I cannot say enough good things about Your Home Pet Care! Robin has watched our cats a couple of times, and I can't believe how comfortable I feel leaving them in her care. Our cats recognize her, and are excited to see her! Each time Robin arrives and leaves, we receive a notification based on her GPS location, so we're able to track how long she spends with our cats. Each time she visits, she spends at least 30 minutes with them. She also sends us a comprehensive report each time she visits, which includes a write-up, pictures, and other important information. She's also done little things to go above and beyond - she swept the floor before we arrived home because our cats had tracked some litter throughout the house. I have used YHPC for 5-6 years now. We leave for up to two weeks at a time. 3 cats in our household. YHPC stops by and cleans robot cat bot and scoops our standard box. They refresh water, check robot feeders, feed a can of wet food each visit and it doesn't stop there. They also pet and check on the welfare of the cats plus pick up mail or packages for us.. We get texted a picture of each cat or several and a written update on how the visit went. We have never had 1 issue with anything missing or even a picture frame moved out of place. My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted. This is such a great alternative to boarding your pets when you go out of town. We recently used YHPC to come in twice a day to feed our 2 cats for 5 days when our house sitter had something come up. We mainly dealt with Shawna. Every time they came, they emailed a detailed report and pictures to us. Even our anti-social cat loved her- what a surprise! Let's update this review with some photos of me choosing not to work with Shawna because she has a terrible attitude and I don't trust her with my pets. You can see the photo of my original review which she commented on (with NAME CALLING) - which I feel is more evidence of her unstable behavior). Yes, I was refunded because I asked to be refunded (see photo) and what she did not mention is that I was only available to meet with my sitter in those 2 days before my service. Of course that part wasn't mentioned. Also I am clearly an ethical reviewer on Yelp. I highly doubt I would be an Elite member for this long if anyone had taken issue with my ethics. I don't mess around when it comes to pet care and Shawna clearly is just a bad sport about feedback. If posting honest feedback is considered "behaving badly" I am happy to behave badly. Best dog walking service, hands down! Shawna and her team are amazing and clearly love pets. That was a must have for me, but I was also looking for a service that's reasonably affordable. YHPC meets that need and then takes this service to the next level. I needed a personal service bc my pup is timid of other dogs and does not do well with them. I couldn't be more pleased with YHPC!! Here are the facts: PRICE: I compared several companies and most started at $25 a visit (that's $500 per month!). That's was completely out of budget for me since I needed regular daily service. My comparison included walking services and doggie daycare type places. YHPC is also straightforward about pricing - listed on their website so it's not a game. When I did find other companies that were in reason, they would say they didn't service my area even though their website said they did. YHPC's service extends across many areas. DAILY REPORTS: I never knew I needed a daily pup report until I started receiving them! First, they include daily photos, which makes for the cutest afternoon break when you open your email. I swear Shawna takes cuter pictures of my dog, than what I've ever been able to capture. There is also a list of regular updates in the report, depending on the services you've selected. See screenshots. AUTOMATED TIME ALERTS: This is another perk I didn't think I needed. YHPC vehicles are equipped with a GPS "black box" that automatically sends you an email when your walker is arriving and leaving. For YHPC, it's a way to assure you they're visiting with your pup the requested time. For me, it really helps me plan out my afternoon. If they came a little later in my designated time window, I know I have a few extra minutes after work to run errands. LOTS OF LOVE: By reading the report, seeing the pics and coming home to a very happy pup, I can tell Shawna cares about my pup. That brings me a huge sense of relief and peace. Wow! What an amazing pet care service! They did a great job with my Jack Rat Johnny and my girlfriend's Shih Tzu Gizmo. Thanks to them, we were able to spend a relaxing week in Waco. Upon contacting them the first time, I got a response within 20 minutes and set up an appt. at my home to meet them and introduce them to the dogs. They wrote down various information concerning how I needed them to care for the dogs, collect mail, and water plants. I've used Your Home Pet Care a few times while I have been out of town, and I really couldn't be happier with their service and care. Like all people with pets, I feel a bit worried leaving them in the care of someone else but Angela is terrific. My (now) husband and I were in California last week for our wedding and needed help taking care of our cutie. We contacted YHPC through Yelp about a month before our trip and they responded immediately and figured out a way to make our dates work (with such little notice and for a full week of overnight stays plus multiple visits during the day)!!! Our pet is extremely needy and super anxious...which meant that her howling at the rare occasions when angela ran out to run errands ended up in complaints from our neighbors; Angela literally spoke to our concierge, our immediate neighbors and also the neighbors who actually made the complaints to let them know what the current situation is and when we will be back from our wedding. She literally didn't need to do ANY OF THAT!!!! She even went out to CVS to buy some benadryl to give our pet and came up with a creative solution to reduce the noise of her howling!! Omgod she was so above and beyond!!! We had my father in law come back a day sooner than anticipated so that he could relieve Angela sooner ....but I guess this is the testament to how comfortable our cutie was with Angela that after she said hi to her grandpa (who she's known for years) ...she came back and sat next to Angela!!! After a traumatizing experience at daycare, I was SO grateful to do some more digging and find Your Home Pet Care. Angela and Shawna both came out to meet me and do an initial assessment, which I loved. I probably asked far more questions than they are used to but given the daycare I wanted to make sure I was prepared. My dog absolutely LOVED them both and while I haven't been using them for the longest time, I know he's in great hands. They both truly care for your pets as they are their own and the reports they give you are perfect. I also love how responsive they are and how easy it is to get in touch with them. I absolutely love that I found YHPC! My dogs, like for many dog lovers, are like my children. I used to take my pups to a pet resort but after kennel coughs and always dealing with car anxiety, YHPC was the perfect solution! Best pet care service is DFW!!! YHPC has been taking care of our fur babies (2 dogs and a cat) for over a year now. Not only do you get a gps email notification when they arrive and leave but you also get an e-report complete with pictures and summary of their visit. I am SO happy that I found YHPC. My friend at work has known Anegla for nearly 20 years and recommended YHPC, and I couldn't be more grateful. YHPC is incredibly professional and compassionate. They come to your home for a detailed consultation and take notes about any of your pet's likes, personality, special needs, quirks, routines, etc. They are also very cognizant of safety issues when giving your keys, and Angela explained many details that I didn't even think to ask about (such as how they safeguard clients' keys). My kitty has chronic kidney issues that require giving him sub-Qs. I showed Angela how to administer the fluids, and she picked it up just like that. It was really impressive. When Angela arrives and leaves for the visits, I receive a GPS tracker alert that she has arrived and then another when she leaves. Then during the visits, she takes pictures of my cat, plays and cuddles with him, and gives a detailed report of what they did during her visit. I love getting the report and look forward to seeing my little guy playing and happy when I'm gone. My cat loves Angela, which really puts me at ease. As other people have mentioned, I now enjoy going out of town and don't worry the entire time. My cat has a little separation anxiety, and I can tell when I come home from a trip that he's not as "traumatized" by my absence because he's had his pal Angela over.
