I yelled at my cousin and the guy working asked if I wanted to try a sample lol. Definitely did, it was delicious! This location is open till midnight. It was super clean inside. The topping bar was fully stocked and clean. And the guy working was friendly and acknowledged that we were there. We had a $2 off coupon for a purchase over $5. Total came out to almost $7. I am crushing hard on frozen yogurt right now. Many long runs or hard training sessions are followed by a frozen yogurt reward. It's my one real splurge and I'm not embarrassed to admit it. This location gets really busy but don't let it deter you because the people working here keep it extremely clean and are constantly restocking the topping bar. They are always friendly and they always have a full selection of froyos without any broken machines. My current fave is the red velvet cake swirled with pistachio, such an odd combo yet so good. read more

This is a fairly new location and personally I don't think it gets as crowded as the Monterey park locations and it's closer to me so I like going here. I've been here weeknights at 9:30pmish and there was never a line. I went on a Friday night at 9:30pm though and the line was out the door! I waited through it though. Gets pretty messy when it's crowded though with fruit and stuff on the floor in front of the toppings bar. I like how it's near the restaurants though so you eat dinner and then get yogurtland! I love Yogurtland and it's prefect for a hot summer day. This Yogurtland on Washington is the one closest to me. Lately, being as I'm 32 weeks pregnant, I've been craving yogurt very often. Twice I went to this place and their original tart flavor machine was down so I ended up settling for other flavors. Today I was craving some original tart again so I tried to do my due diligence by calling ahead and asking if the original tart flavor machine was up and running. The girl over the phone assured me that the flavor was working, she explained that sometimes the machines freeze and that's why they go down. I understood her explanation so I asked again to be sure that at this moment the original tart flavor was working and she said she was sure it was working. I went in 20 minutes later and tried to pour the original tart flavor and of course the machine was down! I asked the girl if the flavor was working and she said yes from behind the counter. I asked her to come help me serve the flavor and the said it wasn't working. I threw my cup away and walked out not wanting to settle for another flavor again since my carvings are so specific these days. I wish the girl on the phone had actually checked the flavor before assuring me that it was working. I guess my third time was not the charm! read more

Two stars is generous when I take into account the slow check out, feeling claustrophobic next to that glass and no useful traffic pattern to speak of. there needs to be a bypass to that ridiculous topping bar. There was this one tall girl that stood out as the only competent one I've dealt with. She was pleasant and timely. Not sure if she still works there. Even though it greatly frustrates me to go there and put up with annoying children and their rude parents, I like the product and will continue to enjoy it. The atmosphere is really nice, the frozen yogurt is really good too! They have a really decent selection of yogurt flavors to choose from and the toppings are always neat, organized and readily available. My only gripe with this place is that sometimes the tables smell like a wet dog. It seems the rag they use to clean the tables is dirty sometimes and leaves a funny mildew smell, which is really unappealing while you eat there. If the tables smell when I go here, I usually just end up eating my yogurt outside in the patio area. Ok I don't frequent all the other trendy Yogurt places so I'm not an authority on saying which one is best but I was really impressed when I went to Yogurtland for the first time. First of all, you are given a pretty vast selection of different flavors to choose from. You have traditional flavors from vanilla, chocolate and strawberry to more exotic like Taro and Pistachio. Now for the toppings. Where do I begin? There are so many I don't even know which ones to choose!! One of the dilemmas I'm always faced with is, do I go with a theme/combination or do I just mix and match whatever I feel like having at the moment? Usually I go with a basic chocolate, rasberry/strawberry combination. The great thing about this place is YOU have the option of customizihg and choosing your own combination of flavors and toppings. Also, I like the fact that you have control (or lack of control) of deciding how much you want to get. I also noticed that even though the place just opened it is always clean and well stocked. They are never out of flavors or toppings. One final thought, if I were Baskin Robbins which is almost next door to this place I'd start sweating bricks and start doing something about winning back all those customers that they lost to Yogurtland. The toppings are delicious, but this is the 2nd time in a row I have been here and they are out of marshmallow toppings! It's disappointing especially when you have a craving for marshmallows. Also! Tonight was my first time to try Yogurtland and I must say I had the best experience ever. I was helped by Jessica who recommended me to try the honey dew and the banana toffee which were both very flavorful. There are so many flavors to choose from so it took a while to narrow down my choices. If you're ever in the Montebello area and are craving for yogurt, then this is the place to go to. Out of all the Yogurtlands around, I love this location. There's always ample amounts of parking, because it's in a shopping plaza. This location is always clean, and they a lot of different flavors. Great thing - they change their flavor quite often, so it's rare for one to return to all the same flavors. Their fruits are always fresh, and everything is always refilled as soon as it even looks a tiny bit depleted. There's a bunch of outdoor seating, with a waterfall and, at night, these two tower things are lit on fire, so it's nice here. It's also next to some food places, a Starbucks, and a Baskin Robbins, so there's variety if you have finished with your froyo and decide, hell, you're going to have ice cream, too. read more

