In the past I have visited and bought from many places but "Your Flooring Guys" are a notch above. I'll tell you why, for the most part businesses want to get you in and out and sell you the materials they are trying to get rid of. Not with "Your Flooring Guys". A couple months ago, after looking at all the usual flooring places I stopped by "Your Flooring Guys" As soon as I walked in Lupe and Arsen warmly greeted me. They took the time to hear what I was looking for or my idea of what I was looking for. After they heard me out they made a few suggestions and explained the material and the difference of each flooring type I was considering, that was very helpful! They definitely have a wide range of selection that can get a little overwhelming for someone like me that didn't know what I was looking for but they made it easy. They showed me everything I wanted and nothing I didn't, superb customer service. So I choose and bought my flooring. Then I had a change of heart a day later. I originally bought a laminate flooring from them, very nice texture and color but taking the sample home and looking it over with the contrast from the walls and decor of the house, it wasn't working out as I thought. I stopped by "Your Flooring Guys" a day later and asked if I could change it. With no hassle or hesitation, Arsen said "No problem." Now with a better idea in mind I explained to Lupe and Arsen what I was thinking about and Lupe immediately showed me the flooring I was looking for. The new flooring was clearly a bit more expensive but Arsen honored the price of the original floor, which he didn't have to do but I'm very thankful for. They didn't stop there either, they sold me the underlayment at a better price then any competitor for the same material. On the day our flooring came in and ready for pickup they told my wife to choose any 3 area rugs for our bedrooms as a gift. WOW! These Guys are amazing, and this is why they have definitely earned my business for life and will keep recommending people to them. After my husband and I received and met with several different vendors for quotes on our flooring, Arsen definitely impressed me and over delivered. I have used Arsen maybe five times. This time I moved to Simi so went to Home Depot there. They wanted $50 for an estimate which I paid, then they wanted me to have my cement subfloor smoothed and leveled by an outside contractor before their guys would install. Super expensive. Only problem they left carpet lint all in my planters and all over my artificial turf. Ive been raking it, sweeping it, blowing it and picking it out by hand since. They left. RE: JUAN DELGADO I am happy with this company, their product and service but very unhappy with the installer that they recommended highly. Juan Delgado was so unprofessional and I had to keep asking him to come back to repair things that were badly installed. He also did a "favor" and said he could do a repair in the kitchen and really bungled it. Tonight he called and pretended to know nothing about working in the kitchen even though he came back three times to try and fix his errors. This review is long overdue - but I really loved the work Your Flooring Guys did in our condo. We researched and got estimates from a couple places - Your Flooring Guys had the best prices, the best time frame for getting work done, and the best time frame for starting the work. That was really important to us since we had just bought the place and were trying to get as much reno done as we could before moving our stuff in. Arsen also had really good advice when we went to choose our floor. The end result was wonderful and (aside from my husband winning the argument for what color we went with) we couldn't be happier. UPDATE! (2/15/18) We recently got our fireplaces redone and called upon Your Flooring Guys to finish it off. Easily, we needed transition pieces put in between the new hearth and the old floor. Complicatedly, we needed additional floor to cover an odd gap where the old hearth extended, but where the new hearth did not. We called them up on a Saturday to explain the situation, they called us back on a Tuesday to confirm everything, and everything was over with super quick Thursday morning.
