Cockroach alert! We literally saw a cockroach behind the bar crawling between drink station area. We literally were in shock and left. Clean your place! It's disrespectful serving customers consumables while your place has cockroaches crawling around! It's disgusting and not at all sanitizing! It's absolutely gross!

Cute little coffee shop with nice seating areas and peaceful vibes~ A great place to study or just hangout! Not to mention the quick service and the most friendly and funny baristas here ESPECIALLY TOM, IF YOU SEE HIM JUST KNOW YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF I got a hot latte with oat milk and it was soooooo smooth and yummy!! The pastries here are also fresh and delicious, would highly recommend this place:)

A small, hidden coffee shop, in the Bowery/East Village area. I had some time to kill before I checked out of my hotel, so I popped into Yours Truly to get some brew and answer some emails. While the coffee was decent, I wouldn't say this is a coffee shop I'd spend a lot of time in. It's a bit worn down, there's not a lot of space, and the free wi-fi is only good for 30 minutes. Hey, maybe they didn't design this space as a place to hang around in for a while, but I just didn't feel like it was a welcoming environment. The barista was also a bit rude when I asked for oat milk on the side and for the wifi password. Maybe this is a common thing for baristas to be standoffish and rude in New York, but this Canadian wasn't used to it. If I'm in the area next, I'll probably skip out on this spot and walk a few extra blocks to find some place a bit more inviting.

Lovely neighborhood coffee spot with warm, attentive service & some out-of-the-ordinary beverage offerings... not to mention the occasionally hilarious signage.

Iced matcha latte, two breakfast tacos (The B.E.C. & The Classic), and an almond croissant. Hit the spot!

I rarely write reviews, but the counter guy at Yours Truly (on a Monday afternoon. Black guy with cool dreds) was so lovely, I had to give him a shout out! Sorry I didn't get his name . If you're in Soho, near Spring and Bowery, and looking for good-sized, inexpensive sustenance on the go, definitely stop in for delicious breakfast tacos ALL DAY , including a vegan option, great smelling coffee, matcha lattes (that's what I had), gorgeous pastries, and service with a warm and welcoming vibe!

The nicest baristas in town. There. I said it. I remember that fateful morning when they tore down the butcher paper and I was BLESSED with a coffee shop They've been nothing but the best since opening up - providing yummy treats and delicious coffee (Intelligentsia beans!) while also providing a smile. I can't say I'm a daily regular but every time I visit, they make my day better.

Yo fuck this place. I walked in literally rubbing my eyes failing to find iced coffee on the menu in august, I asked if they had it, and what sizes? "Well if you want a latte" no just an iced coffee. I suspect it's not there so people instinctively just order cold brew. Anyhow if that's not lame enough I asked for it "with a splash of cream, like the color of cardboard". She came back with what looked like a milkshake, like so white I involuntarily laughed a quick burst and immediately said "sorry, I didn't mean to, maybe a little darker , like just a splash (I had already shown the cardboard to avoid confusion)". It came back still white so I gave up. Literally tasted like nothing.

Good coffee, quick eats + the Cranberries? #inlove

The Nutella latte and the breakfast tacos are a must-try here! I came in on recommendation from the last review poster, Mary, who had the breakfast tacos and my god was she right. They're SO good! Luckily enough for me, this shop was walking distance from where I was staying. I'm glad I made my way into the shop before saying my goodbyes to the city because they were filling enough that I didn't eat until on the plane ride home.

Ten Thousand Coffee - Iced Matcha Einspanner (~$7)

The matcha flavor came through nicely, while the green tangerine added a bright, citrusy flavor that made the drink incredibly refreshing. It was lightly sweet with a little fizz, and the dried citrus garnish was a nice touch. The customer service was also great. I had a few questions about the drinks, and they were enthusiastically answered, which I really appreciated. I'm always happy when a coffee shop has interesting options for us non-coffee drinkers, and this one definitely delivered. I'll be back and would absolutely order the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade again.

Ten Thousand is a Korean chain (three spots in Manhattan now, plus outposts in Taipei and LA) and…read moreeveryone comes for the einspanner. I don't drink coffee. So I went in for the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade, which is the drink they should be talking about more. The green tangerine is the Jeju cheonggyul thing, the unripe fruit picked before it sweetens, so you get a sharper, almost yuzu-adjacent bitterness instead of orange juice sweetness. That's the right call against matcha. Grassy tea, tart citrus, light sugar, actual carbonation that hadn't gone flat by the time I got to the bottom. The matcha stayed suspended too, which is harder than it sounds in soda water. Dried citrus wheel on top is a real garnish, not a sad afterthought. Staff were genuinely into it. I asked what grade of matcha they use and how it's built, and got straight answers with zero eye-rolling. Rare at a counter-service spot at 1410 Broadway, where most places are just moving the garment district lunch crowd through. It's eight bucks for a fizzy tea. That's steep, and the room is basically a lobby cafe with very little seating, so this is a grab-and-walk-to-Bryant-Park situation, not a linger. Still, if you're a tea person stuck in a coffee city, this is one of the better cold matcha drinks in Midtown right now. Better balanced than Kijitora's peach fizz, which leans sweet. Order it, skip the seating, don't expect quiet.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
