This place is a small pizza/sub shop that also serves ice cream. We ate in. We had the hard cider bbq pizza and a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla with a couple cans of local beer. Everything was very good, large portions so we were able to bring the leftovers home. Lots of fun looking items on the menu. We will definitely be back for takeout. read more

We had a cheese pizza and a pepperoni/bacon pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The service was great. Cashier was friendly and helpful as we were clearly new. I heard him talk to several regulars as we sat and ate. About a dozen indoor and a dozen outdoor seats. A few local canned alcohol options, canned THC options, as well all multiple canned sodas and a couple other drinks. Also had gelato, custard, and ice cream although we didn't try it. Prices seemed a little expensive, but not outrageous. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent pizza and worth a stop if shopping at kittery or coming up i95. Call ahead as it is cooked to order! Gluten free pizza uses a cheese like crust and is very good. Very fresh ingredients. I'm Still on my search for NY style pizza. After reading most of the plethora of positive reviews mentioning pizza & thin crust, I had high hopes. When I first try out a pizza place new to me, I keep it simple, small plain cheese pizza. I called ahead to order. It sounded very busy as I waited for the woman to return to the phone. That, I thought, was a good sign. The pizza was ready 10 minutes sooner than they'd estimated which was nice. I immediately took a picture of the beautiful Looking pie. Aside from some visible burn marks on part of the pizza, the presentation was wonderful! It looked like it'd taste great. I could tell before the first bite that this is not NY style pizza but rather a version of Greek pizza, with the narrow, very crispy crust. As soon as I bit down for the first time I was sorely disappointed. It was like accidentally biting into a piece of decorative fruit by accident, jarring. I'd hoped that the lack of flavor had something to do with it being piping hot. I waited but much to my dismay there was zero flavor except the overwhelming kick of burned bread. I don't normally bring/send food back but I knew that I'd otherwise have to throw away the entire $15 small pizza so I asked them to make me a new one. The lady was very gracious as I apologized for my request & she even offered to bring my new pizza out to my car when it was done. The second pizza was finished right away and it was brought to me in my car. It looks like it's cooked well done this time but not burned this time. The flavor was still absent. If I eat the leftovers, I'll have to add a lot of salt, pepper and grated cheese to make it worth it. read more

We found this place on the Yelp app. It's a small place with four or five tables. Mostly a take out place. We ordered a bacon and hamburg pizza which was loaded with toppings. The DO NOT skimp! Lots of flavor. The dough is terrific and not much of a flop. Under carriage was nice. Got an order of garlic bread which was large and tasty! Maybe the best topping pizza on the seacoast! Stopped back this year, for sandwiches and salads for lunch. The Caesar Padini was fantastic, as was the regular Caesar side salad. The hot Italian on flatbread was out of this world good as well.. Another year, another great visit. read more

This place is small and the pizza oven made it warm on a summer day but the food is AMAZING! My husband and I both got sandwiches and they were delicious! We can't wait to go back and try other sandwiches and the pizza. The service was nice and the beer was cold. We will definitely be back! We went back a second time and had two personal pizzas and garlic cheese bread. My husband and I both loved our pizzas and the personal size is a good value for the cost. I had the white pizza bacon feta and asparagus so unique and yummy and my husband had a personal pizza built with bacon and pineapple. The garlic and cheese bread sticks were more than enough to share in the smallest size and the marinara dip that came with it was so yummy with chunky pieces of tomato in it- could've eaten it with a spoon it was so yummy! Walked in one night and no one was seated eating in. I asked to be seated to eat there and we were told any food would take 50-55 minutes because they were busy making takeout orders. I'm sorry, I thought people dining in take priority? Anyway, we placed the order to go. She said 50 minutes. I was back in 40 and my food was already sitting there getting cold. By the time I got home, the pizza was barely warm. This is what happens when kids run your restaurant and the owner is busy with his other establishments. Do better. read more

The best pizza around! We had a large 4 cheese pizza with four vegetarian additions. It was very tasty and the crust was thin enough. Our only critical comment is that the pizza was too heavy on salt and a little too much garlic for our taste, but still very good. read more

