I normally have a great experience at Your Pie. Ordered on line a 14" pizza and 2 double scoops of pumpkin gelato. I arrived at my scheduled time to find my pizza had just gone into the oven and they did not have the pumpkin gelato that was advertised on the online system that I ordered. I asked for cookies and cream and they did not have that either. I told them I did not want the gelato. Thinking they would come over to take it off my bill. But no the server talked to the cook I think that was was upset and the pull my undercooked pizza in a box and handed it to me to just get rid of me. I would have stayed to get the refund but could not hear anyone over the trivia music and announcer. I did not see any that looked like they were in charge. You need to up your game. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! I was quite excited to hear that this restaurant was opening in Alpharetta following the closing of Pieology. It was the first build your own pizza bar in the area and the first time that I was able to actually go out and order my very own custom white pizza. When I hear white pizza, I immediately think of a rich Alfredo sauce and lots of veggies. This is not something I can really purchase in a restaurant so I usually just make it at home. With Your Pie, I was hoping to find a pizza with a great crust, a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce and a generous amount of veggies. The last one I prepared at home was made with spaghetti squash, mixed peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, black olives and turkey. I then drizzled a homemade Alfredo garlic sauce all over the top and it was mind blowing! It was different and delicious and how I prefer to experience my pizza. Regular pizza just bores me to bits as it is either too greasy, salty and heavy on the meat and cheese or pretentious and lacking in substance. When you walk into this restaurant, you will walk over to your left and straight ahead to the counter where you will place your order. There is a large menu overhead but if you need additional time to consider your order, I say just step to the side and grab a paper menu to read before hopping back in line. As I reviewed their menu, I noticed that they had no Alfredo sauce, (how did I miss that?) so I did not order my own pizza. My husband ordered a custom pizza with pepperoni, sausage, ham and veggies and ricotta cheese, while my daughter ordered the chicken barbecue pizza. It did not take long for the pizzas to arrive but my daughter's pizza arrived incomplete with no chicken and no cilantro. I returned it to the counter and another one was prepared. This time it was perfect and she really enjoyed it. Their pizza crust is thin and light without that tough and chewy situation. However, I found it to be too thin and light and not something that would hold up to the amount of toppings I generally like on my pizza. They need to actually double that crust. I tend to use three to four times the amount of ingredients because I like to eat my pizza as a complete meal with my veggies on the top instead of in a salad on the side. This pizza would not be filling enough to satisfy me, my husband or my son. It is a kid sized 10 inch which is an adult snack. We like to "feel" our pizza! In addition to pizza, Your Pie also has chopped salads, paninis and gelato. Their beverages are dispensed in the standard dispenser but I thought that my daughter's beverage tasted odd, (which is probably just the nature of dispenser beverages). They have a small bar area with televisions and beer and seemed to be a popular attraction for the adult males. Overall, this restaurant is very casual and will have a great appeal for the high-school set which is perfect because this particular area is crawling with them. Also, there aren't a lot of interesting dining options in this area so they should do very well in this new location. *** I am a stickler for evenly distributing ingredients and I expect to taste every single ingredient in every single bite. They fell short here. *** The ricotta cheese on my husband's pizza was actually very good but was sort of deposited in globs. Personally I would have rather had it spread over my entire pizza so that I could have a more balanced bite. ***Your PIe is exactly that: your pie, not quite my pie! If you want the worlds worst service and tiny portions for a full price go to Your Pie in Milton. The canton one is so much better, food and service wise. This is embarrassing for the up and coming area of Alpharetta/Milton. I was served ice cream in a salad dressing mini cup and charged as if I got 3 scoops from brusters. The waiter walked up to the table so close his crotch was in my younger sisters food, all for him to say "are you good here?" and leave. This was a horrid experience. Don't waste your money here, go to canton if you wanted "your pie" or go down the street to Brooklyn Joes .5 miles down HWY 9. I want to compare this "restaurant" to McDonald's but that's just not fair to McDonal's. This place disgust me. Jacob and Justin need to make this right. read more

Must have been an off night. Came here on our way to church with 3 friends. Only one of the group had been here before and spoke very highly of the place. Guess we hit the odd off night. The concept is really good. You get to choose all your ingredients and crust and get a freshly baked pie. The issue we had was the staff was incompetent on this night. My girlfriend is gluten free so she filled out her card with all the options circled that she wanted. Her pizza turned out fine. Mine was where they screwed up. I was filling out my card and the young lady said, "don't worry about that, just tell us what you want." Told them I wanted the white dough and then what ingredients I wanted. Another young lady made a comment about gluten free to my girlfriend, who replied, I'm gluten free, he isn't. The look on the young lady's face making my pizza should have told me something was up. Apparently since my girlfriend is GF she assumed I was and never heard my request for the white dough. When my pizza came out it was on GF dough. Told the lady that wasn't what I ordered. She tried to argue and the other 3 at our table confirmed that wasn't my order. They took it back. Here is the really crazy thing. About 10 minutes latter they brought me another pizza. It was the same damn thing. I just threw up my hands and decided not to fight the battle anymore. The GF pizza crust was okay, it just wasn't my order. If I hadn't already paid for it I would have walked out. So two lessons learned here. One is to make sure you look at your bill. I just signed my credit card receipt without doing that. They did ring me up for two GF pizzas. My mistake. Second is to either complete the order card so your pizza is done right and you have something tangible to prove what your ordered or avoid going when you have nothing but high school kids working the store. The kids were nice but just not competent for this business. My girlfriend will likely be back and there are enough loyal customers to keep this business going. Ordered lunch for my kids, ordered the family bundle which is four pizzas and an order of cheese sticks. Received the pizzas but no cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were for my child to eat as a meal since he can't eat sauce on pizzas. The general manager gave me two options: Drive to the restaurant to pick up the missing cheese sticks, note I would have to leave all children at home while I make this drive to Milton. Second option was refund. I used to live off of Your Pie when I lived in Athens. GO DAWGS! It was one of my favorite pizza options. And, let's be honest, when you're a college student, do you eat anything besides pizza?! So when I saw that I was getting a Your Pie right down the road from my house, I was experiencing a little bit of nostalgia and wanted to check it out. I have to say I was pretty impressed with this location. All the employees worked together like a well-oiled machine and the customer service was superb. A lot of restaurants lack this and this was nice to see it. I walked in the restaurant on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty busy, but I swear I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes--pretty impressive! I ordered my usual pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. I asked for extra banana peppers and the employee did not hesitate to put more on my pie. Being a graduate of UGA, I have been to many Your Pie locations in the past few years. I can't say enough good things about the new Your Pie in Milton. The food is always delicious, the customer service is spot on and the craft beer selection is impressive. Any place that has 14 craft beers on tap is alright in my book.
