LOVE a big fat juicy sandwich. The person working there was also very friendly and gave us lots of context regarding the food. Small parking lot shared with a liquor store. The pickle is huge and so are the sandwiches. Service is quick. Genuinely such a solid place for sandwiches. I loved all the quotes that were up on the walls. Online ordering is available as well, making this place even more convenient.

First off this place should be a top rated sandwich shop. We had the pastrami. I've been here twice now and I already know that as a sandwich connoisseur- it will be in my go to rotation. I can only speak for the pops Italian sandwich but it's up in the running for best sandwich I've ever had. You'll be shaking your head in disbelief, ya it's one of those bites! David provides amazing service and is friendly, welcoming and personable. Not to mention makes a killer sandwich.

Ordered a quick lunch for pick up. l ordered a chicken salad sandwich, it was made exactly how I ordered it, appreciate that. Portion is definitely good, saved my other half for later. Very courteous employees, was greeted at entrance and food was ready. Friends got a grilled cheese sandwich and the other Western chicken sandwich. Both said it was a good sandwich. I realized they have Boar's head products so I will for sure be coming back to try another sandwich. Although they have some seating, it's definitely moreso of a pick up and go place.

Off the beaten path but really, really fresh and HUGE sandwiches. Mike is great and patient about letting you pick whatever you want and recommending choices. I've had the Cajun Turkey on Squaw bread and the Pastrami on Rye. Neither disappoints. You literally put whatever you want on the sandwiches, with help from the guys if you need it. Great prices too. Definitely a go-to sandwich spot when I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks for a great experience guys! read more

Yo-Way is definitely the way to go when it comes to sandwiches! From one end of the bread to the other, everything is so delicious and fresh! The sandwiches are huge and are a meal in themselves. Make sure to sample their house sauce because it is awesome and my sandwich would not have been the same without it. The smoothie was great too, make sure you try one! We were in the neighborhood on business and were looking for a sandwich spot for lunch. Glad we found this place. I had the Italian something or other; it was a really good sandwich. Only complaint is that it was kinda light on the meat. I've found that this is the case with places that serve Boar's Head. Guess it's kinda like Bose: you're just paying for the name and marketing. I mean, it's deli meat. I may be digressing. Don't get me wrong the sandwich was decent size and tasty, like I said. Met Mike behind the counter who walked us through the ordering process. They have a form you fill out so they can make the sandwich exactly how you want it and they have a lot of options. I don't see sprouts as often as I'd like but Yo-Way's got 'em! This place is the reason why I love sandwiches. Their meats are so tasty and everything is so fresh. I typically get the pastrami on a french roll with mustard and a pickle on the side. It's so delicious and the sandwiches are huge so you can easily share it with someone else. Not to forget, the service is amazing, as they're so friendly and helpful. This place is a hidden gem and will fulfil all your sandwich fetishes. I ordered a tuna sandwich in a cranberry walnut bread. This place has a ton of toppings and fresh ingredients for you to choose from. The staff is polite and friendly. They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want. It was the perfect mix between friendly / close relationships with customers and professional atmosphere. I heard some jokes being thrown around while workers were feverishly building away the sandwiches. It was my first time here so I didn't get the ordering process but unlike most places, the staff was really kind and professional in explaining it to me. You get a paper from the front of the line then fill it out and slip it through the window at the back of the line. Then you sit down and wait for them to call your name and they ring you up! It was great. The parking lot is skinny with no visibility before entering, so be careful entering and exiting, a car may be parking. Oh, and my sandwich is great! read more

This was my first time visiting this establishment. My co-worker and I were hungry but nothing in the area (El Segundo) jumped out at us. She suggested we grab a sandwich from Yo-Way but said it's all the way in Gardena. I was like OK and your point is? Anyone who knows me knows I have no problem hopping in my truck and rolling out for a good bite. 15-minutes later we were at our destination. Let me say that upon arrival I notice how nice and clean it was. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I ordered the chicken salad on French roll with avocado, provolone cheese and spicy mustard. AMAZING!! It was a very nice sized sandwich and no skimping on the meat or condiments. After this A+++ sandwich experience I'm looking forward to trying others. Needless to say I will defiantly be back SOON!!!! read more

