She was incredibly kind, patient, and empathetic throughout the entire appointment. My cat wasn't feeling well, and she took the time to explain everything in detail, walk me through my options, and make sure I felt comfortable with the plan of care. She never made me feel rushed and was very understanding of my concerns as a pet owner. What really stood out to me was how naturally she handled my cat. You can tell she truly loves animals and has a special way with them. She even took the time to show me how to properly clean his ears so I could take better care of him at home. The follow-up call the next day to check on him meant a lot and really showed how much she cares about the animals she works with. This office is under new ownership since my previous review. None of the providers I used to work with are there. It's now corporate. There are some very caring techs but there is no real expertise available. We were told over four months last year that our cat was fine and "cats sometimes stop eating as much when they get older." My last visit there ended up with a same day referral to the emergency vet for a procedure that they couldn't do that would supposedly fix my cat's issue. When the emergency vet saw the cat and the exact same xray - different story. Let's just say I didn't go home with her. read more

A truly despicable practice that exploits and dehumanizes owners. I am in the middle of fighting a brain disease while also taking care of a medical issue for my dog who is getting worse. The practice agreed to rebook my "revisit" (essentially a discounted visit if for the same issue) and once I brought my dog in, they said they would have to upcharge me $50 to a regular visit price instead since I "missed" the revisit window. The vet tech, knowing I could barely afford the visit I intended to come in for said "it is what it is. that's what the provider said," without a modicum of compassion. The staff here is relatively friendly and mostly seems interested in playing with our well behaved and good natured dog. The vets themselves are cursory at best and the business always seem to find a way to charge you triple digits for anything under the sun, and are always pushing more treatment, more meds, more follow ups, and little solutions. There is no continuity between visits and most of the time there is spent waiting or having the vet tech wonder why you're there when they were the ones who advised coming back. Then the vet will drop in and you'll go through the whole ordeal again. It's a scatter-shot, trial & error approach that keeps you coming back and makes for a revolving door of charges. Never once felt like they took the time to know their client/patient and work towards determining the root cause of things and deliver long term solution oriented care. At the end of the day, the fact that the treatment rooms have advertisements for third party financing programs speaks volumes. I am so disappointed by my care from Dr. Khrystyna Vaziri and I do not recommend you see her or bring your pet here. I brought my cat in for an annual check up. After one tiny swat, the doctor refused to examine her yet still charged me for the appointment. How are you a vet and can't handle a measly cat swat? Like get gloves and get over it. Any cat is gonna be on edge at the vet! She also prescribed a bunch of medicine with little to no explanation. How do you prescribe medicine without even physically examining? I have nothing but kind things to say about this business and their staff. My dog, who is an anxious mess during vet visits, is always treated with patience and kindness by Dr. Dory and the vet techs, which I can only imagine is difficult to do with incredibly anxious dogs like mine. Any time I call their office with a question or concern about my dog, they always provide me with an answer, helpful guidance, or call me back in a timely manner with the requested information. I have been taking my dog to Your Pets Wellness in Bucktown for years - she's had multiple surgeries there. My most recent experience was awful, to be frank. The longtime head vet apparently left a few months ago and it's gone downhill over there. I questioned why prices had more than doubled and was treated to smack talk about the old owners - guys, insulting the vet practice I took my dog to for years and trusted just make you all look shady and petty. My dog was diagnosed with cancerous masses and I asked for a surgical estimate - the practice would only send me a $2700 dental surgery estimate that they apparently decided I wanted instead. I still don't have a surgical estimate despite calling for the 4th request for this document and getting Kendra in the line, who was rude and unprofessional. Go elsewhere, this is not the vet practice it once was. read more

I tried to setup the annual appointment for my dog due to repeated emails stating it was time for a return visit at the logan square location. There was no mention in the emails that they no longer had a vet at that site. Upon calling I learned that and later received a certified letter from "Frank" that said due to my dog's age and needs, they could no longer see her. These people are morons and now my dog is at risk of death due to their shortsighted-ness. I just got an email from the company that ships her prescription food and they said the prescription has ended and they will no longer ship her food. I don't have a car, so finding another vet I can walk to is very difficult. I also work about 60/hours a week including nights and weekends many weeks. "Frank" and Your Pet's Wellness appear to have no empathy toward pets dying. read more

