Lunch chicken Teriyaki Chicken and Vegetables Bowl

Yoshi's is our guilty pleasure when we use our monthly chase benefit food credit. Order thru DoorDash for pickup; apply the benefit and done. Love the veggie base and the spiciness is just right. Served piping hot and in good travel containers to get home. Staff are always friendly and everything is put in stapled bags. They do a hopping business here for good reason. Good food and reasonably priced.

Not on the menu, but great decor.

I was craving a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and voila! There was Yoshi's right around the corner. It was late for lunch so it wasn't busy and service was very speedy. It was just what I needed to get through the rest of the day. And the ladies there were so nice - greeting me as I walked in and thanking me as I left. I like that. So good vibes.

I love the teriyaki chicken bowl! You can't beat the price during happy hour but it's a good deal at the normal price too! I usually order online and the food is always ready quickly.

I rarely throw away food as it hurts my core to do so. This however had to be thrown out. The oil it was cooked in was rancid. The sauce was a which was supposed to be minimally coating the chicken was so much it looked like soup. I could go on but then will need therapy for PTSD.

If you are looking for quick, healthy food in a hurry on a budget the Sumo Platter is an amazing deal. You get about 6 pounds of orange chicken/teriyaki chicken with vegetables over a bed of rice for about 40$ to take home and transfer to tuppaware and you have a nice lunch for the next week packed full of protein, carbs, and healthy fats for about 8$ per meal

Like a warm hug from an old friend. This was my bowl of chicken teriyaki at Yoshi's - a place I had not visited in more than 10 years. It was a delicious, hearty serving with tasty sauce and tender chicken over rice. Nothing fancy, and absolutely perfect. There's not much to say about the service, other than my order came out quickly after I ordered at the counter and was hot and fresh. It is a very casual place.

However, the outside was a tad burnt. Not sure if this is normal for crispy tofu here at Clever Koi. I have eaten here at the restaurant in the past and loved my experience, including the service!

There were still about 4 groups still in the restaurant, but was mainly open. I could see this place getting busy during the weekends though, so recommend a res if you're here during peak hours. We started with cold sake and a couple of cocktails. Super cute and yummy drinks, creative and complimented the overall theme. The Asahi beer was huge and came with an ice cold glass, perfect! We got the orange chicken and drunken noodles with added chicken breast. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that the orange chicken came with rice, and was not overly breaded. The drunken noodles were pretty salty but overall good. These two entrees were enough for two people to take a little bit of leftovers home. Recommend for a nice date night or if looking for some Asian fusion. We'll be back!
