, and not a Sonoma County wine..miss #2 We ordered garlic naan bread...huge, hot and delicious. Served with order of brown rice, CHICKEN SAAG, and Curry Chicken all disappointing in portion. Both dishes tasted exactly the same (leave out stem laden spinach)... Chicken was tender and tasty, but at $38.00 for the two entrees we "expected" to take some of the excess home. Very boring to boot. The restaurant has a touch of class albeit 1980, and the advertising flags in the parking area tell me this IS NOT the area favorite we had envisioned. I often wonder how a restaurant gets such high praise, when in fact it is "unwelcoming" and the food is quite "forgettable". Pass. read more

The food was amazing. I ordered the prawn tiki masala and it was the best tikka masala I have ever had hands down. The sauce was amazing and prawns cooked perfectly. A friend order the lobster tikka masala and I always thought lobster couldn't get more decadent but this dish proved me wrong. Loved every bite of food from the samosas to the nann. We've driven past this place and have seen the process as the building developed. Waiting to see this place open to try it. Tonight is the night! We saw the open sign and slid across 3 lanes of traffic to turn on Farmers Lane. As we walked in, the restaurant opened into a large dining room, with a huge bar in the center of the room. They are in the process of getting their liquor license. We ordered samosas, spinach and cheese, garlic Nam, lamb tiki masala. Amazing, amazing, amazing. It began with samosas. Hot and full of flavor, served with a Chile sauce and a cilantro mint sauce, and a nice palate cleaner by way of a salad. The server came to clear our app plates and replaced them with warmed entree plates. I've never seen that before. The entrees came and it smelled amazing. We noticed that every dish was garnished and was beautiful b to the eye, which made our mouths water. I couldn't take pictures fast enough, as my other half was digging in. This is not your average Nepalese cuisine. Personally I am used to an abundance of spices, and flavor. I've never been to a place that when you order Chai they bring out the sugar packets. The chai tasted like flavored milk, not the sweet, creamy, pungent chai I'd expect. The food lacks flavor, the spice is not there. The ambiance is nice, and clean, it looks to be on the high end scale. I am unable to say much, I've tried dinner and lunch and both times it was lacking. The Yeti. I've driven past this for the last year and have hardly noticed it. If you're not looking, you'll miss it. It's really only visible from HWY 12, but the entrance is on Farmers. I popped in on a Sunday afternoon and tried the buffet. This was a good choice. The buffet wasn't overloaded with 500 options of poor quality deep fried foods, but instead it was like a catered lunch buffet with options. The display was clean and professional looking. There were no greasy handles, 12 year olds taste testing, or lines of people. It was a good experience. The food: The food was good. I'm not an expert in this genre so I can't speak much to the authenticity, but I can speak to the quality. Everything was seemingly fresh and well flavored. The one item in particular that blew my socks off was the naan. They brought out the garlic cilantro naan. This was killer. I would consider going there just for this. You must try.