I would not recommend this clinic for any dogs over 40lbs. We have been going here with our dog for the past 5 years and initially they were great. But since the past 2 years we have experienced a down fall with their clinic. Our dog has anal gland issues and has had the worst experiences getting her glands expressed. The staff say that she is too difficult to work with and had requested for us to use sedating drugs to calm her. We had tried giving her the medicine once, and they suggested a higher dose after the initial dosage caused her to pee herself uncontrollably. We now go to Kriser's and we have NEVER had any issues with their staff handling our dog. Most recently we took her in for a back leg injury and wanted to have them examine her. They took x-rays as they were needed. Claimed that her being 2lbs over weight was the problem, and decided it was arthritis. The whole day after the exam she wouldn't leave our sides and was walking slowly throughout the house. She was not this way prior to the appointment. Later we were trying to cuddle with her and as we touched her chest she yelped. She was in so much pain, this was likely caused from how they put her into a position for x-rays. I called that night left a voicemail and expressed our concerns. Next day they had called back, and I am of course upset because our dog came home from the vet in more pain than what she had gone in for. Mind you she had never had any chest pain before. The man on the phone called me emotional.... an extremely sexist comment. We asked for our money back because we were not satisfied with the services, they said that they could not do that and there was nothing they could do. They offered to take Lily back in to examine her chest but we do not trust their vet techs and do not feel comfortable letting them touch our dog. Honestly this was a nightmare. Great services for Cats but with how they treated our dog we won't even go back with our cats. A company that can't handle a distressed customer is not reassuring as pet care for everyone can be a sensitive topic. I hope no one else ever experiences this but I would not recommend. read more

**If you ever expect your pet may have an urgent problem or an issue which may require ongoing unschedule-able care, this is not the veterinarian for you.** "Your Pets Wellness" (the irony of the practice's name is not lost on me) will simply refuse to see your pet for any issue if their schedule is "full"; they claim to have no ability to accommodate any unscheduled visits. They will "allow" you to schedule a regular appointment, but they will not take into account the urgency or seriousness of the issue and the appointment will likely be many days or weeks in the future. This way of operating seems reasonable enough on the surface, but urgent issues often come up with pets. Some issues fall between regularly scheduled visits and emergency care. And having a vet with a reasonable amount of flexibility in their schedule for those kinds of issues with their existing patients is something I will always value and *require* as a responsible pet owner. The person answering the phone when my pet was in need was in no way sympathetic, and refused to acknowledge or take into consideration the seriousness of my appointment request. They just kept robotically repeating the next date and time when they could see my pet, which was very far outside of the range necessary for the issue. I also asked to be contacted by the office manager to speak with them directly about this particular issue (confirmed by the person on the call), and they have determined my issue was not important enough to call me back after three business days. It's fairly clear to me this business, which seems to be designed exclusively around profit, does not care about "My Pet's Wellness", me, or continuing to receive the money I've paid to them over the past 8 years. read more

