What a great place to come for a quick, hot, and delicious meal! I can't believe I haven't come here before. I really enjoyed it and will be back again. Prices were pretty good I thought.

I've had ramen before and it smelled good and the chicken was fresh as well as tasty and hot. I tried this place due to reviews and was really excited to try their chicken ramen and chicken chow main. Beyond disappointed!!! The soup had this awful smell and I took my spoon hoping for the best. It was so salty and the oddest taste ever. Even the egg wasn't even white! Yes I've had a whole boiled egg that wasn't the color of the soup. The chicken was burnt in some parts but not even fresh. I can't eat the ramen! I tried to had steaming hot water to see if that would help and oh it did not. The chicken chow had so much soy sauce that when you took a bite of the noodles it was like taking a tsp of salt. My stomach started to hurt and my tongue going bonkers from so much salt! I wish the one place in Scottsdale which makes the best Asian food was closer to me.

Finally went into the establishment I've been meaning to stop by for a couple of months! decided to try a little bit of everything. I got tempura sushi, the stuff, jalapeños teriyaki, chicken, and chicken Ramen to go! When I got home I tried the jalapeños and they were great! I tried the shrimp tempura, and it was great. Then I tried the Ramen, and while I was stirring everything all together, I found a short black hair in it, which completely ruined my appetite. I will call the restaurant tomorrow to discuss with them. It looked very appetizing at first but hair always ruins any meal for me. Which is unfortunate because I had really high hopes

This is my go to lunch spot. I've gone around 7+ times. Each time I've ordered a different item, all are solid. Prices outside of sushi are pretty good. Really the bowls are where it's at. Ordered the orange chicken bowl and it was my favorite so far. Prices are good, food is always fast and hot. Definitely worth trying.

I wish I had gotten photos of everything else but we ate it all so fast! This place is INCREDIBLE. The service was fast and staff was friendly. They had options for new and experienced Asian cuisine goers. This is in my top 3 favorite Asian places in the valley. We 100% will be back soon!

    Teriyaki chicken and broccoli. Great!!

Food was great, rice cooked perfectly, chicken cooked where it wasn't dry like the desert, salmon was still up the river apparently because my salmon order never came. Just chicken. Why 4 stars you may ask? Well, their teriyaki sauce is really good, the chicken, though I wanted Salmon, hubby wanted chicken was also good. I just dealt with it. I ate it though...all of it. I'm not gonna bash a new restaurant because of an honest mistake. Try this place out, just make sure the Salmon are done doing their River hooplala so you can try it and tell me how it is :)

The unagi bowl barely had any eel on it, literally just a big bowl of rice with nothing else.

The noodles were great texture, the broth was super flavorful, and the sides were quite nice. I've been thinking about this meal every day since. It is a small spot, almost looks closed from the outside. There was just one server who appears to be the owner, and he was very nice and attentive. He checked in to make sure we knew how to eat the noodles properly and gently let us know when the kitchen and restaurant were closing. The croquettes were very nice, and I normally am not a huge fan of takoyaki but the octopus texture in these was nice and soft. There was not too much octopus in them though, so if that's important to you... :( Would definitely come back and probably order the exact same thing...

But when we went in, we were greeted right away by the server. He sat us down (choose your own seats). It's simple decor. But inviting. Very clean. I ordered the Tenzaru soba. It is buckwheat noodles served cold with a dipping sauce and a generous amount of shrimp and veggie tempura. The tempura was vey hot and crispy coating. They also gave us 2 gyoza and a breaded chicken on a skewer with a drizzle of Teri sauce. I enjoyed all of it. Hubby had Tempura udon. The tempura was served on the side so as not to get soggy in the udon. The broth had a good umami flavor. Noodles are thick and just right. We also ordered shrimp tempura roll, it comes with Japanese mayo on top, which we told them to not add it. Tempura was hot. It was rolled with slivers of fresh cucumber. We enjoyed and ordered another roll. All and all the flavors are authentic Japanese cooking. By the time we were done. The place did fill up. I was glad to see that. Lots of parking as it is surrounded office buildings and a pickle/fitness center.

We decided to give it a go anyway and made our outing a culinary adventure, neither of us having supped at an all-you-can eat sushi restaurant. The staff were nice and spared little time in serving up our order. We started with Miso soup that was watery. The gyozo was dry and presented poorly. We ordered a variety of nigiri sushi and, whilst it filled the hole, it wasn't anything to write home about. The green tea ice cream was tasty. Katsudon is a popular Japanese comfort dish. It seems to be getting harder and harder to find, and…read moreeven harder to find it done well. A simple dish consisting of panko breaded pork (katsu) cooked with onions, and scrambled egg in a broth made of dashi, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar, served over rice. Relatively simple to make, but often not done well. Often the broth will be too sweet, and instead of pork it will be chicken (often overdone and dry) I much prefer the pork version. Yoko's katsu bowl to me is perfection. The pork is flavorful and juicy, not fatty or full of gristle. The broth is perfectly balanced, the onions cooked but with some crispness still and the egg, just done to the point of firmness but not overcooked. Haven't had katsudon this good since I left Japan in '94. The lemon chicken was good, not overly sweet with good lemon flavor. Crab Rangoon's (crab angels on the menu) are pretty typical, cream cheese wontons but they are large and tasty. Same with the egg roll, pretty standard for Asian takeout, large portion, crispy on the outside with some crispy cabbage filling. Yoko's is my go to for my beloved Katsudon, they have an extensive menu that I want to try more of, but it will be difficult to ever not order my favorite Japanese dish of all time.

Tempura Takeover did not disappoint. We ordered outside at the food truck and they brought the food into the bar. I got the sloppy lobster burger. Hubby got two bulgogi tacos and a side of fries. There were no prices on the menu, but the total without tip was $48. My lobster burger was divine--chunks of tempura lobster, perfectly, cooked. I'm not going to guess what was in either sauce but they were both excellent and made the dish. Fries were solid. Downsides, it was about a 30 minute wait, which was clearly communicated. We got there about 5 minutes after open and there was a small line. There's probably strategy to make it go faster--get there at open or 30 to 45 minutes after. Food seemed to come out fast after the initial rush. Also, i would have liked ketchup as an option for the fries.
