Love everything about this place. Ambience is really nice. We went there for their live music. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and the lady even found us a couple of spots at the bar near the stage as we requested. Food and drinks were great too. We ordered the flatbread with pepperoni and hot honey and cheesesteak sandwich. They have 2 stages for music and 3 bars. Their outdoor courtyard looks amazing and I can't wait for warmer weather and enjoy music there. We will definitely be coming back. read more

Finally got my three for three by visiting The Game Room sports bar. I made a reservation to catch some March Madness games, and my table was ready when I arrived. I must say, the low top tables have the most comfortable chairs. Fully backed and bucket like. Peter was our server and was very attentive even though the place filled up fast. I was wondering how they were going to pull off the live music in front of the jumbo TV showing the Duke game but the guy just lined up on the side and did his thing. The Fish Tacos were great, as was the crab dip. This place is not inexpensive - entrees and apps run close to $20 but you do get plentiful portions. The drinks are very affordable though - wine and craft beer under $10. If you're looking for a place to hang out and catch some sports this is a good option. read more

We've lived in Cockeysville now for about 6 years and this is a great addition to the area, finally something different! We go all the time. It is a very unique concept and we always enjoy time there- it's beautiful and service is great. Only eaten in the game room so far. The lobster melt and tacos are yummy! There's fun games- ski ball, beer pong, ping pong, foosball, and lots of TVs and a great area to relax outside in the courtyard with fire pits on the tables. Unfortunately there's a lot of older folk who are so confused about the concept that they feel the need to leave negative reviews. (We're in our early 30's) There's a chill area, more upscale area, fine dining, and an outside courtyard with the bar connected! Perfect for the nice weather. Please ignore all the bad comments and go see for yourself- also yes it's a BAR aimed for ADULTS to hang out ... so your children may not be able to play games and run around freely after 5. I went to this restaurant for a late lunch and was blown away. The atmosphere was amazing. Met the owner and he was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and informative. I plan to go back many more times. Now for the food, I had the sweet and spicy cauliflower, while my husband had some pork belly sliders. Delicious and seasoned to perfection. My wife went here for a friends dinner to check the place out. 2 hour after they left my wife's credit card had 3 fake charges. For Uber Eats, target and Amazon. Someone stole my wife's credit card numbers. This was a new card and this was the first time it was used in weeks. A couple hours after dinner and there were multiple charges. Do not use cards here. Such a great atmosphere! Started in the social room. The food was amazing! Loved, loved, loved the French onion mac and cheese! My cocktail was on point. Our server showed us around and was great! After we finished we headed over to the game room. We bought a a few drinks, watched a football game, and played ping pong. ALL the games were FREE....punching bag, basketball, arcade games!!! Disappointed. They need to work a lot of things out before I go back place looks nice- but---- Wanted to watch terp game and football game but can't order from dinner menu in sports bar. 2 different menus and can't order off of both, caused confusion with all of us. almost left- they did not care Asked manager and he said no. asked for one of the 25 tv's in restaurant for game and told no- love when places i spend money in tell me no- Lots of people standing around doing nothing Took forever to get food and it was cold and flavorless. nobody came to check on us- Waited 30 min for check that was wrong. paid our bill and left without anyone of the many people standing around asking us how things were I get it's a new place but work it all out before I return. too many no's by leadership for me to say yes to this place read more

THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!!!!! My girlfriends & I have found our new Girl's Night Out Place. The Game room / sports bar area is so much fun. Not to mention we had the VERY BEST SERVER EVER and I mean EVER! Linda-Linda-Linda is all we can say. She is just the sweetest, funniest, down-to-earth server we have ever met. She made sure we always had everything we needed before we even knew we needed it. She kept the water coming cause the drinks were so damn good and she helped us navigate the menu, so we all had enough to share. We were there for a good couple of hours, and we saw her running all over the place making sure everyone was ok with a smile on her face. She treated us like we were her besties and we loved that because she is funny as hell! She hung out with us, and we got to know her, and she got to know us. We have done Girl's Night out twice a month for so many years and have never been treated like Linda treated us. The Blueberry Lemon Drop is like candy and the Creamsicle crush will make you wish you were on a Caribbean island. Linda recommended the French Onion Cheesesteak, Cheeseburger Tacos and Caesar Salad with Filet Bites which we got and they were outstanding. Afterwards we got the Red Velvet Balls and they were sooooooooo GOOD! The fact they have a dress code and kid policy makes this place on of a kind. So many places don't have this, and I think it's a great idea. We cannot wait for Spring to come so we can sit out on the Patio. I rarely do reviews, but this one was much needed, Linda really made our night, and we have told all our other friends to check this place out and ask for Linda. Not kid friendly. Don't bother. I went to the grocery store and decided to take my two kids 13 and 6 to Yorktowne Social for dinner on a Wednesday night. There was only a few tables on there. I was excited to take them there because they have some arcade games that the kid would enjoy. I was in the middle of ordering a drink when the manager came over and said that kids can only play the games before five. She said they were welcome to stay and eat dinner but not play any games. We left immediately. You want our $$$ but the kids have to watch the adults play the games? She said that the kids were welcome to play games before five. Who has dinner before 5? I have been there a few times and the bartenders are nice but the pours are very inconsistent and drinks are on the small side. read more

Crab cakes were tiny mounds of mush. Overpriced. Bar area is only lit by large screen and constant bright/dark induces headache. OMG! This place is beyond AMAZING!!! We went for our 1st time on Saturday and as soon as we walked into the Game room Linda greeted us, helped us find a table suitable for my husband and I and our 2 little ones. She welcomed us, helped us navigate the menu and treated us like we were her own family. She brought out some St. Patty's Day stuff for our kids and even played with them a little as we ate. We sat and watched her interaction with not only our kids but with others and she treated them the same. The food was excellent. The environment was perfect and we cannot wait to tell our friends and family about this place and our experience. But one thing is for certain, when we do return, we only want Linda to serve us! In my whole life I have never came across a waitress who is like LINDA! She has such a sweet and fun personality and really goes above and beyond for her customers. She is a true Gem and I wish this world we live in today had more of her .My husband and I are both in the medical field and I wish our staff would take some lessons from her. Thank You Yorktowne Social for not only bringing this amazing establishment to this area but for also having this ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WAITRESS!