Ive only left like 2-3 reviews total in all the years I've had Yelp, and this is the first bad one. This is based on an initial call I just had to inquire about neutering. Me: Hi there, my dog is not a patient there at the moment but he is due for his neutering surgery, and I wanted to ask if you are taking new patients and have any availability. Woman (with a totally rude attitude and tone): we are fully booked. Me: awww, the whole yea... (cut off) Woman: until at least mid May. Me: oh that's not so bad we are not in a big hurry. So could you tell me around how much do you usually charge? Woman (still super rude and condescending): we don't give prices over the phone. You need a medical appointment to get that in person. Me: I understand, but not even a ballpark figure of around how much the total cost is, between something and something? Woman: nope. I can tell you the medical appointment is $69. Me: ok thanks, bye. I've been calling around to get a good price and no one has either given me an attitude or deny that basic info. What would I go pay for a medical visit if in the end it turns out to be beyond what I would like to have to pay (much more than other places)? Maybe that's why they don't give an approximate over the phone. I'd like to think this doesn't have something to do with my very mild accent. I just can't wrap my head around her attitude. I have been going to this vet clinic for the past few years - albeit not often - and every time I went, I had a pleasant experience. My first vet was Dr. Jessica back in 2018 but she ended up leaving for unknown reasons. I went back in 2021 for a checkup and was scheduled to see Dr. Stricker because I have a senior cat but upon my visit, I was switched to Dr. Chatterjee. I have a few complaints that need to be shared: 1. During this visit, the staff and vet were caught off guard by my cat's aggressiveness despite having told them and failed to acquire x-rays. They did not know how to calm my cat or handle him. I have never heard my cat scream so loudly and in such fear before. At first I thought it was another pet because I had not heard him scream that way before, but then realized it was him and demanded he be brought back. 2. I had to bring him in for a second visit a couple days later with gabapentin for a re-do of the x-rays. Once the radiologists read the images, Dr. Chiu called me to provide diagnosis and results. Dr. Chatterjee did follow up once he was back but basically told me that there's nothing more than he can do and to go to a specialist. I asked why they did not inform me of his higher thyroid level back in 2018/2019, even though it was within range, and he said that is protocol and it's not of concern when a patient is overweight. HOWEVER, knowing that two of the main chronic illnesses in cats, specifically senior cats, is hyperthyroidism and heart disease...this should have been taken more seriously. I DO NOT agree with protocol. The purpose of being a healthcare provider is to find preventative methods, and not simply manage diseases once they have developed. Now, I know Dr. Chatterjee was not my vet back in 2018/2019 but he did say he would have done the same if that were the case today. If I had known his thyroid was in the high-end range, I could have taken some measures prior to him developing hyperthyroidism and any co-morbid diseases. 1. I STRONGLY urge vets to rethink this approach and take a more proactive role in preventing common diseases when they see something is veering high or low and notify parent/owner of everything. If I had seen the results myself, I would have asked many more questions and been proactive. I became privy to this information after asking the records be sent to the ER and myself. 3. Based on results, it was suggested I take my cat to the ER for a chest tap. The ER sent records to my vet and I did not hear anything from my vet for over two weeks. I fully expected a call asking how everything went and what my next steps would be. Instead, I called to speak with Dr. Chatterjee about this report and why I need to go to an internal medicine specialist. I spoke to a vet tech because he was out and, because she was not aware of the situation, said she would have him call me back when he was in the office next. He did not call me back. It took 3-4 days for the tech to call me back to say, in more words than this, that they are not specialists and they cannot provide any further care for my cat. I truly was so excited to have found a great vet clinic after years at a different clinic but I was so incredibly disappointed and angered by the handling of my visits and my cat's results. The vet techs and assistants are wonderful here but the bed-side manner and overall professionalism of the vet I was scheduled with was wanting. Maybe it was just a one-off experience the couple times I was there. Maybe it was a mismatch in patient-doctor. Who knows. Since these visits, I have developed relationships with other specialists and vets, and they have been so warm, understanding, and patient that it's hard to say it was a complete mis-match but missing skills as a healthcare professional. 5 stars for the vet techs and assistants! read more

This review is long overdue only because there were so many good things to say that I kept waiting until I had time to sit down and list them all! We were clients of Dr. Miller and her team back in 2015 and prior, and we still have not found a vet since then that stands out as much as YPW. Dr. Jessica Miller is by far the vet that we trust most, with the right balance of scientific knowledge and a common sense approach. She stays up on her research. You know when there is something more complex or pricey she recommends you can trust her and if there is a simple over-the-counter solution you can count on her knowing about it and suggesting it first. I never felt the need to "double-check" her suggestions as I've felt with other vets we've gone to after our move because something didn't feel right. She also saved us money on numerous occasions, giving us a deal on multiple exams, suggesting we go to the vet school in Urbana for our cat's nasal surgery, etc. For this particular surgery, her follow-up care was comprehensive and loving. I recall talking to her on her cell phone several times before and afterward and never feeling rushed or like my questions were too much. She is thorough and informative and I have no doubt she genuinely cares about your pets as if they were her own. We also had a dental cleaning in-house and they did a great job. We weren't concerned leaving our cats with her or her staff, which can't be said for other vets. Since our move 5 years ago, we've reached out periodically when we've had concerns arise with our kitties and Dr. Miller still continued to give us valuable and straight-forward advice. I wish we could hire her as a "cat consultant" to continue getting her weigh-in as needed. Maybe it's been too long since we've moved now, but I wouldn't doubt that if I called today she would offer something useful to set us on the right path. I don't know how much has changed since we first went here, but I can say that Dr. Miller is trustworthy and good at what she does and this vet is definitely worth a shot. Even if you had an experience that wasn't perfect, this is also the vet that would be worth giving a second chance. All vets seem to have issues now and again with customer service, communication/follow-through and pricing, especially if they are a busy vet. When it comes down to it though, if you can trust the actual care and advice your pet receives, it is worth some of the other occasional hassles. Our friend recommended this vet to us and they have been great for our troublesome new puppy over the past 4 months we've had her. We've faced giardia, pinkeye, roundworm, eating some multivitamins she shouldn't have, and just having a wrecked GI system for weeks afterwards as a result. Through it all, your pets wellness provided sound advice to help us best address our pets needs. We were hesitant to get pet insurance at first but we talked over the pros and cons with the vet and opted to get it. So glad we did as we've had to go thorough a couple grand in vet bills we otherwise would have had to fully cover. The vet was always able to answer any insurance company questions to make sure we got reimbursed. Also, after major issues, the vet usually follows up with a phone call to see how our dog is doing. If we have any followup questions, they are usually able to take our info and call us back the same day. Our vet specifically is Dr. Dory Stricker. She is super nice, knowledgeable, and truly cares about making sure our pet is happy and healthy. I would say that if you do have multiple issues with your pet to try to schedule your appointments with the same vet if possible as some things can get a little muddy in translation if you're bouncing between vets for every visit. I was referred to this clinic by a friend and boy, am I glad I've taken my pup here. The vets and the technicians are all very friendly, nice and handle the dogs very well. They really educate you as a dog parent from food, calories, nail clipping, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, etc. The place is clean and they offer many services from lab, fecal analysis, spay/neuter, microchip, etc. They offer annual wellness care plans which the price vary if you have an adult dog or a puppy. I enrolled my puppy for about $95 per month for one year. This includes the spay, all vaccination, some labs, fecal analysis, unlimited nail clippings, and unlimited office exams. I'd definitely recommend for puppy owners. Overall, it is a compassionate clinic and I feel like my little fur baby is in great hands. read more

