Unfortunately, at this time in my life I have to have storage units. So therefore if I have no choice but to store my belongings in. I choose to be a renter with Your Space Self Storage on Pioneer. I find that Carol is very knowledgeable of her job and patient. She is usually attentive to me once I pull in, she knows I will need to get roller carts, she will be there waiting to get my ID. Now, the favorite part of being a renter is the attentiveness of John and Tony these men will not only assist me with my heavy items, but they give suggestion on how to eliminate much of my clutter. When they see that I am super tired they will take the carts back, so that I only have to pick-up my ID. Coffee is usually available and cold water too. Carol, John and Tony are very patient people and a pleasure to rent from. Most people that rent storage units are under some sort of pressures and those three make your burdens lighter. Well, we moved out of storage on 12/6/12 and very confused and upset about the exiting process. FYI, if you have an automatic payment and you plan to move during the middle of the month, then cancel the automatic payment prior to the beginning of that billing period. Then just pay for the days you're there, otherwise you end up paying for the entire month! That's where the confusion lies, I was never told that...I swear they told me they prorate the days that you are there...but I was repeatedly told by Carla, the manager, "no refunds"...then she took it so personal as if I was taking her money...she barely looked at me when I asked about asking the district manager or when I asked her to check out the storage unit after it was emptied. Come on, this is a business...no need to be upset. I'm just asking for a fair deal...when no one has told me that they need advance notice, and then I'm told by the call center for a 10 day notice and the actual location 14 day notice...it's a bit upsetting since no one told me....yes, the contract said it (in fine print)...so read it! Several times I asked prior to moving, but no one mentioned it. I know they insist they told me, but I don't recall it. And I have a ridiculously great memory! Anyways, the district manager is helping me try to refund for the 19 days that I'm not occupying the storage....so we shall see....I'll write an update on that if it works out...if it doesn't, then I'll stick with the 2 stars! read more

This place is nice but the prices keep going up which kind of suck. If it wasn't for their maintenance guy being there Juan I probably would have got it another spot somewhere else a long time ago. He's not only helpful but he's very smart and knows his stuff I am a woman so on occasion I've needed help from a man and one's been there to help me out and I really appreciate it he's actually one of the nicest people that work there he's not a creeper or anything. He's just a very nice and helpful person I don't know what I would do if he was to be gone but I hope he's there forever! Out of all the storage places I've been to by far this is the best place but mostly because of Juan. He makes my business all the worth while. Thanks Juan for your kindness and your help! One of the complaints I have is that the hours kind of suck I wish they were open later so I can come by a little bit later after work and not have to worry about getting locked in. They used to have hours that were later for some spots but they did away with it which sucks. I wish the owners would you something to provide a better time frame for those who work late anyways thank you have a good day read more

Great location right off freeway and they have a lot of awesome specials! Facility is clean and looks new. Affordable and owner is friendly and accommodating to needs. I highly recommend. Oh they also offer free moving truck if needed and free for first 20 miles. You can access your storage rental 7am-7pm daily. read more

The ladies in the office are very helpful and super nice. I like getting to know the ladies they are very courteous. I got to look at two storage units and chose one that fit my needs. Daniel was very nice and helpful. Your space Self Storage is super clean and all the the units are very big there is easy access to and from my storage unit I would recommend this business to all my friends and family that needs storage for their personal use. This storage facility has some MAJOR communication problems with their independent "Call Center" in TX. Apparently the only way to reach a call center rep is when the facility in Norwalk let doesn't pick up and the call rolls over to the call center. And when you do speak to the call center they tell you that they cannot call the facility. All communication is apparently done by email. I was quoted rates for two sizes of drive up units both with a move-in promotion by the call center. The next day I toured the facility. I was wowed with the appearance. Wide, concrete, extremely clean driveways and beautiful clean units. I can honestly say that this is the best maintained storage facility I have ever seen. Kudos to John, the maintenance man. He absolutely LOVES his job and it shows. Not such kind words for the office staff, Carol and Leslie. They offered little help in getting me the units and terms that were quoted by the call center. We don't have, we can't do, etc.etc. In the end I feel that I was misled. It took me at least 5 hours on the phone and three visits to the office to straighten out something that could have been handled by Carol with one 5 minute phone call. Overall a very frustrating experience and a terrible way to treat the Customer. Again, Big Ups to John who encouraged me not to give up. read more

