This is my favorite mochi donut place in this area. No matter when I get my donuts from there, the quality has been always consistent. The toppings are fresh, and the chewy consistency never fails. I have yet to have a bad visit and can't believe I haven't written a much overdue review for them. The customer service there is efficient and friendly. Parking also easy and free too. My favorite ones are the oreo and chocolate glazed pieces. The Malasadas are delicious too. Really, what's actually not delicious from Yo Mochi?! Nothing tastes too sweet or not sweet enough. Everything is just right. And consistently too. I can't emphasize that part enough because I can order donuts for DoorDash in the middle of the night and it still tastes really fresh and delicious. Not many places can pull that off! And if you ever decide to go in-person and hangout there, the store has a robust selection of arcade games. Stopped by Yo Mochi after dinner next door. The store was pretty empty which was nice for the kids. They have a small arcade section that you can play some old school games for free. Right next to the freeway 5, by Avery Pkwy exit, Yo Mochi Arcade and Cafe has exactly what it's store name states, some mochi donuts, arcades and drinks, only got to try two of the lemonades: Strawberry and Peach. Strawberry lemonade is definitely the better of the two options. Tried to play the crane games, but needed two quarters per round which you can exchange with the cashier if you have cash. Then in the corner by the entrance, there's 5 arcade machines - these are all free to play - I played the Pac Man and the Simpsons game. Unfortunately, some of the attack buttons did not work, but otherwise you can play up to 4 players on the Simpson game and up to 2 players for the Pac Man game. The only thing is, the arcade space was a bit tight in the corner and there was only one chair with the Simpsons game (that the cushion on the seat was sadly peeling away). There were plenty of tables in the area, and it didn't seem too crowded even with half of the tables and seats occupied. I could tell some of the family with kids won from the crane machine, but the machines seemed low on prizes, so I didn't really try them. With claw games seemingly rising in popularity, we were excited to find a place where we can have lunch, milk tea, and our daughter can play the games and try to win a prize! When we arrived, the store was empty. We were the only customers there. The menu contains various milk tea/boba drinks, Korean style corndogs, and mochi donuts. Very similar to a popular chain mochi donut shop. This place has special deals on the menu, so we got some good pricing on corndog + drink meals. Also, unlike the chain mochi donut shop, Yo Mochi has the option to buy individual donuts! Other places are sold in groups of 3 or more, and sometimes I just want 1 donut. This was a nice plus for us. Inside the store is plenty of seating, a handful of old cabinet arcade games (TMNT, The Simpsons, Pac-Man, etc) that are free to play. Claw games line one wall and cost a few quarters to play. When we went to order our food, the cashier seemed *so* disinterested in being there. I'd go as far as to say he almost sounded miserable to be working that day. I try not to judge if someone is having a bad day, but it felt like we were bothering him by being there. We each ordered a corn dog and got 2 drinks total. No donuts this time, bit maybe another time. The food was delicious; I really enjoyed the corndog with the potatoes on it. Drinks were pretty good, too. I had a boba milk tea and my husband and daughter shared a tarot milk tea. The claw games were disappointing, but thankfully inexpensive. The prizes are very cheap and not nice, which would be fine if you win them by playing on a dollar or so. But none of the machines felt like the claws were strong enough to actually pick anything up. We have had good luck getting a feel for claw machines at an arcade, but here the claws felt "weak". We didn't spend much, probably about $6 total, but we didnt win anything and that was ok. If you are looking for a decent plush prize, these machines don't have them. It's still fun for kids to try and see if they can win something! On the food alone, I would return. Service wasn't great, claw games were disappointing. It was fun playing Pac-Man for free. read more

This place is fantastic. Delicious mochi donuts and classic arcade games. The very friendly team member told me that they were working on some fresh donuts and that they were worth the wait so we put in an order for three: Crème Brûlée, Smores and Churro. We then went over and played some vintage video games. By the time we played a couple levels as Homer and Lisa on the Simpsons game, our mochi donuts were ready. Ambiance is nice, but no music--aside from the machines' sound effects. Mochi donuts were soft & prices were exactly shown online. Came for their soft opening - EVERYTHING IS BOGO FREE! Best time to try all their different food & drink items! I got the ube malasada & was pleasantly surprised with the ube flavor. It wasn't too sweet or fake tasting. Also tried the strawberry funnel waffle, which had a nice toasty texture on the outside & fluffy inside. Saw this place pop on my instagram and was in the area so decided to give it a try! Was very happy with the customer service as I walked through the door. I was greeted by a nice young man who went over the menu and gave me some suggestions since it was my first time. Ended up trying the mochi dog with hot Cheetos and some malasadas. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the mochi dog was and the malasadas were very close to the popular malasada spots in Hawaii. They make them fresh to order so it took a little longer than expected but they have some arcade games you can play for free while you wait. Brought me back to my childhood. This place is completely awesome. I think this place changed its name or was newly renovated, whatever it may be I like the overall change. The interior is really clean and neat. There are a lot of retro arcades along the wall, which is pretty cool to see. They also added a few new items to the menu. They have mochi donuts and mochi corndogs, but they also have mochi waffles and mochi balls (?) - I think they're like donut holes, but bigger. The staff was really nice as well. When my wife and I got the corndog, the employee gave each of us free mochi donuts! That was really really nice of them. I am definitely coming back when I get the chance. I love this place!!! Perfect place to go for the arcade lover that won't break your bank. Claw machines are 50 cents per play, they're easy enough to win if you know what you're doing, but enough of a challenge to where it's fun. Perfect place to practice before you go to round 1 up the road at the shops. Toys are pretty low quality, especially the alpaca thing, but I give them to the kids that come in. My fiance has a fun time too with the fighting machines- that are FREE!!! They are terrible at it haha. Okay enough about arcade games, onto the food. I mostly come for the drinks and the donuts. I've tried three donut flavors total, and so far the chocolate sprinkle is my favorite, which is impressive because chocolate donuts aren't the one I usually go for. I like their lemonade and my fiancé likes the brown sugar boba. Atmosphere is amazing, clean, and I love the hand painted graphics on the wall. All around great place. read more
