Grilled Ham and Cheese. On Rye with PepperJack. Delightful. Good characters in there bellying up to the bar as well as the staff. Unpretentious, relaxing, fun environment. Nice little backyard/patio area too.

This place is about a 3 minute walk from my place. It is a true neighborhood gem. I ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger with steak fries and my daughter ordered a Reuben sandwich with tater tots. We also ordered a beer and a cider which were placed in nice big mason jars for our to-go-order. My hamburger was one of the best I've tasted in a very long time. My daughter loved her Reuben sandwich too! Both drinks were delicious and cold. Wow!!! It's nice to have such a gem of a place sooo close to my home.

Who would've thought you can find a great tasting burger tucked in a residential neighborhood in St. Johns? I'm glad I tried this place out as it was recommended by a couple of my colleagues. This is like your neighborhood bar that opens early enough for lunch and doesn't stay open past midnight. The interior is nothing special as when you walk in, the bar counter is right in front of you. I ordered the Your Inn Burger... which came with bacon, fried egg, and ham. Ther burger was pretty juicy and they chop up the lettuce with their special sauce that almost reminded me of a big mac (but not really). The bacon really added more taste and greatness to this burger. The bartender was polite and made sure I had what I needed to finish this burger. Its definitely worth a try...but might be a bit heavy for lunch.

Cozy local bar with good eats. Was craving some burgers and a reuben and was surprised that Your Inn served both! It's unassuming from the outside but as you enter you can tell it's a local favorite and they even have a closed off patio area you can enjoy. I didn't stay too long but to comment on the food I was happy with both the bacon cheeseburger & reuben. Sad they ran out of onion rings for the day since we wanted to try them as well but even when getting our order another another patron said they have the best ones there. Both entrees were a good size and loved how the burger has a nice crisp on the patty & bacon. Easy to share between two people especially if you get some extra sauce and tots on the side. Reuben was solid as well with nice chunks and melty cheese. As with a bar-type of eats it can get a bit oily so pace yourself or pair it with a nice drink to wash it all down. I'd come back again to chill in the space more since they definitely had a crowd.

Just had an amazing breakfast in a cozy environment with charming and attentive wait staff. Didn't think to take a picture at the onset of the meal... but this is the beautiful home done corned beef hash near completion.

I typically like a Reuben on marbled rye, as they served it on a Griddled Como Bread...and it was great. I didn't get her name at the order counter, but she was so friendly and engaging as well. Everything we ordered was gorgeous and whimsical in presentation, but of course that would mean little without the flavors to back it all up, which it had in spades. The Thai steak tartare tostadas were incredibly balanced, with brightness and herbaceous notes from the vegetables, herbs, and sauce, great punch from the Thai spices, richness from the tartare, and a nice snap and slight nuttiness from the tapioca crisps cradling everything underneath. The foie gras dumplings were simply divine. I expected them to be rich and dense, but they were like little pillows, with a savory filling and a perfect balance of smoked leek broth, crispy fried leeks, and a caramelized shallot jam that ended up being the surprise star of the dish for me. Then came the main event, the Duck Stack, which I can only describe as a McGriddle on steroids (in the best possible way!). Somehow it all worked beautifully, with the rich duck gravy, fluffy pancakes drenched in syrup, spiced onions, and a fried duck egg tying everything together in perfect harmony. It was one of those dishes that sounds wild on paper but is totally brilliant on the plate and in your mouth. Really fantastic meal from start to finish, and I'm already excited to come back to try more of the menu (and the happy hour!) on a future visit.

The garlic fries were spicy in the best way, perfectly crisp, and served steaming hot. The Duck Stack (pancakes covered with duck gravy, onions, and a duck egg) sounded a bit odd to me (and probably many others). When I asked the server if it was good, they told me that people travel to the restaurant specifically for that dish. I'm glad I tried it. Again, very unique with a well balanced spice profile paired with the delicious undertones of a hot pancake. I know I would have never thought of that, doesn't sound like it should work, but....it worked! Service was great, atmosphere was a bit loud with a band playing next door, it was a bit overwhelming, plus a random dude walked into the restaurant and a server lit his joint for him as a courtesy(?)...stunk the place up for a few minutes, but as I thought about it, I decided that was about the most "Portland" thing I had seen all week on my trip :) I'll be going back for sure, I would love to taste through that entire menu. Did I mention the Foie Gras Dumplings? I never had anything like them in my life. That's a dish I would definitely travel back to Portland for.

We were genuinely excited and looking forward to a special evening. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short, especially given the price point and strong Yelp rating. The oxtail croquettes arrived cold, which was surprising for a fried item and set a disappointing tone early. The biggest issue was the hamachi crudo. It had a strong fishy smell with clear hints of ammonia and tasted far from fresh, bordering on spoiled. There was a lingering aftertaste that unfortunately affected everyone's palate for the rest of the meal. We sent it back due to quality concerns. My family and I grew up eating liver and mousse from our own family recipes and from many different culinary traditions. The chicken liver mousse here was creamy in texture but lacked depth and subtle sweetness, and tasted overly mineralized. It was the first chicken liver mousse I have ever not finished. The crab beignets were acceptable, though they could have used more crab. The accompanying sauce was well executed. The miso deviled eggs were tasty, and the anchovy add-on worked nicely. The Parisienne gnocchi, at $40, was not memorable and leaned heavily salty. Steak frites were standard, a dish that is generally hard to fumble. Unfortunately drinks. The shift in service after we sent back the hamachi was obviously uncomfortable and noticeable. The energy dramatically changed. There was little interest in engaging with our feedback. For a meal that totaled over $200, we left disappointed and still hungry. Portland offers many stronger dining options at this price point that deliver both quality and hospitality. Disappointing feels like an understatement. I am genuinely puzzled by the high rating based on the food quality and service we experienced. We will not be returning, nor would I recommend it based on this visit.
