Took car in with bad scratches from previous owner. See closeup (see before pictures). They removed all those scratches and left a mirror finish. I couldn't find any scratches after team finished. Took my car to Younik on Thursday. Minimum was cheap, though knew it needed more as I shot it full of Goo Gone then ended up smearing it all over my paint to dry. I'm not going to drop numbers but when I get there the quote jumps 45.00. Fine, for wash dry, clay bar wax, and windows in and out...okay. oh and cash please, I take credit, but please cash?! I'll get it to at least 90% you'll be thrilled I promise you! I dropped car at close to 10, was called about 230 for pick up. When i get there, car is behind a garage door, blocked by a truck. Yes the room is painted white, but I'd like to see it in daylight; all of a sudden he breaks out his camera phone flashlight to highlight his work, door still closed. It truly looks great, can't complain. I pay the man his money, the cartel outside move the truck; and voi'la the door opens. My car its free! I get in and the seat is adjusted to cruise levels, like it was out for a joyride; so not a good feeling when you feel like your new to you ride, has been violated. Well guess what, since I paid cash, he made no reciept; so no proof he even worked on my car. That joyride resulted in a brand new bumper, mind you the same side that was just fully replaced three weeks ago, now has deep white gouges in it. Surely this is resultant of careless drivers speeding over imperfections to cause bottoming out, or curbing it at a storefront. Either way, it was disquised, and trust has been broken. Yes the work is fantastic, would I leave my car there inattended again? NEVER!! Would I pay cash? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Make him write a receipt, bill your card as proof you did business; so if he wrecks your car you can do something about it. No good deed goes unpunished, lesson learned. Be warned! read more

Big Tip: If you need your vehicle detailed pull up to their work bay. Don't go to the car wash line. The crew here will hand wash your car prior to being detailed and this will save you between $20-40 dollars. The detail process can take part of your day so its always wise to arrive early in the morning if possible. You can sit and wait here or head to McDonald's/Popeye's to grab a bite to eat to waste some time by eating slowly. Or have someone follow you there and take you home or do errands while Pablo and the team take care of your ride. Dropped by Younik on a Sunday to have my Caddy Escalade ESV detailed as it was in need of some serious care. With 3 girls they can make a mess of it inside and my exterior needed some work as well after our May showers so late in Spring. This morning the line up were: My Caddy Escalade ESV, another Escalade Short version, A Fullsize Denali SUV, Chevy Silverado 4x4, Lowered Chevy Truck, GT Mustang, older Toyota Minivan, latest generation Chevy Malibu and a tow boat used for wake boarding/waterski. This was at 8AM!!! Pablo will go over the detail options based on your budget and your needs. Detailing a car is not cheap so if your expectations are high but looking to do it cheap it would be best just to go to the car wash as usual and the other team wipe away the excess water and dust/vacuum your interior. Ask questions. Detailing the exterior is to revive your paint job, protect your paint and not have the California Sun cause anymore damage or birds that love to use your car as target practice. Vacuuming, shampoo of your carpets and floor mats is to remove stains and pollen and hopefully bring a pleasant aroma inside the car. After about 4.5 hours, my Caddy has its Black Raven paint back to its showroom shine. I also forgot how bright and shiny my Wheels are and how the chrome wheels accent the black color. These guys are meticulous and they all came from another reputable detailing shop that is also known for their excellent work. Pablo makes good on his word and his primary focus is the quality of work and knows the expectations from the customer. I'll be back here soon as I need to get my Mazda 3 back to its shine as well. Right off the bat, our experience with Younik was top-notch. My boyfriend's Mazda 3 was splattered with concrete (on the roof, windshield, and hood) on a Friday. We spent most of the next morning calling different detailing shops hoping for an opening, since we didn't want the cement to set for long. We must have called at least 15 shops all across the Bay Area, to no avail. Finally we found Younik! The representative on the phone was able to listen to our needs and walk through the available options. Here's the best part: he told us we could drop off the car, no appointment needed! They were also super flexible--he originally asked us to drop off the car soon after our call (understandable, we were so last minute), but we were in Oakland and needed the time to drive back and arrange for another car. He told us we could have a few hours to do so if we needed, even though I knew this was cutting it really close to their closing time. So I really appreciate that he was open to that and didn't give us any grief whatsoever. It really helped make a stressful situation a lot less stressful. Although we went to Younik 24+ hours after the incident, they were still able to completely remove the concrete. Not only was the concrete removed, but also the overall car (exterior, interior, tires) looked AMAZING! His headlights were also in horrible condition - cloudy and yellow, but even those were restored and looked crystal clear. The total service took about 3 hours and cost $350 before tip. This was our first ever car detailing experience and we could not have asked for better service than what we received from Younik. read more

