We checked online hours and yelp, they say they open 11:30-9pm. We got there 2:30 From Petaluma to tell us they were closed. Very inconsiderate!

My daughter and I came here for lunch craving for Indian food. As we walked in, the place looks nice at first glance. As we were seated to our table, we noticed the table didn't look that clean and also the glasswares. it had spots on them and water was suspiciously bubbly. We ordered mango lassi, chicken, momo, lamb shank curry, garlic, naan bread, and basmati rice from the dinner menu when we came in for lunch. Then the first order came, which was the chicken Momo then took another 30 minutes for the other order to come, which was the lamb shank curry then took another 15 minutes for our bread to come then next the rice was last. We were unaware of their lunch special menu till the other customers that came in after us requested for it. You would think they would've just gave us the lunch menu as well since we came in during lunch. I guess the server wanted us to order from the pricier dinner menu instead. The service was really slow, especially it was only two customers that were there which included us, so four people total in the restaurant. When they gave our lamb shank curry, the rice and naan bread came 15 minutes after. We wanted to eat the lamb shank curry with the rice and bread, but since we had to wait the meat entree got cold. The food was bland. The mango lassi and unsweetened iced tea that we ordered (cos the water looked suspicious) both tasted weird. The only good part was just the garlic naan bread and the chicken momo. But I unfortunately would not come back here again.

Wow! We came for Valentine's Day and were lucky to get a reservation last minute. The interior is beautifully decorated, staff were amazing with recommendations and very attentive to our needs. The food stole the show! The naan is a must! And we went out of the ordinary by ordering okra, but it was incredible! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. When we are in town, Yeti is absolutely on our list to visit again.

Thinking of Mediterranean or Indian, Yelp! offered Himalayan Momo & Kebob ... just a few minutes away from Rohnert Park. As a food court choice among 8 others, I was reasonably satisfied with my "Regular Plate.". Rice, chickpea curry, chicken tikka kebob, and naan for a little less than $14. The chicken tikka was an excellent choice. The piece of chicken was cut into cubes and crisped in a frying pan -- very flavorful with just a touch of "heat". The rest of the meal was passable for mall food. The turmeric-colored basmati rice was a bit off the mark for Indian rice ... it had a few bits of cumin, but definitely lacked the cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon I spice my rice with, and sauteed onions were completely missing in action. The portion was almost 1.5 cups. The chickpea curry was a good choice, but if I had to guess, I'm pretty sure the chickpeas came out of a can. The portion was on the small side ... about 1/3 cup. The warm, foil-wrapped naan was tasty, albeit a little chewy, but understandable since the mall/food court wasn't busy for a Thursday close to 6 pm. I almost ordered a side of raita, but I turned down a 3-oz portion cup at $2.99. Good thing! The server gave me a 1-oz portion as a sample, and it was the saddest excuse for raita. It was so watery that it wouldn't even cling to a piece of chicken tikka. I couldn't give 3.5-stars, which is what I would actually rate my meal, but I didn't want to shortchange them either by giving only a 3-star review. Would I return? If I lived in the area, probably. There are a couple of other good choices in the food court that I would try first.

Paneer Dosa (10/5 stars) - it is perfect in every way, the dosa was perfectly crunchy and soft, the panner filling mix was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, the soup was super hot but delicious and hearty, the chutneys went so well with the dosa Overall, this is going to be my go to mall food.

We've been coming to Taj Cafe for a while, and yet, I have been hesitant to write a review, because…read moreour story together begins with a slightly strange experience. Lately though, they expanded their menu, and holy moly, I had to write this review. They might have changed ownership too? Not sure, but something is definitely different. Generally, the food has always been good, but yesterday, our socks were knocked off by the tastiness of our meal here. First off: They now have deep fried momo's. And holy cow. We've had their steamed momo's which are good, but these deep fried ones are everything you want them to be. Crunchy on the outside and the chicken on the inside has a curry spice to it. It was a little on the salty side, but it didn't deter too much. The curry dipping sauce is also incredible. We also had a baigan bartha (eggplant) and chicken korma - both were way excellent! I feel like they really up'd the game. The chicken korma was so flavorful, even more so than before. I hadn't gotten the baigan bartha from here in a long time, but it was pretty awesome. Likely, they up'd the butter and cream... that's usually how it goes. But I dunno... maybe not just that, there's more complexity to the food. Anyhow, it was amazing. The service here is a little toned down, but not bad. You get the feeling that the workers / owners are pretty new here to the US... which takes me to the strange experience I had early on... On our 2nd time there, we asked for glasses of water, and what they brought out was incredibly hot water in water glasses. It was boiling hot. My husband asked if they could cool bring us cold water, and they were not super happy about that request, but they tried to do it. They came back with less hot water, but still warm. It was weird. You're eating spicy indian food, you want some cold water to cool you down. Anyhow, not sure if there was something going on with their water system, or what. But they were not very communicative, which makes me think perhaps they are new to the US. No judgement - coming from an Asian American myself. Anyhow, nothing weird like that happened afterwards, (they give you cold water) but I do sometimes deter from coming here because it's slightly hole-in-the-wall-ish. The lights are dim, making it feel a bit dingy. I hate to say it but as I get older, I just am less excited about hole-in-the-wall places, even though I loved them when I was younger. Now, I just want to eat in a nice enviornment. Either way, the food is great, and also not too expensive. So, we will continue to come. How can we not get those fried momo's!!!

I ordered a CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA and Naan bread. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The meal came out quickly as was hot. The Tikka Masala looked like a small portion, but ended up with lots of chicken and was very tasty. The Naan bread was enormous. I mean it was a lot! I only used about a 1/4 or 1/3 to sop up the yummy sauce. Everything was good. I ended up taking the rest of the Naan bread home and enjoyed it re-heated. Nice place with a casual atmosphere.
