Solid fried rice, but Wow..... a picture is worth 1000 words they say, I'll let it do most of the talking. I will not be back. I expressed genuine excitement to the man at the front about trying this food having just moved here to AZ and to be met with this is a disgrace. This so called "kung po chicken" is nothing but a bag of frozen microwaved vegetables with a FEW BITS of bland chicken. Unfortunately, I could never in good faith suggest this place to someone nor will I return again. The staff was so nice but the food just didn't do it for me. The hot and sour soup was more like egg drop but with a lot of celery and not a lot of anything else. I was really in the mood for hot and sour, so I was pretty disappointed. My chicken dish was okay but lacked flavor and my rice container wasn't full when I opened it :( The egg roll was good and I'm grateful for kind service, but ultimately I won't be ordering again. read more

Honestly the worst Chinese food I've had. The orange chicken came without sauce and you're supposed to sauce it yourself? I'm sorry, but the orange chicken from Trader Joe's is better. I was expecting high quality from the good reviews but was really surprised by how bland everything tasted. Quite pricey for the quality as well. Unfortunately won't be coming back. read more

Let me start off by explaining- I've lived near and next to the Chinatowns of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose- I go to Kim's for decent Phoenix Chinese food. Todays food was a tad disappointing. I ordered teriyaki chicken, it has 2 pieces of broccoli. 2. Nothing else. I guess I should be happy that some broccoli fell into the box..? That honestly wasn't an issue. I also ordered egg rolls. With the egg rolls was that red sauce. Sauce- DizGusting. Like I immediately tasted it and had to throw it in the trash- it could. Not. Even. Sit on the counter. I'll go back because they have great customer service, however, these little things really do need to be corrected. read more

I agree with some of the older reviews the egg foo young is the best in the Central Phoenix area. It's real with all of the ingredients inside of it and I always ask for bean sprouts and they accommodate that request as well. I have never had any issues with the food being bland or flavorless in any way but I understand you can't please everyone but I'm here to stay I love the food here.... read more

We got the shrimp lo mein. The sauce was bitter, it actually tasted like it came from a bottle and not house made. Honestly the weirdest tasting shrimp lo mein I've ever had. I didn't know it comes with vegetables most places you have to ask. There was barley any noodles as well. The box wasn't filled to the top either. You get 6 shrimp in the large order. Good sized shrimp but the flavor of it all was just bad. The Rangoon's were borderline cold. The sweet and sour was watery. I guess you get what you get for the price. I'm giving two stars because I haven't tried any of the other food but just based on this meal alone, I really won't even bother coming back. read more

We came here for our Chinese craving tonight and it was fulfilling. I got an order of egg flower and wonton soups. The egg flower soup is pretty thick and it tasted good and full of egg. The wonton soup had broccoli in it which I was surprised about, it was soft and flavorful and enjoyable. Got the teriyaki chicken entree and happy family. The chicken was flavorful and not too full of sauce which I liked a lot. The happy family had fresh vegetables and fresh meats. The only thing I didn't quite like was how liquid the sauce was. Usually the sauce is thicker and coats the rice nicely. The rice was a well done sticky rice. I'd say it was better than most I've had in AZ. Finally, the crab puffs. They were perfectly filled and well fried. I enjoyed these a lot and would order them again. The family staff were friendly and I am happy to have supported our local business tonight. Food and customer service always consistent, incredible! Potstickers are second to none and I could eat the vegetables lo mein everyday and never get sick of it. Everything is so flavorful and always fresh. Plus, they have couple other amazing places next door, the Neveria and Churro places are also 5 stars! It's really cool to be able to get local Chinese from a family run restaurant. The vegetables were very fresh. The BBQ pork slices were perfect. I recommend Kim's. Saw the $5 ricebowl sign. Decided what the heck, for 5 bucks it's worth a try. Best $5 I've spent in a while. The guy up front was very nice. Fast service. He even brought it out to me. Plans to stop by the Daughters new apt near Thomas and 46th st and was going bring some solid chinese as a new crib warming meal. Started looking around and NOT MANY IF ANY 4.1 & ABOVE CHINESE FOOD PLACES NEAR BY. PRETTY EMPTY...Looked north, looked south and then East and BAM looking West Found Kims Chinese Kitchen and its 4.3 so zoomed into the reviews to make it was real or a fake review kitchen ....it was REAL. So called in an order around 7pmish and spoke to a professional and busy young man to take my order. I presume that was Eddie given the reviews. Got the order put in lickety split & had to repeat it twice for I could tell Eddie was Busy on a Sat. night near closing. Headed out towards Kims and it was not as easy to find as I thought for it is kinda of stuck in the middle of a corner L shaped business strip on 32nd street & Thomas South Side.. Found it and walked & was greeted by a young professional young man and we recognized each other by our voices and quickly I was on my way out two order and Eddies blessings to have a great meal! Brought it to the Daughters new place and started chowing down the the Veggie Bowl with rice, roll and won ton was just enough food and very tasty. My daughter beef & broccoli was delish. In the midst of Central Phoenix, near Thomas and 32nd St. is this little takeout/delivery only Chinese food place. I found it via Yelp, and decided to give it a try. I had intended on eating at a table and doing some work, but as I mentioned, it's takeout only, so I got my food fairly quickly and took it to my car. I ordered the house fried rice based on someone else's recommendation. I can't say it was the best I've ever had but it was very good. The price was decent and the food was freshly prepared very quickly. Certainly will keep this place on my go-to list if I am nearby and hungry. read more

So, I ordered for the house. - 3 orders of Pot stickers - heavy breading, like heavy.. not traditional. - Fried shrimp - very crunchy, soft shrimp, I enjoyed this. - Small Egg Flower soup - literally bomb... the best thing I ordered... - L Orange chicken - second best thing I ordered, but better w/o the sauce.. again, non traditional. - L Mongolian beef - ok, so this is where we felt very scammed... I plucked out MAYBE 5 small shavings of beef... it was ALL onions and veggies... I feel a bit upset as we were looking forward to some protein.. - Small Vegetable Lo Mein - actually this was not bad, I got the small and ate it all...
