Enjoyed some really good food! Greeted when we entered. Seated right away. Beautiful warm welcoming restaurant. Menu is plentiful with a lot of tempting choices. We had a Chicken Burrito with chili verde and Chicken Mole plate. Portion size is great! Food was served hot and it was absolutely delicious! The burrito had a lot of well cooked chicken. First time to Yoli's MG, very cool decorations as you walk in, a polite young lady was on break and took time to welcome us to an open table. After a few minutes our waiter came and ask if we were ready. My wife had a Carne asada plate and I had the enchilada breakfast plate that came with beans and eggs on top. ( I am a Fan of over easy eggs with enchiladas, grew up having that as a favorite) of course I ordered my eggs that way. Our waiter repeated the orders but did not say over easy egg! So I checked before he walked away and he confirmed OEE! The meal came her plate looked and smells great as did mine. The salsa that accompanied the meal was outstanding a mild green and fiery red! As I cut into my meal instantly I could see the hard cooked eggs and was disappointed. Took the dried yolks off put them on the corner of my square plate where they laid for the rest of time. Continued to eat the rest of my meal and did enjoy the enchiladas had my beans put to a side dish and they were good. The meal was finished and never a check by our waiter! As another employee stops by to clear the table. He shows up and so I point out the hard egg yolks. He ask to take to the kitchen and says " they give me hard time when tell about eggs" ( the only harder than my egg yolks was believing him). Finally went here! And was pleasantly surprised. First of all, their chips are salsa are not free but it's the first time I understand why. They're sooo good! I'll definitely pay for another round. Their food portion is big as well. Food wasn't bad at all. I'd go back and try something else. Their drink however (I had a watermelon drink) was not good at all. Unfortunately horrible service! I enjoy coming here with my family as the food and drinks are amazing but was dinning in this morning around 9:30am and the server was not polite or considerate at all!!! I have a medical condition which doesn't allow me to eat big portions, so ordering small portions off the kids menu is never a problem as I have done so here at Yoli's before but today the server would not allow it and wouldn't even acknowledge my medical card proving my condition. Every time we eat here it's close to 5-8 people so spending money on a normal size plate isn't the issue. It was unfortunate to be denied a meal simply because I didn't want to order a big plate and waste food considering i can't even finish the kids portion. We will not be back which saddens me because this is our go to when catching up with family and friends :( read more

Then the waiter immediately tried to take our order we asked for a couple mins and she walked to the kitchen and back to our table in less than no exaggeration 2 mins! The ambiance here is terrific. I feel Like I'm in a Mexican resort somewhere in the Caribbean. The place is clean and the staff are courteous. They played good music as well. We stopped here for dinner before going to a concert in downtown Riverside. Just me and the wife on a little date. The drinks here are on point and the aqua the sandia is amazing... It Reminded me of my grandmas aqua de sandia. Now the food is authentic and superb. I had the fish tacos with everything in it and on a flour tortilla. Some Of the best that I have had. Not to many good fish tacos out there. My wife had the chicken enchiladas that were made in a tangy sauce, they were also very good. The beans and rice were tasty and so was the salsa. The draw back on this place is that they charge you for the salsa and chips. It should be complimentary and mandatory. It's a Mexican restaurant. Also they charge you for the salsa after the third refill and the salsa bowls are tiny. I did not like that. But, besides that the food is authentic and they take pride in their flavors. Next time, I will get the mole. That was the whole reason I went there. To eat the mole plate. But changed my mind at the last minute and ordered the fish tacos. Yoli's Mexican Grill is a nice restaurant located right at Magnolia Ave, in a newer zone. Lucky for us we found parking in the street, but I learned later on that there is parking in the back of the building. The decoration is great, love their traditional and modern Mexican accents. The restaurant has tinted windows, which helps a lot with the heat. We were greeted as soon as we arrived (after lunch hour) and we were seated in a comfortable table. Then we ordered beverages: a beer and a mango margarita, delicious Then we ordered our food: Huevos Rancheros and pechuga asada salad. Both very tasty, good portions at a decent price. I really wanted to give this place a second chance after a bad first experience, but it's just not worth it. I ordered chilaquiles and specifically asked for over-easy eggs and no onions. The eggs came out completely well done, and they added onions anyway. On top of that, the food was cold, it didn't come with sour cream like it should have, and then they charged us extra for the sour cream. For the price they charge, I expected at least the basics to be done right, but the cooks clearly don't know what they're doing. Two visits, both disappointing. El cafe de olla was cold , but as soon as they gave me my chilaquiles ala Diabla the tortilla chips and salsa was extremely cold like it wasn't heated at all . Service was okay wasn't attended as quick as the group ahead of us. Was told the wait is 15 minutes by one of the waiters and didn't even brother to ask if we wanted to be put in the waitlist. Where do I start... Ok first of all I had to check all the reviews and some were doozies. All I have to say is that everyone has different food pallets so the comments made to Yolis should not reflect the food and the ambience that I and other foodies enjoyed! My wife had the Chilaquiles Verdes... prepared to her liking. I had the Pozole with all the fixings. Let me tell you the flavors coming out of all the food was exceptionally good. Like I said before it all depends on your pallet. The servers were very attentive and deserve more credit for trying their best to accommodate your needs. I Have tried the Carne Asada Fries they were the best ones I have ever tasted loaded with so much meat really a must try. I also tasted the Carne en su Jugo by far the best authentic recipe. This is the 2nd time I dine here and my last. I ordered cucumber water and I asked the hostess the level of sweetness and she stated that she didn't know she hadn't tried it instead of offering to try a sample or asking staff. She brings out the drink and it is a sweet as an ice cube. So when the waiter came to take my order, I informed him that the drink was too sweet and I'd like a cup of water w lemon and he appeared not to happy about it as he remained silent. I also asked the hostess what was the special of the day? She did not understand the content of the question as though it was difficult to answer. She stated everything is special every day I asked again, but what is the special of the day and she answered the same. I did not know how else to ask her if there was a special price for meals. I then asked the waiter what is a plate he can recommend and he mole sauce. He stated I could place the mole on burritos, enchiladas, chilaquiles. I then informed him that I would like two cheese enchiladas with that sauce. He brings out a plate. I began to eat and realized that enchiladas were chicken. When he returned to the table and I asked him I had ordered cheese enchiladas he then explained that the cheese enchiladas did not go with the mole sauce. I had an unpleasant experience with the service here at this restaurant. The waiter did not offer for me to try a new plate or order something else. He just said OK I'll take it off the order. The hostess acted sarcastically because she saw that I had not eaten the food and asked me if I was doing OK not offering to bring me something new or something different. She proceeded to call me endearing names in Spanish as I'm walking out. If you dine here please make sure they get your order right or you gonna be upset like me paying for chips and beans and rice management should look into this. It's not funny. They have the place decorated really nice. It was me and my wife; we were warmly greeted upon entry. We placed our orders and found a table and sat down. Once at the table, we waited 30 mins for our food to be brought us, and when it arrived, it was nothing special. I've had Chipotle better than this place. They offer "shots" that are packed with sugar and no alcohol. The service was terrible after we had made a comment about the food being cold. Asada need more flavor the chilaquiles tortilla chips stale and made the chilaquiles worst. The sauce they used tasted like salsa el pato from a can. Because the Mexican rice and chilaquiles taste the same, no cheese on the chilacquiles. For 17 plate I thought they would pay more attention to the small details.
