My family has several people who are 6'5" and taller, so she is just tall. The manager said that the policy was put in place because some people lie about their children's ages to get the lower price. I completely understand that businesses have to deal with dishonest customers, and I have no problem with restaurants enforcing rules to prevent abuse. If a child is over the height limit, require proof of age, such as a passport, school ID, birth certificate, or another form of identification. Instead, I was told that most people don't carry birth certificates and that I should "just get over it, deal with it and pay the price." Again , I understand people lie , people do things to try to get over. I understand business have to set rules. But if you're gonna say you're setting a rule, because people lie. Then put in your rules that over a certain height, you have to prove it. That just makes no sense and is just outright discriminating against children.
