Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! Brian and Jacob were both very polite and friendly and pretended it was not disgusting. They were professional and worked diligently despite the filth. They wrapped everything up nicely and got everything loaded up quite quickly. At the apartment, they unloaded everything quickly and then helped us to figure out how to place the furniture to get it all to fit! They did a great job and it is well deserved 5 stars!!

Nicole and her husband are amazing and seem to really care about the company taking care of their customers. I scheduled a move fairly close to my move date and they were able to come out same day for a quote. The quote was very competitive and came with a large trailer. The day before the move she called to let me know something was preventing the trailer from getting to us but that they'd provide two trucks (more room) no charge instead. The crew was very friendly and efficient. They wrapped our items well as promised, packed the truck thoughtfully, and worked hard. They showed up on time and delivered on time. We had a great experience moving my mother in-law from her home in the Bay Area to an assisted…read moreliving apartment in Rocklin. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Within a few hours they tamed the chaos of wall-to-wall stacks of memorabilia, tools, holiday decor, etc. They brought donations to their proper destination, sorted everything sensibly, and whittled it down to just about 20 boxes and lots of empty shelves, and a clean floor! I am so grateful for them!!!…read more I tried for a few weeks to move things by myself, but it was so hard with work and a kid and then doing other family stuff in the SF bay area. Then I got sick with kidney stones that forced me to rest. I decided I needed help and called the owner. He sent 3 employees who came to my old apartment in South Natomas. I've never used movers before, so I stacked all my heavy, heavy bins, one large book case/shelf, my queen mattress, lots of clothing, my dresser I've had for 20+ years, my son's tiny dresser, and other miscellaneous items. They were very thoughtful and communicative. I felt so bad knowing that they arrived to the new townhouse apartment that is 3 floors inside and they managed through heavy and light to carry everything up and down. Truly, I am grateful for the 3 that came today. They even kept light spirits with jokes with 4th and 5th floors! They were also courteous and took photos of any bumps in the home prior to loading. The apartment townhouse did have a small chip from the paint prior moving in. If I move within the state again locally, I will definitely request their services. Also, I paid via Venmo. They accept multiple types of payments. My goal is to move one county over into El Dorado County. Highly recommend!!!
