I have yet to be able to enjoy a meal inside here - my first time was during the shut down when we hopped on bikes and got takeout to eat at the park, and last night we were just plain lazy and got delivery. I ordered the Crab Wontons, Sesame Chicken (felt basic, what can I say?) and my husband got the Super Grilled Chicken Bowl (it comes with pork spring rolls if you make it "Super") with Vermicelli noodles, crushed peanuts, bean sprouts, carrots and cucumbers with a sweet sauce to drizzle over. The sesame chicken was well breaded without being overwhelmingly thick, and sauced with just the right amount. The crab wontons were generously stuffed and fried perfectly, and the husband demolished everything that came in his order before I got a chance to even try it, so I suppose it was pretty good as well. With delivery, the food still arrived nice and hot, and with generous portions (the Super Grilled Chicken Bowl definitely could've lasted more than one meal, but he was extra hungry), so I've got plenty of leftovers to tide me over for at least two more days! Pretty solid Viet food for a town not known for it. Pho was a bit bland and tasted watered down. Some overcooked noodles too but overall not bad. Vermicelli noodle bowls with pork were pretty good too. Viet coffee a bit too sweet for my liking. read more

I heard a lot of good things about young's cafe . So this trip visiting family in town ,decided to give it a try . Parking is easy for dinner time . Wait time is not bad . Service is good , people are super nice. No complaints! Restaurant is clean and nice . Foods though , I am Asian , i totally understand Asian foods won't taste like what it tastes at Asia . We order a family meal for 2 . One dish is lemongrass beef and the other is pineapple pork ( supposed to be spicy ) The lemongrass beef is tasty, lemongrass blended with garlic and make a sauce stir fry some beef and veggies ( taste kinda like beef and broccoli in a lot American Chinese restaurants) although that's a tasty dish .! The pineapple pork , the pork is way too much flour around it , and it is not crispy , the sauce is way too sweet not spicy at all. We can't eat one more bite of the pork after first bite . Small bowl of soup comes with it is veggie tofu sweet and sour soup . It is okay . Spring rolls is fry spring rolls not the one I expected . For the price though , $21 each dish. Not really worthy. Overall, it is okay to try , could be me order something not right . But for anyone likes to cook , you probably dong think that's worth the price. read more

My wife and I were in Fort Collins area and we're both craving for Vietnamese food. We decided to check out Young's Cafe for dinner. This is our first time and it won't be the last time. This restaurant is amazing. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a several friendly staff. While ahead was walking us to our table, we noticed the nice ambiance of the dining area. Looks very welcoming and relaxing. They also have a nice cocktail bar inside. Their menu has nice food selections and they have gluten free options as well. Their menu has pictures also and I thought the prices were a little bit pricey. Their menu selections are not all Vietnamese but other Asian food such as Chinese and Thai. They also have a a lot of alcoholic drinks selections. The waiter that was served us was very friendly and professional and attentive. He made sure our drinks are always full and checking if everything is okay. Our foods came out in less than 10 minutes, even though the restaurant was a little bit busy. Our food was hot and fresh and very delicious. We were very happy about that. After we finished our dinner and as we were walking out, the friendly staff thanked us for coming in and wished us a great evening. Wow! Great customer service. Big thumbs up to the restaurant manager or owner for training their staff well. We will definitely come back here again. read more

Disclosure: visit and review during COVID-19 pandemic. I didn't really have high expectations for Young's Cafe, but I really enjoyed their food! When I'm in Fort Collins, this will be on my regular meal rotation. It's a super busy neighborhood Asian restaurant. Lots of local patrons and take out. Prices are on point! And service is pretty decent. So far I've had the vegetable soup (loaded with lots of veggies and tons of flavor), house fried rice, and Luc-Lac steak (delicious). My visit was also when the mask mandate is lifted, but the staff are still wearing theirs. There was no social distancing that I observed. read more

Was super busy on a Saturday night but it was worth the wait! The service was great even though it was super busy. The food was amazing!! The spring rolls were delish but the pork in the noodle bowl was the star of the show. So extremely flavorful and juicy, even though it was sliced so thin! Really enjoyed the food here and their mimosas. I ordered the sesame shrimp as an entree and crab rangoons as an appetizer. Everything was the perfect temperature and the sesame shrimp were solid. They did forget to put in my aunt's food so she had to take her's to go but it was a nice experience besides that. I'm assuming because it was Mother's day it was packed. If you have anxiety around indoor eating I wouldn't recommend on busy days because distancing wasn't the best I've seen for a restaurant . After living in Fort Collins for 6 years, I finally got around to trying out the infamous Young's Cafe. High level review- everything was fine, but nothing spoke to my foodie soul. My group tired the crystal spring rolls and the pork steamed dumplings as appetizers. For mains, we ordered the pineapple chicken, the fried rice, and the super bowl with pork. Next time I eat at Young's, I will pass on the crystal rolls. There were way too many vermicelli noodles and not enough shrimp or veggies in the rolls. Also, the peanut dipping sauce was far too sweet for my tastebuds. However, the pork dumplings get my stamp of approval. Out of all the mains, I would recommend the super bowl with pork. The pork on that dish was the star of the show. The fried rice was decent. But buyer beware, the portion is massive. Food reviews aside, the service was helpful and efficient. Enjoy! read more

I eat it on a regular basis in AZ where I live. There was one place where I am visiting in WY. Not a Vietnamese only place. I drove to Ft. Collins specifically for Pho... and grilled pork spring rolls. Lived the spring rolls. I make them at home and they provided all the fixins for me to make at the table. Awesome, except I had some engineering issues and with the beveled plate vs a flat surface. But I got them made and they made into mouth without incident. I was able to make 6 for the same price I would get for 4 back home. LOL. The Pho was disappointing but only in one aspect. None of the spices I expected. It tasted like a BASIC beef broth. It was a big bowl with lots of meat, lots of noodles, and lots of the fresh herbs and typical add-ins. ( I would have liked more cilantro, but I didn't think to ask so that's on me) The price was right for everything I ordered. Would I go back? Not sure. Stopped by for lunch for the first time and was greeted by a friendly host. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. They have a lunch menu, however, Pho is not included in there lunch menu. My waitress was also very friendly and attentive, even though she was quite busy. I had the seafood lemongrass pho and it was so flavorful and delicious I could not stop eating.
