    Beef pho
    Elizabeth R.

I've visited this location at Memorial City Mall near the children's play area. I got the beef pho and an order of Vietnamese eggrolls. The firewood came really hot and was very tasty. Came with the basil, sprouts and jalapeños. It had a nice zip to it. The Vietnamese eggrolls were Also very tasty. I think I can eat a whole tray of these no problem. The employee at the counter was cordial and be prepared my mail very quickly. If you want a nice healthy meal after a crazy weekend this is the place to come.

When at the Memorial mall, I usually visit this location to grab a Memorial Tea with boba but this time, my fam and I had enough time to stop in and try a quick lunch. We all ordered the soup and we were blown away ;) One of the things that really stood out to me about this wonton soup was how moist the wontons were. They were plump and perfectly cooked, with a delicate wrapper that melted in my mouth. The filling was flavorful and well-balanced, with a nice blend of pork and seasonings. In addition to the wontons, the other ingredients in the soup were all incredibly fresh. The veggies were crisp and had a great crunch to them, and the broth was full of flavor. And of course it was served piping hot. It was clear that the cook at this restaurant take great care in selecting the highest quality ingredients. Overall, I was blown away by the deliciousness of this wonton soup. It's definitely a hidden gem tucked away near the movie house away from the mall food court, and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. If you're looking for a quick lunch in the mall and a fan of wonton soup then you definitely need to give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!

    Chicken Pho with Peach Tea

I've had nothing but positive experiences dining here. I had the chicken pho with peach tea, and the broth they used for the pho was one of the best I've ever tasted at a Vietnamese restaurant. The staff were also pretty friendly too. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

    Chicken and vermicelli

I ordered plain vermicelli with chicken and I had the shrimp pho. Both were very good and flavorful. My broth was perfectly hot-- not too hot. The restaurant was clean and the young man working the register was very nice.

Beef pho with the few bean sprouts, green onion, and basil leaves I received.

Didn't even know this place existed until I happen to walk by it. I had the beef pho and my mom has the chicken and vegetable pho. I regret not taking a picture of the beef. It looked very low quality compared to what you would usually receive. Service was very quick, and we received are meals in about two minutes. The broth was good overall, but they really skimp on the side garnishes. If you're just in the mood for pho in the mall go for it, but don't go out of your way to try this place.

    Shrimp pho and Watermelon Juice
    Scarlet R.

There are only two best pho places in Houston and this place is the first best! I always get the shrimp pho and it is amazing, from the broth to the noodles. The Watermelon Juice is to die for, so refreshing and just the perfect amount of sweetness.

Pho with beef and Taro milk tea

So I work here in the mall and actually stumbled upon this place! I was a little skeptic at first with a pho place being in a mall. But changed real quick! I ordered the number 1, pho with beef. And it held up to other big pho places I've been to. The broth was right on point. Nice and silky and with all the fixings. The noodles were just the right texture. Needless to say I finished it. They also have a good selection of teas. I ordered the taro milk tea and it's the best by far I have had. Super creamy and the taro flavor was very present. Definitely recommend trying. Going to come back and try more items on the menu! There's not a lot of room to sit but they do offer dine in and take out

I HIGHLY recommend this place. Great customer service and the food here is amazing. To all the crawfish lovers, There is a special going for $5.99 lb. and they are pretty big with wonderful savory seasoning. This place also offers tasty Vietnamese food and amazing smoothies with tapioca. Please come check this place out. It is inside Memorial City Mall.

    $2 water bottle

Came in here to buy $2 water bottle because I love to support Vietnamese business. You really need to improve your customer service. Or maybe your cashier is not having a good day.

Not the best pho place. Used to be great but has really gone downhill. Portions are tiny and the cup of soup was halfway filled

Lots of seating, great wait staff, and the sandwiches are gigantic--as they should be for the price. $30 for a sandwich on average. We split an open face pastrami (which they brought an extra plate) and we are glad we did. The potato salad is tiny. Too much sandwich for one but not enough potato salad for two! The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet. We also had the apple pie alamode. Also pricey and gigantic. It was warm and delicious. Glad we tried this icon. We went at lunch and they get quite the crowd. You are not rushed at all. You can even take some bakery items to go--if you are too full to eat there. Amazing selection of cookies, rugala, black and white cookies and more.

A big part of the decades long success at Local Foods has been their commitment to consistency…read more Their casual setting with excellent service is one thing, but quality executed food that is simple and seasonal will always go a long way. Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
