Located at the corner of Long Point and Bunker Hill, housed in a small yellow building with barred windows in a worn down plaza, this family owned Thai/Chinese restaurant may not catch your eyes right away. The very 90s interior is as modest as the exterior, but the real draw here is the food. We usually order takeout, and our go-tos are the pad Thai and green curry. The coconut flavored green curry is excellent, with tender eggplants (unlike some places where the eggplants are still firm or undercooked). The pad Thai is on the sweeter size, but if you like a little heat, their hot sauce balances it nicely. The portion is solid and their menu price is on the lower side compared to other Thai spots in town. To make it even better, they open 7 days a week!

The restaurant looks a bit sketchy from the outside, but it has great reviews, which is why we gave it another try. General Tso's chicken wasn't that impressive, but the orange chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls were great. The chicken dumplings were good too. Everything came out warm and hot enough to enjoy. I've been here before, and honestly, I felt it was better the last time, but the standout dishes are still worth trying.

A surprisingly impressive find for Thai in Spring Branch. This hole-in-the-wall establishment may have an outdated exterior and decor (there was even an old random motorcycle inside, not sure what the story is there), but don't let appearances fool you, the food is quite good here. I came here for lunch on a weekday and noticed a steady stream of takeout orders. The menu offers a variety of Asian cuisines, including Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese.. We decided to try out a few noodle dishes. The Basil noodles were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right quantity of meat/noodles. (Already better than some of the fancier places around town) I also tried a few bites of the Pad Thai, which was equally well made. The chef even came out to say hi to us as we were leaving, which added a friendly touch. Would definitely come back again!

Food was okay, pad Thai flavor/sauce barely held taste throughout. Tofu was nice and crispy and I love the small size. Very saucy which isn't bad but isn't good. Cream of Tom Yum wasn't bad either and definitely better than the pad Thai. Nice spice at being mild. However my rating and concern comes from the cleanliness of the interior. They say don't judge a book by its cover but definitely the cover was better than the content and that's not a compliment. I knew I should've passed on this place but wanted to give it a shot. I hope the owners do more to clean up the inside and then work on the outside because the encounter we had inside was a HUGE problem.

So satisfied with the food here. If you looking for a place which has delicious Thai food but not too fancy inside, this restaurant might be that one. The service was great and waitress so friendly and supportive. She always makes sure that we have nice experience and ask us some feedback about food. I ordered red curry, chicken satay and Thai basil. Everything was so tasty and not too spicy. Love it here!!! Don't be hesitant by the look! Just come and enjoy

I ordered here about a year ago with my boyfriend and have been begging him to go back with me after he found it. I ordered the pad Thai hot but I would recommend the Thai hot. I couldn't remember which was the better one and I love spice so next time. I will be getting that.

I had a craving for Pad Thai, so I checked out Yelp. The reviews there looked promising compared to other local places, so I decided to place an order. I went for the spicy basil noodles with chicken and a Thai tea, and I added some edamame as well. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was initially skeptical, but my doubts lessened when I saw another customer pull up. The restaurant itself was quaint. After a brief five-minute wait, my order was ready. The edamame was decent, and the Thai tea was tasty. However, the standout dish was definitely the basil noodles. They were absolutely perfect - I will definitely be returning for more.

Don't get fooled by the outside of the restaurant. At first when we got there, we were hesitant to try. However, the food were actually pretty tasty. Tried pad Thai, it's on the wet side, but yummy. Green curry was great. Would've tried basil noodles next time. But just wish we can adjust the spice level we like our Thai food spicy

So we've driven by this spot multiple times and never noticed what that building was. Located at the corner of Bunker Hill and Long Point, this restaurant is a small nondescript building in a semi run down shopping plaza on Long Point. The interior is a very 90's / early 00's style but I do appreciate the hole in the wall feel and authenticity to not overly appeal to the millennials. We got the basil noodles with pork and pad Thai with chicken. I really enjoyed the pad Thai though it was a little bit on the sweet side. The basil noodles were good but I do prefer the pad see ew from some other Thai spots in terms of flavor. Overall, I think it's a great spot for takeout in the area and it's priced very fairly for 2023!

