The woman who seems to be a manager is very rude. I went to the register with a previous receipt that entailed a survey I completed online. I clearly showed her the survey code that is eligible for free 3 oz yogurt. She kept denying it was the wrong code and was very adamant about it. I had even saved the screen shot of the survey. She eventually gave me the discount but I felt very disturbed after paying. I will probably not visit the store again. read more

I went tonight to the Woodland Hills location for plain tart for myself, my mom, and my 4 year old ( had him with me). The machine wasnt working and when I asked all he said was sorry its not working. This is 20 minutes before closing so it just felt like he didnt care to help me. So my 4 year old and I left there and headed over to this location (Reseda and Victory) and both machines stopped working. When I told them it wasnt working the employee (I didnt catch his name) went in back and went out of his way to make sure we got plain yogurt. First machine didnt work after he tried so he then fixed the second one. I really appreciate it when people go out of their way to be kind and helpful. I wont go to Woodland Hills location anymore, I will drive the few extra miles to go to Reseda. We buy frozen yogurt for our family every week and spend a good amount. Great Place! Always a lot of different flavors and the cheapest yogurt I've found in the valley.

I advise you to take an extra few minutes and drive to Menchies on Ventura Blvd for yogurt. The layout of Yogurtland makes it impossible for the employees to see what's happening near the cups and yogurt dispensers. I've seen kids stick their fingers in the spouts, lick them and then stick it in another spout. Just now I watched a bunch of kids take big cups and put their hands inside. Then their mother told them to put the big cups back and get smaller ones. The next customers in line are going to have cups that have been man handled by nose picking brats. Just gross. read more

I went in to use my free birthday ounces and she charged me full price without applying the discount because she didn't know what she was doing! Then whoever the cowardly manager was didn't even come out from the back to try and help her! I was very disappointed in this trip and poor customer service! read more

I love u yogurtland and my co workers can attest to that!!! I don't come to u often even... I'd like to come everyday and gobble u up but a lady needs to think of the figure... When I do grace u with my presence I get te coconut pistachio or strawberry and Dutch chocolate.. I MUST add the coconut flakes and condensed milk or else it's just no quite right... The tall guy at the cashier is always sweet and u can try he is always trying to please the customers... Lol... I just remember that the last time I went in and was paying, both males a shirts were red in the face and sweating their asses off, obviously something was wrong w the AC... When customers were asking if the AC was broken, they'd both look at each oter and say,"no, nothing's wrong w the AC"... It made me giggle out loud seeing little sweat pockets on their shirts and very red in the face from the heat but not wanting to say, yeah it's friggin 112 degrees out today and we think the AC went to shit... I love Yogurt-Land and I'm a loyal customer that is there every weekend. However, the customer service at this location is non-existent and I am very disappointed and never coming back. I went there today excited and looking forward to my Rainy Day Special (buy one get one free at equal or lesser value), but only to leave disappointed and upset. I was under the impression that this Rainy Day Special was an all-day thing because that is what an employee told me. I called around 1 PM today after the rain stopped (which the rain had stopped at 8 AM) and specifically asked if the special is good considering that it is no longer raining, to which the employee said "Yes that the rainy day special would be honored all-day even though it was no longer raining." But, to my dismay when I go to pay the male cashier (don't know his name) rudely said that he cannot give me the special because it was not raining. I explained to him what the previous employee had told me, but still without any regard or understanding to the fact that I had been told this by one of his colleagues still insensitively said he cannot give me the Special. I asked for the supervisor, so he goes to get the supervisor. I explained it to this supervisor named Cristian which he looked like a very young High School student without any customer service training/skills said he cannot give me the special because it was not raining. I mean he sounded like a robot and just had no understanding of what it means to listen, understand, empathize, and problem-solve with a customer. He didn't even apologize for the misunderstanding/miscommunication or even try to work something else out. A good business is a business that tries to understand the customer, empathize, and work something reasonable out so the customer feels heard and validated about their concerns. But, this location lacks it tremendously. And, this is not the first time that I have encountered an issue here. The other time when I was paying I showed my rewards card too late after I gave my credit card, so they rudely said that they cannot add my points to my rewards card because it was too late. That's fine I understand logistics, but again it's about communication and understanding the customer. Simply put, the workers here don't even have the basics of customer service: eye contact, smile, and greeting. I am truly disappointed and thinking twice about EVER visiting a Yogurt-Land again. read more

This place rocks. I love the yogurt. They always have new flavors to try as well as my favorite flavors, Pistacio, Cheesecake, Chocolate and Strawberry. Yum. Its also less expensive than Menchies. I love the self-serve machines. I find the staff is friendly. They greet and welcome you as you walk in. They give out sample cups to everyone that wants them. I find the store is clean and well kept, including the bathroom. My only complaint is that they are always so crowded. We come here with our entire family at least twice a month. I highly recommend it. No wait....stay away. More for me. read more

When you come in expect to get greeted and offered sample cups. The employees are really nice. The store is much cleaner than other yogurtlands i've been to plus it's pretty small but it does get good business! They have great flavors and are 35 cents an ounce! You go in and make your own yogurt basically choosing the flavors and deciding if you'd like a sweet or healthy treat by their various choice of toppings. I usually stop by weekend nights sometimes and get helped by a tall young man or different young ladies on register at times one has a grey shirt others with green but regardless they are always there to help! read more

This place is poorly managed and maintained. The Hispanic manager there is rude and unscrupulous. She comes up with excuses to refuse to honor your coupon code,saying that the customer needs to complete the phone survey in 30 days and use the coupon code in 30 days. When asked for corporate office phone number, she refused to provide the information. Another customer, see Isacc U.'s review, also had the same bad experience with the rude manager who kept on denying the coupon code even when he completed his survey. Customers have a right to voice their complaints when they are poorly treated. The discount offer on the receipt did not state in writing or even over the phone's survey hotline that you must complete the survey in 30 days in order to be able to get the coupon code accepted at the store. Never had this problem at other stores. Even after I entered the visit date over the phone, the survey hotline accepted the date and provided a coupon code at the end of the survey. No where does it say in writing on the receipt or via the survey hotline that you (the customer) must obtain the coupon code the same month that you visited the store, or that you must complete the survey the same month in order to get the coupon code accepted at the store. Yogurtland's policy is shady and not clearly conveyed to customers. There was no expiration date mentioned on the survey hotline or printed on the receipt about the coupon code expiring in 30 days. This rude manager speaks broken English and expects customers to understand and agree with her sketchy tactics to prevent customers from using the coupon codes. The manager refused to honor the coupon code but only reluctantly replaced the melted yogurt (at my suggestion after a lengthy argument with her). This store's policy is not transparent and the customer service can only be described as dishonest and hostile. This is misleading marketing practice and substandard business practice. The service at this place has deteriorated over time. If you arrive on certain days, unsupervised kids lick their fingers and poke their fingers to catch some leftover dripping yogurt from the dispensers.There are globs of yogurt dripping on the bottom tray and the handles to dispense the yogurt are sticky. Numerous times, some of the adult customers stick their fingers in the yogurt dispensers to get leftover yogurt drips from the dispensers after they've already licked their fingers. Some customers even lick their fingers and use the "same hand" to operate the yogurt dispenser. The employees there don't regularly keep the dispenser handles or grill clean. At other times, customers can be seen using their already tasted sample cups to refill extra sample yogurt. It's unsanitary, which can contaminate and transfer oral diseases to other customers. Other people's saliva and germs can easily spread from one person to another. Overall, it was awful service and experience that could not be ignored. read more