I recently adopted a puppy and had to settle on a vet. YPW had decent reviews and was close so I decided to go with them. My first two visits (standard vaccinations) went well and the staff was very friendly. Then my puppy was actually in need of medical attention.. My puppy began to have terrible diarrhea and was unusually lethargic. I called YPW for advice and to hopefully bring her in. I was told I would receive a call back shortly. After 6 calls across an entire day, not receiving any response (despite being told I would each time), I realized YPW genuinely did not care about my pet's health. After 48 hrs of diarrhea and a full 24 hrs without any response whatsoever from YPW it became very clear I needed to find a new vet. I could never in good faith recommend this business to anyone knowing that they give ZERO regard to a puppy in need of medical attention. read more

My dog had an infection of sorts and needed antibiotics. The first round, vet said at least 4 weeks. Went to get a refill during those four weeks and they were out of the specific dosage my dog needed. Costing me an extra $20. 4 weeks of those antibiotics didn't work, so we moved on to a new one. The vet only gave me what they had in stock (10 days worth) and told me by the time I needed a refill they would have more. This prescription cost me $87. I call back when we were getting low and asked for a refill. They still don't have the drug in stock, even though they were aware that I'd be back in 10 days looking for this refill. So I had to get it filled at Walgreens. The drugs cost me $195 at Walgreens -for another 10 day dose. So in the course of about 6 weeks, I have paid $128 more based on the fact they cannot keep the drugs they have their patients on in stock. ($20 for the first + an extra $108 this time) I called about my dismay, and their response was very defensive: 1. They don't control the prices Walgreen charges. (I shouldn't have to be going to Walgreens in the first place) 2. The drugs expire quickly, so what if I hadn't come back for a refill? They would have wasted that inventory. (It was already established I was going to need to come back for a refill when I left my office visit that day.) 3. The manager I was speaking to kept claiming "Well I wasn't in the room with you and the vet, so I don't know what was said". (This isn't some conspiracy I'm brewing up... The vet prescribed an antibiotic, and said I would need to come back for more. And here I am coming back for more. I'm not sure why anyone would think I'm lying about that or refuse to believe what their customer is saying to them) I get that things happen and can fall through the cracks. However, the conversation I had with the manager was very unpleasant and they had no intentions to rectify the situation. They refused to take any responsibility for failing to stock the drugs. The only solution brought to the table was that in the future I could use an online pet prescription website, which offers discounts, to order any future refills. With this prescription I will have at most two more refills. And I think its safe to assume that's not going provide me a net savings to cover what I've lost. Also, I have spent the past year spending $60 a month for their wellness program, but apparently being a loyal member to their office carries no weight in how you are treated. As for care, I do believe that Your Pets Wellness is excellent. But, the care is not affordable. I wish I could continue to taking my cats here for their care, but I just can't afford it. The preventative care that the doctor suggests (but really makes your feel awful if you dont do) costs $1400 per cat per year. For me, that is $2800 and that does not include any colds, eye infections, allergy problems that may happen to my cats during the year. She suggests that a cat 7 years + have blood and urine ($300) work done every six months and then a dental ($800 +) done once a year. LIke I said, if you can't afford it or need to push it off a little bit, you are made to feel guilty to the point that you just give in. On a good note, she is very thorough and great with the cats. She totally cleaned out one of my cats ears (no vet ever did that before) and it impressed me. She also worked with me extensively to try to find the right diet for him as he has had struvite crystals plus allergies in the past. I really wish that I could still bring my cats here, but the doctor needs to understand that life is a balance and if someone has financial concerns or just doesn't want blood work done on their cat every 6 months, that she also needs to compassionate with the person, not just the pet. I moved here from NYC 2 years ago and the prices at Your Pets Wellness are higher than NYC prices. That also concerns me. Finally found a vet that