At which time I decided to move and leave the area. I moved a half hour away. Only to find out months later I am being pursued by this group that I owe my membership fees - $280...Even though I explained numerous times that I moved out of the area and that the equipment was faulty and I was not interested in continuing my membership. Recently, I was visited by a Justice of the Peace Court from Delaware, for a judgement for $300 to be paid or they will take a TV from my house of the same value. You have to be kidding me. Buyer Beware!!

Drafty, no barrier or vinyl separation so every time the door opens, it lets 30 degree temps inside. Also, heavy duty chemical use and smell inside....I was told it was so they didn't have to smell the sweat. Are you kidding me...so we have to work out in a fumigated, febreezed zone, that sets you up for blood cancer. I won't be re-newing my membership. My husband and I are looking for a bonafide, comfortable gym to work out in...not a heavily fragranced tundra.

I was worried about not being able to find the class on the beach and was relieved to see a big sign and wagon upon arriving. There are yoga mats available but chose to use my own. She also had water bottles, sunscreen and bug spray available. The class itself was so relaxing. It was very easy to follow while also being challenging in a good way. I loved the dialogue along with the stretches. Some instructors talk too much and it can take away from the relaxation. I will definitely be back next weekend.

Initially, I was concerned about using the equipment due to the busy atmosphere, but I checked in at the front desk, where I met an incredibly friendly and helpful person, likely the owner. As I explored the gym, I found a wide range of machines, cardio equipment, and free weights conveniently located throughout the facility. The dumbbell selection was particularly impressive, offering weights up to 150 pounds with 100-pound plates. Overall, OC Fit is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a comprehensive workout while in OCMD. I highly recommend it and will definitely return the next time I'm in the area. If you're looking for a great workout, OC Fit is the place to go.

I found Yoga on the Beach through Facebook. I came to OCMD recently for vacation and wanted to keep…read moreup with my regular yoga practice. Lora meets her students inside the Gateway Grand and then walks them either to the beach or in a small room when the weather is not cooperating. Unfortunately the day I attended it was raining but I was happy to hear that I could still practice inside the Gateway Grand, especially because I am not a resident of the condo community. Each class is $10 cash and it is collected at the beginning of class. There is a side street available for parking but be prepared with coins because the side street is metered. Class is on Fridays at 8:30am to approximately 9:30am. You also need a yoga mat or beach towel (I prefer a towel if I am practicing on the sand), water and sunscreen. I only had the opportunity to attend one class but it was very beginner friendly. I did not really break a sweat, but I was able to stretch, relax and meditate. During the final savasana Lora asks if you would like some essential oils sprayed on your wrists and/or an eye mask to help you relax. I choose a chamomile-lavender spray but declined the eye mask. On the website, it seems that she is expanding and offering SUP yoga. I wish I could try it out myself.
