I had horrible carpal tunnel in my right hand since month 7 of my pregnancy, and even months after having my baby back in November. I saw Dr. Lin years ago, and I remembered she was really good. I recently had a very, very painful lower back situation. I went to the chiropractor, my doctor, was on anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers, steroids, etc. Nothing was working. I seriously thought I would never be out of pain again. As a last resort, I decided (seven weeks later!) to try acupuncture. I had two visits (she said it would probably take six), and the muscle released the nerve that it was pressing on and causing me so much pain! I literally could NOT believe it. I was AMAZED! She truly is a master of her profession. I would VERY highly recommend her. She is honest with you, tells you if she can help you or not, and really is true to her word as to how many sessions it will take. She really cares about her patients. Some people really don't accept acupuncture as a way of healing -- I am a true believer! This is a follow up to the review posted May 26. I underwent surgery last year for severe sciatic pain in the right leg. While the surgery made a very significant improvement, the left leg then began with almost the same intensity, and the right then began giving me pain again. MRI has shown my 68-year old back to have typical degenerative changes and stenosis. I figured I was doomed to just live with it for the rest of my life, however a series of treatments with Dr Lin has made a truly remarkable improvement. Truly can not say enough good about Dr. Lin. I went in for lower back pain and within 2 treatments the pain was 80% gone. This review is on the massage I got from Olga, not the acupuncture..For that I would give 5 stars...But my massage was one of the worst ever! She rubbed me down with a stinky apricot oil which felt like she was rubbing my skin raw because she either didn't put enough on or it just absorbed right in to my skin. If your using a scented anything the therapist should probably ask the client first if they are allergic to it or if the smell bothers them. The massage itself felt painful at times as if she was pinching my skin. When I left there my skin hurt so bad. At the end of the massage she asked me what kind of aromatherapy I wanted & all that was was her moving it past my nose a couple times. Thankfully the massage was only $39, but still more than what it was worth. read more

After six months of a swollen foot (8 doctors, mri, ct scan, ultrasound, xray later) all the conventional doctors said it was Lymphaderma (latin for "your foot is swollen and we don't know why") I decided to go to YinYang for treatment - the improvement was immediate and now 6 weeks later my foot is just about back to normal. I have been going for acupuncture twice a week and she just added lymphatic massage (Debbie is fantastic). She also made a blend of herbs for me to take daily. At first I was hesitant - what? 5 capsules twice a day? Yikes - but man, right away I felt improvement in my sleep habits, I had way less anxiety and my digestive system was vastly improved. I have been seeing Lin Lin for a couple of months now. I have several pretty serious ailments from fatty liver to back stenosis. What a blessing Dr. Lin Lin is in many ways!!! She cares very much about every person and is unbelievable for her healing talents. For myself, she has healed my wrist after 2 falls to avoid surgery and now starting her beautiful healing work on my neck for spine issues. Absolutely amazing with her acupuncture and massage to place the bones back into proper placement, heal the tendons and to rid scar tissue. This place is INCREDIBLE. For over a year I had problems with my left shoulder. The pain was unbearable. I was taking so many NSAID's ((Aleve, Mortrin, Advil) that I developed a stomach ulcer which led to anemia. I tried all the traditional treatments like cortisone shots, massage, chiropractic and physical therapy, but nothing worked. The pain kept coming back. Doctor's were recommending surgery. As a last resort I contacted Dr. Lin. She said I had muscle and tendon knots. She said she could cure the problem in 4 visits. She was wrong. After 1 visit the pain was almost completely eliminated. By the second visit the pain was gone. I still can't believe it. It was like magic During the second visit, I asked here if she had any treatment for insomnia.