I rented a small unit today BECAUSE when I called for information this morning Carol that answered the phone was AMAZING. Great customer service, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable of the options. I had called 10 different companies over the last 3 weeks in Whittier, Norwalk and Sante Fe Springs. Carol had the best prices, best customer service and CLEANEST storage complex I have ever seen. And In the last 7 yrs I have used 4 different storage companies. When I arrived I was greeted by Carol and her assistant Jeanette who was also great. Filling out all the paperwork with Jeanette was handled quickly....I would recommend this storage facility 100%. read more

I am very disappointed in this business and I'm thinking of moving to a different storage I had changed my card a few weeks ago I called several times to this facility and I kept getting redirected to the main corp office I have them my new number and told them I needed to change my card number before my payment was due the guy even asked me again what my number was and told me that the office would give me a call back I never heard from anyone called again and the same thing then finally I got ahold of someone here at this office and they said they were charging me for late fees because that was my fault like really I don't work there they should had called back or got my information down correctly then they wanted to charged me $30 for a new lock plus to get it cut off I think that was even more ridiculous poor service and customer service !!!very disappointed... read more

I had this storage for about 8 years since it was A ALL Storage and have never had a problem even while their remodeling of the storage to what it is now. I went in to give my notice to vacate, which I thought was a month. I was told it was 2 weeks and that I only had to pay pro rate up front and if not out by then pay the remainder of the month. I have been through 4 Managers, either paid cash or check in person or by credit card over the phone. Great place for business has always had security from dogs brought in overnight in the begining to total security cameras and monitor with alarm alerts and has always had coded security gates. read more

Ive been to several storage facilities and this is one of the top. Management attends quick and property is maintained very clean.

I have been renting for past month half and it is a great and secure location. I like the facility and the storage size that I got which was a good deal when I signed up. For the past few weeks I have been coming in late and if it wasn't for the maintenance guy that is always here I would of been stuck several times. I got the unit for my business but the gate closes at 7pm and I end up staying late because I have a office warehouse in Buena Park and finish my work around 6 and I have rush to the storage to get my inventory and I can't work with 45 minutes or so that is not enough time. I had went in the office to ask for after hours but the manager denied me which I don't know why and doesn't make sense and I mentioned this was for business only no personal use. So unfortunately I will be giving my notice soon because my duration is ending with the storage and I need place where I can go in and out whenever I need too. read more

ive had my stuff with space self storage for over a year already and I honestly have no complains my stuff is still there in the same condition I left it. the hours are great never had any problems. the security gates and everything are awesome I would really recommend to everyone. its easy, safe, and truly reliable. I will keep stating with them till I need a storage for all my things which I care for and really appreciate having them safe everyday. read more

i rented a unit at this place when they were offering the 3 months half off the regular price. after looking around, not too many places had an offer like this which is a pretty good deal. the place is pretty clean and the isles are very wide. there was a light switch that was on a timer next to my unit. the unit i got was a 10x20 and it was very clean. the paperwork process took like 15 to 20 minutes to complete. and when i checked out, it was quick and i had no issues what so ever. the automatic payment stopped right away. the only thing i did not like was that you had to be a tenant at least one day in order for you to be able to reserve the truck they let you use to move your stuff in. if you do use their truck, you must leave a cash deposit and show proof of insurance. also i had the option of declining the insurance for the stuff in the unit which i did because my homeowners insurance covered it. as for the people in the office, the two ladies were friendly. they were nice normal people that have a job to do and rules to follow. overall, if i ever need a storage unit again, i would look into doing business here again. read more
