Oh Mai... not even sure what to say here. Let's start with the food: - Pho broth was slightly oily but okay. Not the best, not the worst. Noodles was good, can't really mess that up. We ordered one each of rare beef, brisket, and meatball pho. The rare steak and brisket was okay. The meatballs were disgusting. It tasted stale and rancid, past the expiration date. I had to spit it out bc it made me want to vomit. Sad part is, that is ordered elsewhere and they don't even make it in-house. - Rice, short ribs, and kimchee plate was good. - Did not try the banh mi or anything else and sadly won't get to bc we will never come back. Service: - Guy at the cashier couldn't be any unfriendlier. He wasn't rude but had RBF and never cracked a smile or say thank you or anything. This is typical service at an Asian restaurant so I will forgive bad customer service if the food is excellent. This food is far from excellent. - Person who brought out our food was nice and friendly. Older gentleman. - I don't really get this place. Is it full service, fast food kind of service? Half and half? You order at the counter, need to leave a tip before you get your food. You have to get your own condiments, napkins, etc... - They give you a tiny, baby size, disposable plastic soup spoon for pho. This is beyond ridiculous and stupid. Please give people real soup spoons. Atmosphere: - Looks clean. There is a strong strong star anise smell. Not bad if you don't mind leaving smelling like an Asian apothecary. - Not sure what the order booth surrounded by plexiglass is about since we're years out of quarantine, but whatever.

Coming from an outsider, I would have never guessed a Vietnamese restaurant in Utah would have so many locations! We came as a big group after a day of snowboarding in the mountains and were really craving a hot bowl of pho. We stumbled upon this restaurant as it was pretty close to our airbnb and seemed to be a pretty popular local chain. As a group, we probably ordered maybe like 6 banh mi's and 4 phos. To our surprise, we got everything super quick! They work so fast and everything came out toasty, hot, and delicious! Our banh mi's were crispy and packed with lots of veggies and our choice of meat. Definitely a bit pricier, but I would say you get what you pay for! Pho broth was pretty solid as well. Definitely a great place to check out for fast and casual Vietnamese food!

Loved the basil spring roll, tofu lemongrass sandwich and delicious noodle bowl. I was in town for work and wouldn't totally go back if I lived closer! I'm vegan and it was super friendly for my diet!

Came here on a whim cuz my usual spot is closed Mondays & i tried the pho, it was ok: they give u a few toppings but if u want soy sauce or siracha u gotta ask for it. the broth was a little to sweet for my taste but it wasn't bad: i will probably try again i haven't tried the bah mi sandwiches yet & that's what i really wanna try.

My stars are only in relation to the pho. I'm confused by the how good ppl say the pho is. It's very bland, over salted to make up for the lack of beef flavor. As for the cost to portion ratio... its crazy. I got the only size thats available and is the size of my hand and paid way to much for that. Now I would 100% be welling to pay that if it was good but it's not. I don't know, I can only assume that the other reviewers have never had pho before.

Vietnamese iced coffee-too much ice, not enough coffee

Food is always great. My favorite is the pork glazed vermicelli. The kimchi short ribs are amazing as well. So delicious! I would not recommend the Vietnamese iced tea or coffee. The taste is great, but you pay $5 for 5 sips since it is completely packed with ice. I brought it to their attention and they didn't seem to care, so I will not be getting that again.

The food is very expensive for the serving. I'm leaving the place Hungry wouldn't come back here again. Save your money.

Why did you switch to plastic? I'm Considering not eating there anymore. Environmentally and logistically it makes no sense. I'd rather not eat my soup with chemicals leaching into it

The sign that was hung in the restaurant says they switched to plastic due to too many people throwing their bowls and utensils away. But I find this as a ridiculous solution. Other steps could have been taken.

It's a cute Italian-style market with a variety of cheese, meat, and dry goods selections in addition so a wonderful Italian deli. It seems old school authentic - which who doesn't love in a deli! We each got a half sandwich which was perfect without being overly filling. I had the Old school and my husband had the caputo - we loved them both. They were the perfect epitome Italian deli. It was decently busy during a lunch rush but our sandwiches came out quick and there was ample indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast sandwiches looked incredible as well!

(I should have written this review years ago, to be honest!) The sandwiches are consistently phenomenal... premium meats & delicious cheeses layered perfectly on fresh, flavorful bread. I'm a fan of "The Old School," but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the options. And no surprise, just like the downtown SLC location, the staff are friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They keep things moving smoothly yet never make you feel rushed. This location is a bit calmer and more relaxed than their downtown SLC location. We all know Holladay is...affluent, and their village is such a cute area that invites you to slow down and enjoy your meal. And, of course, the market is half the fun. Imported Italian specialties, incredible chocolates, and loads of pantry items...We always leave with something we didn't plan to get. Amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back. A true favorite of ours and easily one of the best lunch spots in the area.

The owner, Korbyn, was working the front, taking orders, ringing up customers, wiping down tables, checking on customers dining in, and that level of attention and care was evident with the entire staff. Now on to the food. These sandwiches are so good. We know the bread makes the sandwich and their bread is perfect for a good sando. I got the Italian cold cut combo with everything and omg. The giardiniera they top on the sandwiches really round it out. Add a side of fries that come with fry sauce and that's a damn good meal. Casual environment, counter service, went at 2pm and it was still packed. They're always busy and for good reason. But they like moves fast and the food comes out quick.