She asked me To hold on while she checked. The man she checked with was rude and disrespectful to her, as I could hear the conversation. He yelled at her "absolutely not, that Oder will take All our oven space, tell her no. We will run out of dough." He didn't take Our order, which is fine. My objection was how rude he was to the young woman answering the phones. Quite a range of menu offerings and the food was delicious!!! Sorry I don't have photos to post but we were so impressed and hungry we devoured it all without thinking about a photo - lol. The only reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 was the lack of ambiance. Service was spot on though and it always makes the meal better when you know staff is happy and friendly. Went for the first time for lunch today -- honestly one of the best tuna sandwiches I've ever had. Joe also let me sample their new custard which was incredible... bought some to keep in the freezer for after dinner but it barely survived the car ride home. Last year I enjoyed York 54 for this pizza (highly recommend) but this year after eating out so much I really wanted a salad. I know, weird. But the salad did not disappoint! I got the Cesar salad with chicken and prosciutto and a flat bread. Holy cow. Amazing. The dressing was homemade (the croutons too I think) and it was FULL of toppings. And the flat bread was delicious. There was so much salad that I had leftovers for the following night. My partner got a sandwich that looked amazing and he really enjoyed. This is a great stop that is sure to please everyone!! read more

I live in the New York Metro area - a place known for great pizza. I am also on a gluten-free diet and blessed to have pizzerias near me who make GF pizza. That all aside, the Four Cheese Gluten Free Pizza with Pepperoni I just had from York 54 was the best pizza I've had in years. OUTSTANDING! My wife had the Summer Garden pizza and my twin sons both had the Southwest Quesadilla and likewise thought they were great. I also recommend the Sriracha wings! read more

If you like be treated as if you are a burden on someone's time, order from York 54. I live in town and have been here no less than 5 times. I leave upset every time. The pizza is good. Priced about twice as much as it should be, but tasty none-the-less. My issue is with the front of house staff (the bakers are actually quite friendly). Anyway, I am done with this place after going in 12 minutes early for my pizza that was ordered for 5:30. I walked in at 5:18 to see it sitting on the warmer. The last time I ordered they told me 30 minutes so I went in 25 minutes later to find my pizza cold and the staff rude once again. read more

You're going to think I'm prone to hyperbole but I'm not. This is one of the best little restaraunts I've ever been to. It's just a little flatbread and salad place--just a step up from takeout. Everything I've had is delicious. Feta, asparagus and bacon pizza was delicious--good bacon. The blue cheese apple flatbread is fantastic. I think about it when I'm in Florida. The peach and berry and greens salad was very fresh and excellent, as was another specialty salad with pistachios and something else. Homemade dressing was light and perfectly pulled the salad together. You're going to want to try this--the salads even impress my husband who usually insists that "a salad is a salad." Hard Cider Pizza is a MUST. It's the superior version of a bbq chicken pizza. For me, the bbq sauce (made with hard cider I'm assuming) kicked butt. So good. Our waitress was super attentive and she answered a ton of our questions. Great place to check out if you're in town. Little tip: The guy who owns this place owns the great coffee shop next door and the freaking awesome restaurant down the street (first hill?). All worth a stop by. read more

Enjoyed dining here once, but went to go back tonight and their doors are locked. Online and even the sign out front say they're open 11am- 8am Monday's and it's 5:15. If you're going to post your hours online and out front, please make sure they're accurate! Probably won't risk going back since we don't know if they will be open. read more

This is a place I had tried a several years ago, but it's usually just a bit out of the way on my drive from MA to Ogunquit, so I hadn't made it back. Recently, though, I had a party at Some brewery and since they were one of the closest places to get food, (and I remembered liking what I had eaten) I decided to circle back. What good fortune that they were so close to the brewery! It turned out that everything was fantastic! We got an assortment of the small sandwiches (curry chicken salad, caprese, and turkey with cherry chutney) as well as the kale/beet salad and the field greens salad, and we loved all of it. Due to staffing shortages, we had to pickup the order, so I can't comment on delivery. But the food was ready when they promised, and pickup was quick and easy. And my whole family plans now plans to get take-out from here again when they're back in the area. read more

First one was that there is plenty of parking. And plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather allows that. I don't live nearby, but it is a place I would recommend to others who go by there and when we come near here again I know where to go eat if I'm in the mood for pizza. Unfortunately, the food was just ok and didn't knock my socks off. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, pork belly steam buns and the margherita pizza. Brussels were fried nicely but the ginger sesame sauce was very strong and I would probably preferred the sauce on the side. Pork belly buns were just ok as well. We were here for the pizza so were excited to try it - pizza unfortunately was just ok as well. Food is subjective and always based on preference so please take this review with a grain of salt - pizza was a bit doughier than I'd like - I prob should've asked for it to be well done if even possible and the sauce tasted heavy on the oregano - not something I'm a big fan of. All in all - not bad but not great. I just had such high expectations - maybe a different pizza might've changed my mind. But def don't skip out on going next door to try some samples and get some bread - the bread is amazingly delicious.