Did this restaurant close down? Just went by at 7pm (Thursday evening) and it was closed. No sign or anything outside. No answer when calling. My wife and I enjoyed picking up food here from time to time. Oh well.

Maybe they closed early for the day? There's a chicken shop on the same street that everytime we go by they are closed but have hours to 9pm. Maybe they sold out for the day?

We visited for lunch on a Tuesday and had no wait to be seated. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The spring rolls and dumplings were both very good and made a great start to the meal. The Pad Thai had nice flavor and was enjoyable. My husband ordered his dish at a spice level 4 (their highest spice level), but felt it wasn't quite as spicy as expected, so keep that in mind if you like a lot of heat. The portions were very generous, and we definitely had leftovers. The kids' chicken fried rice was a huge portion and was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the mango sticky rice for dessert--it was a great way to end the meal. The only disappointment was the Thai tea, which tasted a little weak compared to what we've had at other Thai restaurants. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was good, and the portions were excellent. We'd be happy to return and try more items from the menu.

Cleanliness - dining area is clean. The waitstaff keeps this place in tip top shape. The only complaint I have, although not exactly about cleanliness, I would suggest that management take a look at the lock in the men's restroom. The Tom Kha had a lighter, more watery base than the rich coconut flavor I'm used to. I know this can vary by region, so it wasn't bad, just not my personal preference...The cream cheese crab wontons were decent and nicely presented. For drinks, I got the Mekhong Mojito and it was sweet and refreshing! For appetizers, we got the crispy squid and the crispy wonton- crispy squid was good but if you had to choose between the two, get the crispy wonton! As for the entree, I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and my friend ordered the spicy red snapper. The curry broth with coconut milk was fragrant and with the toppings that came on the side (i.e. lime, onions/shallots, mustard greens, etc) enhanced the dish. The flat egg noodles were bouncy and the shrimp was solid. If you're stuck between choosing a curry dish and a noodle dish, get the best of both worlds and order the Khao Soi! As for my friend's spicy red snapper, I tried a bite and the spices/texture in the dish complimented the fish very well. For dessert, we ordered the classic Mango Sticky Rice! They have that street food vibe as a well representation of their name, Rim Tanon, which means roadside. With dedicated parking that fills up quick during peak times, it may be difficult to locate parking as it is shared with a few other restaurants and the spaces are quite tight. We tried their appetizers including Salmon Rolls (flavorfully packed with cream cheese, salmon, and spinach in a crispy shell and loving that actually spicy mayo on the side), Thai Style Jerky (deep fried and sun dried marinated pork and beef served with sticky rice rolls and side spicy tamarind sauce, a bit too dry/chewy), Fried Tofu (perfect little triangles, so good by itself or with the side sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts), Chive Pancake (deep fried and chive packed triangles with a slight chew to it, great by itself or with it's spicy soy sauce companion). As for the mains, the Spicy Seafood Fried Rice is a good value as it was loaded with all sort of fruits of the sea (shrimp, squid, and mussel), with prominent lemongrass and kaffir lime aroma, but a bit wet or moist for a fried rice dish, the Crabmeat Omelet is served with a nice portion of lump crabmeat where you can taste the flavor of the seafood and add sriracha to liking, and the Beef Pad See Ew is made appetizing with wok charred flat rice noodles along with a savory blend of soy sauce, Chinese broccoli and egg. The portion size is alright and filling for a moderately hungry individual, though it would've been even better a tad bigger for those coming in hangry. I'll be back for more when I'm craving some modern Thai food and especially want to try their curry dishes. Service was quick and efficient, attentive to refills on drinks and friendly!