we (Humphrey, my dog) likes! I did some research on Yelp, of course and decided on Your Pet's Wellness. Made an appointment for a check up & got in right away. The receptionist was so kind as to go through all the costs with me and answer all of my questions. The location is convenient, it is literally right off the highway at Damen. Took no time at all to get there from River North. We walked in and were greeted by the receptionist (cannot remember her name) but she was very nice. Filled out some forms and was escorted in to a room to wait for the vet. The vet tech came in and went over a bunch of stuff with us, she was also very pleasant. Humphrey took right to her. We also had the pleasure of meeting Science the "house cat". He is this lil old man with no teeth who meows really loud (and often) and he wears this funny hat with ear flaps. SO adorable, such a love. Anyways the vet, Dr. Stricker comes in and did her exam on Humphrey while thoroughly explaining everything to me. I am always hesitant to give my dog all those shots...he is little and is mostly an indoor dog. (his choice). She was really kind and answered all my dumb questions. Finished all of that and Humphrey was a little trooper! Didn't cry once!! For those that know him, know he can be quite dramatic. Then....I got the bill. WHOA $415.00! I mean...WHOA. Wasn't expecting that, especially after getting the "quote" before coming in. But, whatcha gonna do. I was in search of a new vet, for a second opinion at least. I read all these wonderful reviews and decided to check out Your Pet's Wellness for myself. My cat has kidney disease, and our former vet had me giving him 4 pills a day, way more than anyone wants shoved down their throat, and couldn't figure out what his hypercalcemia was caused by. Plus, there was an issue with a surgery site that hadn't healed properly, and I wanted to see how it could be fixed. I just wanted to hear that there were options for his care that wouldn't be so stressful on him. Dr Miller knew just how to treat my cat when we came in. No poking or prodding until we had talked and he was comfortable in the room. We discussed a lot of ideas, she listened and had pretty quick answers for everything, she'd seen cats like him before and knew what to recommend. By the next week we had both the cats on an all-wet diet and things were already looking up. She recommended a board certified surgeon and surgery was scheduled to fix the issue. Now, a couple months later, my cat is happier than ever. His new diet has made him energetic and fluffy. He's healed up from surgery and we are ready to go in for another check-up. The medicine he's now on consists of psyllium and an antacid mixed into his food, and only twice a week do we give him a small dose of chicken-flavored meds for his hypercalcemia. He doesn't even know it's in there. My neighbor/friend/catsitter remarked that he's a totally different cat. He's had a rough summer and I'm so glad Dr Miller has helped in his becoming healthy and happy again. He's finally living the life of a normal cat. I just have to tell you: if you ever question your vet's decisions, or have a hunch that it's not a good fit, don't be afraid to seek other opinions. I'm so glad I did. After leaving from our first visit I knew I'd made the right decision in seeking out a new vet. Dr Miller and the staff at YPW are so wonderful. They're all very easy to contact by email and phone. They treat the animal, not just the illness. I can't reiterate enough how all these other reviews are spot on, and I would not hesitate to recommend Your Pet's Wellness. read more

Having moved around and switched vets multiple times, I can say that Dr. Miller is by FAR the best vet I have been to. I had no problems getting a prompt appointment for my dog Lily, who needed some routine vaccinations as well as some labwork done. When I arrived, I had no wait. I was brought back to an exam room, where the vet tech (who also was super nice!) took Lily's history from me and updated her file with old vet records I had faxed in. Lily was very scared, but when Dr. Miller came in, she picked up Lily, gave her some peanut butter, and therefore won a fan for life. Lily had 3 vaccines, all delivered by Dr. Miller, and didn't even wince. Dr. Miller's manner with my dog, as well her explanations to myself, really went above and beyond everything I was expecting. She is so comprehensive in her care. I was out of town when Lily's labs came back, and Dr. Miller emailed me with the results and an explanation. She also included her email and a phone number in case I had questions and needed to follow up with her. Overall, Dr. Miller is a great vet, with reasonable prices and flexible hours. As an added bonus, she also does housecalls if you ever need one. read more