+1 star for reaching out to me about my previous experience. -1 star for making it difficult to redeem a discount personally offered to me (not to mention that a similar discount was available online as long as you printed it out, so I'm not sure what all the fuss was about). As a result, I stand by my four stars. Regarding the detailing, they did a better job than last time; however, I made sure to point out the areas I wanted them to pay attention to beforehand. Tip: Although they have a comments section on the online reservation form, they don't seem to look at it. Went in today to get my windows tinted. I found this place on living social and of course bought the coupon. When I arrived, I had a hard time finding the place. It is in a small auto plaza right next to a vw repair. You will see a huge white sign it's in that complex just go straight to the back. You cannot miss them. Parking is a bit difficult as it's very busy with all of the businesses here. I double parked and ran in. Pablo, helped me as soon as I walked in and he got my car in right away. He told me they were a little behind and I was early anyway so I didn't mind the wait. My car was in and out within 2 and a half hours. I opted to stay and wait for my car. Pablo asked if I wanted him to change the channel or turn on the ac. I declined. He was very friendly and even told me they had water and coffee available. There is a few seats inside as well as a table outside. The restroom was very clean. It has a small but comfy waiting area. When my car was done, Pablo explained the after care and if I have any problems or any bubbling to bring my car back any time. I would definitely recommend this shop. I will probably bring my car back for a detail. Don't need one right now since I've only had my car for a week. I saw some of the cars they detailed and they do a really good job. read more

These guys did an awesome job on my vehicle. I went to another "hand wash" place that pretty much butchered my paint by putting swirls and holograms everywhere. I opted for the $205 dollar wash which include a full interior detail plus clay bar, wax and a polish on the exterior. Keep in mind most places charge double for a service like this. They were able to fit me in the same day on short notice. After a few hours, I came back to my car. It looked incredible. They did a very through job and my paint is as smooth as silk, not to mention all the swirls/scratches that are no longer there. Thanks guys see you next time, you got a customer for life. read more

Here is the issue, I look on Groupon and Social Living and they both have deals for this place 115.00 for express wax / clay bar !! Sweet sounds great so I call to see if they have any opening before I buy the groupon and the guys says yea we can take you in today, sweet and then I tell him what price is he charging vs groupon and he says they are no longer taking groupons, they shouldn't be selling them... Oh well that's strange I am looking at the deal on Groupon right now .... Well then how much do you charge, he says 155.00... Not my mess to clean up but if they are not taking the Groupons or Social Living sites deals, they need to contact these people and get them to remove it and post it on there website and facebook and the rest so people don't waste their time !! Coming back in the AM from Armin Only in Oakland, I had to also bring back my friend to his spot. I told my friend that if he needed to puke from getting car sick or being hungover then he needed to let me know. Mind you, my car is on the newer side so I never had any major disasters happen to it and I wasn't intending for what was about to happen... My "friend" ended up projectile vomiting all over the inside of my car and me. Not only was I personally hungover and pissed off, but now I had to find a place open on a Sunday that can clean this nightmare.