Honestly this place is everything you want and more. Super friendly and genuinely good people. Fresh ingredients, divine bread (that sourdough bread...), interesting combinations, yummy smoothies, big portions, I mean what else could you ask for? Hands down the best sandwhich I've ever had. Was greeted by the owner and his son who introduced themselves very professionally. In the world of small businesses, pride of ownership is sometimes lost. Not here. I felt very welcome to their establishment. Ordered the chicken salad signature sandwhich thru their automated ordering system which took seconds and was very easy to use. It was by far the best sandwhich I've ever had. The sweet honey mustard, fresh crunch from the greens and cucumber made this sandwhich an experience. Wow. Found this little gem through fellow yelpers and boy were we glad we stopped by! As soon as you walk in, the owners were very welcoming. They knew it was our first time and right away gave us the run down on how ordering works. They give you a piece of paper that has different choices to build your own sandwich. Being a family owned business, they make you feel at home. Not only is this place very friendly and welcoming, their sandwiches are HUGE & DELICIOUS! I found this place on Yelp. We were on our way to the USA vs Mexico soccer game and needed a quick bite to eat. I didn't ask but it seemed like it was possibly the owner that helped us. He was very friendly and helpful. To be honest, it took a little while to get our food but guess what? WHO CARES!! We all live this fast paced life and some people need to chill out and gain some patience! We were late to the soccer game but the food and hospitality was worth it. The next time you are in a owner operated establishment learn to have some patience. This man obviously makes the sandwiches from the heart and strives to please his customers. We had the tuna, two build your own sandwiches on squaw and a salad. Also added three chips and three can sodas. Price was about $46.00. Pretty expensive huh?? Well guess what? WHO CARES!! I will gladly pay a hefty price for amazing food and an owner operator that puts his heart into his customers and the food. WELL DONE SIR! I would have happily waited hours and paid twice as much for the product you produced for my family and I. We will be back. Support your local, private owned hard working business owners! read more

Great sandwiches with OUTSTANDING customer service. The Western Chicken was very good, but I recommend getting the honey mustard on the side. We checked this place out on our road trip since it was close to the 405. As soon as we walked in the owners were really friendly and explained the different menu options. The Sandwiches we ordered were super yummy. You could tell all the ingredients were fresh and the bread was great! The outside has a really cute outdoor seating area with the little decoration on the top. Sorry I do not know what that is called. But the windows and the inside with glass panels, give the place a modern vibe to it. But decorations are very minimalistic; simplicity done in a very stylish way. The place is quiet. Maybe a few would come sometimes, but the place is usually very quiet. I have no complaints for the service. Everything was done well on the part of the staff. The ice cream was sweet. I ordered a Dalgona ice cream. Mostly because, I was thinking of squid games. But ended up loving it. Ice cream was soft serve, very smooth and very sweet. It is a soothing addition after a meal. The syrup was delicious, a little strong but something of my preference. The dalgona bits they added to the top were so crispy and crunchy, and I loved tasting it on top of the smooth ice cream. The Yuzu Citrus has the perfect amount of tang with a slight sweetness that cuts through the acidity. The tea flavor manages to shine through the fruitiness, and overall the flavors pair well with one another. The Jasmine Frost Iced Tea is very aromatic and brewed to really highlight the Jasmine. My boyfriend normally gets the mochi mango which has soft chunks of mochi mixed, and tart/sweet mango puree. I appreciate how the smoothie is never icy, and has a creamy texture. There are plenty of seating options for people, whether it's socializing or studying. It gets pretty busy and wait-times can vary greatly; I would recommend ordering ahead of time. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have with the spot is that the drinks do tend to be on the more expensive side, with drinks ranging from $7-9. The matcha drinks are also not the highest quality, and often the matcha tastes quite diluted. Overall a solid spot!

The owner always has some excuse about why it's taking so long to get an order! The customer service is beyond disgusting. The older woman whom works there, I presume his wife for she argues with customers, cuts them off in mid-sentence, and refuses to make an order when enraged, is by far the rudest! Furthermore, she can't even use the register properly! Yet the owner allows this type of treatment and still expects customers to return?? 45 minutes for a sandwich and you can't even get the cheese right? Moreover, I've never seen them wash their hands.