Hands down, Yogurtland has the best Tart flavored yogurt EVER. You are always greeted by the friendly cashiers, the place itself is very clean and bright, and very colorful. I love it. I don't care if it's storming outside, I'd still have me a nice cup of yogurt. This location is the only location I have found to have a greek yogurt drink! Sooo delicious! The greek yogurt drink is still new to yogurtland and I don't think any other location has this yet. I highly recommend trying the greek yogurt drinks. You can add some what looks to be a fruit puree to the greek yogurt to add some sweetness as the greek yogurt is tart. The yogurt is not very tjick in substance. It is more of a liquid but fills you up. One cup is about 14oz. Please, stop by and get some greek yogurt! I do hope they start putting this yogurt in other areas too. There should have been more thought into the demographic when choosing the location for adding greek yogurt. Maybe good locations include Yogurtlands next to the coastal areas and whole food markets. read more

I've given this location so many chances because I go to the LA Fitness across the street but last night was the last straw. I get it, sometimes it gets busy but that doesn't mean you should be rude to customers. The girl working the cash register, Sevina, I believe washer name was very rude. She had zero customer service and looked as if she didn't want to be there. I kindly asked for a sample cup to try the new summer flavors and she said "You could grab it in the middle" when there were people paying I couldn't get to it. A customer in line even went ahead and passed me one because Sevina wasn't kind enough to reach over and hand one to me. Plus the toppings were non existent and super messy. Yogurtland is awesome. Many yogurtlands dont know what flavors to put together so you can combine then with the middle lever..this one does on at least 3 so that's a plus for me. Topping selection are good. The place is clean. Never had experience with broken or down flavors so I've been lucky. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed. The staff was all in the back, they did come out to offer sample cups & then would return to the back again. Every time I've bothered to drive here instead of going to the nicer one at Downey Gateway, which is closer to my home, I've encountered broken machines and less than fresh toppings. I've never witnessed any employees cleaning or servicing the machines--I've even had to point out the various non-working machines to them! This place is trash, took my kids to enjoy something cold in this hot weather. We grabbed our cups and headed to the cashier to pay, waited over 5 mins because somebody's card wasn't going through, when It was my turn to pay I was told they were not accepting cards only cash, I didn't have cash on me only my phone to pay with Apple Pay, my husband did have an old 10 dollar bill that he had saved in his wallet, the total was $10 something so I gave her $11 and she was like why does that bill look like that? I said because it's old but is not fake, she said nope I won't accept it. I told her I didn't have other way to pay and she just grabbed the cups and threw them in the trash right in front of my kids!!!! Like seriously?? This is by far the best yogurtland i've been to in 19 years, the employees are nice and theres a particular employee who was very nice and helped me out i believe his name started with a "C", But first i wanna start off with his service which was top notch, when i entered the door he smiled and greeted me when i walked in and I was immediately impressed by the speed of service he helped me with, i was in and out of there in 5 minutes flat.
