This year they have implemented an easy online access for the twice a week program, as well as a reminder.  This has been well received. For starters, the booking process was seamless. There were multiple packages to choose from, whether you just want to try out a class or fully commit. I also had no idea that they offered more than just pole! Some of their classes include Street Heels, Metamorphosis (which is a pole-less class; just straight dancing), and a stretch class! For transparency, I've never took a pole class in my life. While nervous going in, you can't help but immediately feel welcome. The owner of the studio, Taylor, was quick to greet me and the front desk girl, Jules, was as kind as could be! I can't even tell you how much fun I had at this class, and I wasn't even any good! Everyone in the class, not just the instructor, was so supportive and I quickly realized that this was more than just a class. It was a community. I loved it so much that the next week I invited one of my besties to join me! It was such a blast and I can't wait to book my next class!!

The instructors are really encouraging and take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and safe, while still pushing you in the best way. I was surprised by how quickly I started feeling stronger and more confident. It doesn't feel like you are dragging yourself through another gym workout. Every class feels different and they all satisfy the creative itch for me. The studio itself is clean and just has really good energy. You can tell the owners and instructors genuinely care about creating a space where people feel supported. I'm looking forward to trying the other classes. Every staff member I've met so far, whether through class or front desk, have been incredibly friendly and helpful. The members here are great too! My only qualm is that there aren't markers on the floor to indicate where to put mats. So when a class is packed yogis are scattered about and the space isn't maximized.

Located conveniently next to my apartment, WYA has every kind of class I could ever need, and class sizes are smaller than in Manhattan so there is more individualized attention (and space to move!). Not to mention, this studio is way more affordable! The space is very clean, but be warned there are no changing rooms (just 2 private bathrooms). WYA has a wide variety of different yoga classes (core classes, gentle classes, classes for beginners, classes for more advanced folk) and zumba/belly dance classes to boot. Zumba is one of my favorite classes at this studio- it's a fantastic workout! All the instructors (for zumba and yoga) are super friendly, helpful, and are there to answer all questions. The studio has a very "family oriented" atmosphere among the staff and clients, and most of the instructors will remember your name. What I also enjoy about this studio, is that there are opportunities to advance in your practice. The yoga classes here take you step by step through head and hand stands and show you proper set up and form for learning more advanced moves. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking for something in New Rochelle.

Any client I bring in is impressed with how great the space looks, the breadth of equipment that is available and the friendly, no drama environment. As a renter this is one of the best environments I've ever worked with. I have had previous experiences at other rental studios where this was not the case, and it negatively impacted my business. But at Abby's studio everything is easy and well done. You can see how Abby really puts care into her studio.
