Locally owned Parisian bakery cafe and not a franchise. Owners, Maximus and Ella were inspired after a trip to Paris which help them to achieve this. Cafe is located downtown near cross street: N Freya Street and E Sprague Street. Next to European Delicatessen and Carpet Barn. This is a modern French bakery which offers a wide selection of bakery sweets and goodies: -Macarons Ice cream -Assorted teas -Italian sodas -Occasional drink flights (summer/valentine, etc) -Chai tea -Lattes -Gelato -Sorbetto -Specialty Hot chocolate **Too many drinks and pastries to list. They make everything organically. The menu is a good sized menu. There were so much to select from. My niece decided on the Tiramisu which she loved. I enjoyed it too. I decided on crème brûlée. It was as they say in French "C'est magnifique!" LOL! I also had jasmine peach tea which was good. My daughter, Kaylah visited 12/15/25 and ordered strawberry Italian soda and almond croissant. She enjoyed both. The workers were really nice and helpful. This place has a very large interior. It's clean and bright. I'm excited to try other items on the menu.

There were people drinking wine while playing games and enjoying fresh baked goods. I had a turkey sandwich on fresh bread with a delicious slaw and avocado. My brother had a ham and cheese on a croissant. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. It was a lovely place to hang out during a medical procedure. It is definitely walkable from cancer care northwest, which is a bonus.

The Grain Shed does a farm to table model and is a bakery and brewery. I got a snack here along with a beer and left quite satisfied. I got a Grilled Cheese Sandwich on some of their house made bread with some Cheddar, Swiss and Provolone cheese. The exact name for this sandwich is the Cheesy Toastie. And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.

The zucchini chocolate muffin was tasty, the almond poppy seed bread was lovely, and the vanilla latte was so good it rounded out the meal perfectly. Experience/Service: the place is cute cute cute! The service was top-notch, friendly, and genuine. Food: wow! A bakery this truly is. I had the opportunity to try several types of scones and some sort of almond roll and it was all delicious. I especially loved the lemon-blueberry scone and I normally don't even like lemon. If I had been in town more than 2 days I would have gone more. Price: normally I don't mention this because prices are in the eye of the beholder. But compared to my native SoCal the prices here were $1-2 less per drink. A latte and a huge home-baked scone for $10? Wouldn't happen elsewhere. So bravo for keeping prices reasonable. Loved visiting Spokane and this was a key part of my experience in the South Hill.
