I came here with a friend and it was good but definitely don't know if I'd make it a regular visit. They had an increase of popularity from a local food vlogger & I believe that caused the prices to increase with their sushi tacos. I was really excited for those and they were good but it was misleading because they hadn't changed the menu. The bulgogi was really good & the Tteokbokki was also good! The gyoza was a skip for me personally but still good & crunchy. The service was good, the woman was very kind & apologetic when she messed up our bill situation. Overall, good experience

Flame sushi, and I mean FLAME. The color and freshness of the fish made a big impression, plus really nice, pure flavors. Service was ok. The interior is dark with a blend of table and bar seating. The bathrooms, however, leave much to be desired. I requested a custom roll- a spicy salmon lovers roll *deep fried in tempura* with salmon on top and no eel sauce. The chef took all my directions and executed it perfectly. I'll be going back for sure. Sad I missed the lunch special- I'll be trying the bento box next!

Mid range review tbh. I got carry out from here and the sushi tacos were amazing but the roll I got was just ok. I feel the price, crunch factor and the actual stuff in the sushi tacos is what made it so incredibly delicious and honestly if I ate like 6 of them that could be a meal. The sushi roll was less impressive and I expected more. I know it's take out sushi but there are so many other places that would provide better fish and roll quality for the same price or cheaper. I will return for the sushi tacos... maybe not anything else

I love this little place for a quick, delicious meal! It's close to my house, there's never a parking problem and you can order from a kiosk for takeout. My favorite order is California Shrimp Roll and Shrimp Ebi. The seafood is super fresh and the accompanying veggies are crisp and the avocado creamy. You get a good size portion for the price and it is very fast for takeout. I've not eaten in the restaurant yet, but the atmosphere seems chill. The staff that bring out the carryout are very friendly - Highly recommend!!

Stopped in here for lunch and they have a very large menu! We got the sushi tacos which were different but good. We ordered salmon on the salmon, firecracker roll, and salmon on the beach all were great! It's not super large inside so definitely would get packed and not ideal for large groups.

Special roll came with the bento box lunch (see other pic- HUGE!)

This place is a wonderful find! I had no idea it was here- and the strip mall around it will give you second thoughts- but definitely stop The lunch special, a huge bento box of raw fish, tempura veg, grilled chicken and salad, also came with a special roll for $25- it's enough for two ppl- I had the tuna poke bowl which was beautiful and way underpriced Excellent waiter also This is my new stop for the area

I don't remember the names, but they were good.

Ambience, none. Location, meh, in a dying strip shopping center. But the food here is very good and we were highly impressed. Also the service was excellent. We ordered several sushi rolls, including Caterpillar. But the thing we loved most was the noodle dish, Yakitori Udon. It was phenomenal! It had vegetables and fish cakes in it, with a kind of charred taste that was delicious. It was a big surprise and was definitely the star of the night. It would be easy to miss this place as it's tucked away amid so many stores that are closed in this center. But if you live in the area, or are passing through, you won't be disappointed. Prices were also surprisingly low.

Food is exceptional at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, they are not prepared for tbe popularity of the tiktok notariaty. They ars ocerwhelmed and unorganized, at the patrons expense. Thhe ambiance suffers too. Exchange of dirty dished in front of tsbles as water splashes, dirty sticky table, long wait organized by customers. My being returned to wait although I was the first customer on the list. Too Much. I hope they pull it together, the food was terrific.

Took my Manager here from Toronto, he told me he's never had sushi this good & fresh. * Salmon on the Salmon Roll * Tuna Paradise Roll

Took my manager here from Toronto, he said it's the best sushi he's ever had. Small and simple setting.

I went with my daughter and we had an absolutely amazing dinner. The cucumber-wrapped California rolls were so fresh and flavorful that I ended up buying three more to take home. I also picked up a sashimi combo for my husband--though it's not in the photo, he loved it so much that it made me really happy. My daughter enjoyed edamame, agedashi tofu, dumplings, and udon, and her smile never faded when they brought her a complimentary drink. Since I'm a fan of spicy food, I had the jjamppong, which was perfectly satisfying. The next day for lunch, I enjoyed the rolls and spicy crab salad I had bought the day before--they were so delicious that I forgot to take a picture until I had a couple of bites. Definitely recommend this place!

Ambiance has always stayed the same: cute, cozy, and so comfortable. Now that the booths were removed and they only have regular table seating, service is a bit different (you order at the front or at the kiosk instead of someone taking your order), but I actually love how it all works! From an operational standpoint, I feel like it actually makes things go smoother and faster. Additionally, I don't know if it's just because I haven't had their sushi in a bit, but I felt like their portion sizes actually increased slightly (which is always amazing)!! Love love LOVEEE their sushi and hearty miso soup so much. Great selection of drinks from the fridge inside, and so many vegetables, fish, snacks, and essentials (e.g., hair care, toothpaste).

The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out. I've seen a lot of posts on social media and it's bringing in an even greater crowds, which is fantastic! Note: the on-line ordering is also so convenient and their sushi platters are high-level!

The menu is strong but limited, which I kind of like- limits decision fatigue, especially after a long day. I ordered the nigiri combo, for the cause. Nigiri is something I've only really gotten into this year, so I'm not an expert, but I know what I like and what I don't. Soft, sticky rice that feels fresh and adhesive but not clumpy, fresh smelling and looking fish. The California roll was a California roll. The nigiri was great however. The shrimp in particular was light and almost creamy tasting? I know that sounds odd but I mean it in a good way. The rest of the fish was good. I even tried eel (this is big for me) for the cause! It was rich and fatty, but not in an unpleasant way as I feared. It was pleasantly sauced, so I was able to try it sans soy sauce and was pleased! I *really* liked the soy sauce here, although they don't give you very much. They also are a bit stingy with the ginger. This was my first time trying tamago, which is a delicately sweetened egg roll stuffed with rice. If you're not used to it, you have to get over the look and just go for it! It's yummy! The restroom was clean but smelled faintly of cigarettes. To be honest... I didn't mind that. It kind of fit with the vibe and gave the restaurant a "real" "edgy" feel, although some people may not appreciate it. The interior is kind of messy and unkempt, but if you keep your eyes on the prize- the food- you'll leave happy!

Walking in should have told us what the experience would be, but I chalked it up to being a beautiful day and people probably cooking out instead of going out to eat. NOBODY there but us. Starting off, the waitress was extremely rude. Brother asked if he could get a bento box and she said yes, three bento boxes. Had to kindly clarify that myself and my husband were still looking at the menu and didn't want a bento box. She rolled her eyes and stomped away. I ended up with chicken teriyaki and tempura combination. My husband got the beef teriyaki and rice. My chicken was AWFUL, sliced super thin but it was extremely tough to chew and would not grind to small pieces. The tempura shrimp was super rubbery and I felt like I was chewing on a balloon. Both items I ended up basically swallowing whole because they would not reduce no matter how much I chewed. Now onto the worst item. My husbands teriyaki beef. He has been spitting and vomiting since we got home. He said it was really tough but it tasted ok. It had a lot of sauce on it so maybe that masked the rot. Only good thing was the miso soup, but you'd have to really try hard to ruin that. I would NEVER go back here. Between the extremely rude waiters and the awful food this place needs to be shut down.

About 10 minutes later, I paid for and got my meal. At least I could watch Fish TV since they don't have a live tank. When I got home, I found instead of tempura shrimp in the middle, it had that crab salad filling. Rest was normal dragon roll. Not impressed with it, average at best and that is being kind.