Dr. Stricker is very patient and thorough in answering questions. I have a scaredy cat, and they really try to accommodate her and make her feel comfortable. AS a human bonus, there are snacks and drinks in the front lobby :) Parking is difficult -- they do have limited parking, but if that's taken, the surrounding residential streets are very packed. The office itself is very clean and bright. My fur baby had some teeth removed, and I was a very spastic cat mommy, but they were very reassuring. It was costly, but they do also offer payment plans if that is a need. read more

Oh boy, I love this place! I was new to the area and needed a new vet for my very, VERY timid kitty. He needed a yearly checkup and also seemed to be having some breathing issues. I called and made the appointment for just a few days after calling. As soon as i walked in (with a very unhappy cat in a carrier), I felt at ease. This place looks like a day care! As soon as we let Lloyd out, he was exploring the room and seemed to feel very at ease; he even tried to knock the pictures off the walls [cats are jerks. :) ]. Dr. Stricker put him right at ease while she was checking him out. She was great with him, very knowledgable and very gentle. He didnt try to run, wasn't scared at all, and even purred! It was like he was a different cat. They walked me through their procedures, their pricing, and their payment plans. They answer emails within a day, everything was very affordable, all the staff was friendly and kind, and most importantly, my nervous kitty was extremely comfortable! I didn't think it was possible to enjoy a vet visit, but I definitely enjoyed this one! I will bring my pets here as long as I live in Chicago, and will be telling all my friends too! Dr Chatterjee and the staff at Your Pet's Wellness did a great job taking care of my dog. He had to get a professional cleaning & extractions were needed unexpectedly and they made sure Winston was comfortable, prevented an infection with an antibiotic vaccine, and sent us home with clear instructions & medicine to manage his recovery. The next day they called to check in on him and make sure we didn't have any concerns. Great service and care for our dog-child. He is feeling great & back to normal just a few days later! read more

My 21-year-old cat took a turn for the worse on a weekend, and I knew that it was time to put her down so that she wouldn't suffer. All I knew for sure was that I needed to have it done soon, and I wanted it done in my home, where the cat has lived her entire life. I called Dr. Jessica Miller at 9 a.m. on a Monday morning, and she was at my home by 3 p.m. that very same day. She was professional, courteous, kind, and compassionate. She has the most wonderful approach to euthanasia. She gave my cat an injection of "happy juice," and allowed me to have about 20-25 minutes with my now very comfortable cat before having to say goodbye. This has not been my experience with other vets. They euthanize the pet too quickly and do not allow you the time to say goodbye. This was wonderful! Even more unbelievably, while I was saying goodbye to my beloved cat, Dr. Miller made a clay print of my cat's paw, which I later baked in the oven to have as a keepsake. I now treasure this keepsake! What a great idea! In summary, Dr. Jessica Miller is the vet that every pet owner has been searching for! read more

I can't even begin to express how wonderful this place is. Our dog is blind and scared of other dogs so it could be a stressful experience bringing Roscoe here, but the staff made it anything but that. They always accommodated us for nail trims at a time when few to no dogs were around (this included early arrival for them back from lunch)! Every time we walked in the door we were greeted so warmly. They loved on Roscoe so much. Now living in the suburbs and having to go to another vet, it's a disappointing experience and my husband and myself find ourselves missing Your Pets wellness terribly!!!! The staff at Your Pet's Wellness and Dr. Miller are really really great. We had just moved to the city when our child, I mean cat, was vomiting and stopped eating and using the box, and of course we realized this the day we were leaving to go to a funeral out of town. Thank you Yelp! Luckily they board just cats and had space the day we came in. They were so accommodating and we were able to leave knowing he was in good hands and being taken care of and monitored while we were gone. They called us with updates multiple times to let us know how he was doing. Over the course of the next 2 months, we made several trips back, had tests and an ultrasound done (Dr. Miller recommended this over X-rays, more bang for the buck). We have finally figured out Cash's diet, a daily dose of pepcid, and have eliminated any cancers or GI diseases and he is happily eating, using the box, and not vomiting. They worked with us diligently to ensure we were informed of our options, potential causes, concerns, etc. and called to check in on him as we were trying different things to get him to a state of wellness. We have certainly found Cash's vet in the Windy City! read more
