Cobb salad - subbed blackened salmon. This was an incredible meal!!
    Amy K.

I'm going to be honest, I expected this place to be much more crowded during Happy Hour on a Thursday night. But I was so pleasantly surprised to find a seat at the bar while I was dining by myself. Couple of older folks were there as well either working on a laptop or chatting over some food and a cocktail. The bartender was wonderfully friendly and efficient. They have a broad menu with great prices. Not to mention Happy Hour pricing is really good. I ordered the Cobb Salad and subbed blackened salmon for the chicken. I was not expecting a GIANT salad jam packed with ingredients. This was easily 2 meals. I took this salad to go and they forgot the dressing, but quite frankly it didn't even need any. Drinks were flavorful and well mixed. I got a coffee to go as well (they don't have iced coffee but the amazing bartender made it happen anyway). Great service, wonderful selection on the menu, delicious food and good company. What more could you ask for? I'll happily head back here next time I'm in Cleveland.

In town for a site visit, and "hungry" was an understatement--though let's be real, I was thirsty first. This cute diner setup is tucked inside the historic Halle Building in the Playhouse District and definitely has its charm. I loved how the restaurant spills over into the building's shared seating area--clearly a go-to for employees in the area. I kicked things off with my old faithful: Tito's and cranberry. Then came the Chili with the works--absolutely delightful. I legit wanted to lick the bowl (sorry, no pic today--too busy enjoying). Came back again for the Hot Buffalo Wrap with a side of honey mustard. Solid choice! I honestly didn't want to leave--I was enjoying the sights, the food, and yes, the booze. If you're nearby, do yourself a favor: come in and treat yourself!

Wonderful experience no wonder they are open since 1981. I had both the pancakes and French toast for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Service was awesome and the staff even noticed a mistake in the order before I said anything. If you're in the area, definitely check it out. The coffee was wonderful, they even gave me a to go cup as a parting gift. Definitely go here.

This is Cleveland's VERY BEST place for breakfast! We went there twice in a three-day weekend! Rivor was our waitress and she was part of the reason we went back. We weren't stalking her, but she was our waitress both times! The omelets were delicious. Sized just right and fluffy (I don't use that word often). I had mine with rye toast. Oh and they have blackberry jam! The atmosphere is cool with an old repurposed feel to the place. We enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the service! We'll be back on our next trip to Cleveland, and NO, we're NOT stalking anyone!

Everything right for a weekend brunch--courteous service, many tasty choices, great food, reasonable tab. No wonder it was bustling when we arrived and when we left. My friend and I agreed that we wished this were in Michigan and not downtown Cleveland!!

Top slice was delicious. The bottom slice I swear to god was made with a totally different bread or maybe particle board.

What a wild ride this was. We ate here twice because it was next to our hotel. Both times had highs and lows. For dinner I ordered the hearty Mac and cheese which, as far as I can tell was velveeta Mac and cheese and when it was done, they pulled some croutons from the salad bag and dropped them on top of the Mac and cheese. The croutons make it hearty. I will say the bartender made a great espresso martini from scratch. But to be clear, most of the time the espresso martinis come out of a machine. Lame. The next morning my gf and I both ordered French toast and this part was UNHINGED. we both ordered the same thing at the same time and I swear to god we received two totally different French toasts. Mine was fluffy and delicious. Hers was about as dry as cardboard and just as flavorful as cardboard too. Check out the picture. The fluff yellow slice was mine, the sad gray puck was hers. Your mileage may vary.

Located in the Halle Building in downtown Cleveland, Yours Truly is a great and reliable diner offering up breakfast all day and a variety of diner favorites and classics. Yours Truly is a go-to for me because, yes, it is convenient for me while in town for work, but also because it is really a great options for breakfast lovers. I've tried a variety of their offerings and what I find myself returning to time and time again is an order of their Monster Hash with a side of two over easy eggs. For me it just hits the spot and never disappoints. I also really enjoyed the Notso Omelet and that may find its way into the rotation as well. Service has always been great! Super friendly, more than happy to offer up suggestions if needed but also not overbearing. Whilst they do offer happy hour and a full bar, I've never partaken in said offerings. Short, sweet, and to the point; if you're looking for a great breakfast option while near Playhouse Square in downtown I cannot recommend a stop at Yours Truly enough. In fact, I can guarantee that you'll find me here at least once each time work has me in town...if not more than once while here.

We just went to the one in Beachwood and it was amazing, so when we got up from the hotel located right next door we wanted a repeat but ended up flubbing. At 0730 on a Monday, the armosphere was amazing, there were no people, but were hit with a server more interested in talking to her friends than getting us our drinks, and then the food arrived burned. I could understand a delay if it was packed but there was nobody there. Really dissatisfying.

Fast, friendly, fresh favorites! A nice breakfast and lunch option for anyone downtown or near playhouse square. Stopped for breakfast, wanting the simple egg, meat, toast deal, but they GOT me with the "monster hash". It was a nice addition to my breakfast, and was absolutely what I needed to satiate my hunger! Downtown staple, simple food done right! Come for the convenience, stay for the bright atmosphere, lively staff, people watching and tasty bites!

The food was good with great varieties. We had an exceptional server who did a great job. The restaurant had a lot of room in different floors for added comfort.

We stopped in here for breakfast and just loved the open inside section. They had a great breakfast cocktail menu, a large kids menu and a food menu for everyone. This place was packed and with mostly regulars. The staff was very nice and accommodating, which is always helpful with a little one. Great spot for any meal!

Stopped by this awesome diner for breakfast while in town with my family. Everything was delicious and the service was spot-on! The setting is an older building and everything was clean and cool. I want to come back for lunch or happy hour sometime!

I went here with my family while they were visiting. I was RAVENOUSLY hungry. I informed our server of my dairy allergy and she was very accommodating and most importantly, communicative. I ordered the general tso's chicken with rice, sweet potato fries, and fresh fruit. Service was of high quality, and I scarfed the food down - it was exactly what I needed. The flavors of the rice were savory and herby, and paired well with the sweetness of the chicken and sticky sauce. The sweet potato fries were great too, but anything sweet potato is a hit with me. The sauce that came with it was dairy free, but creamy (I assume some kind of mayo base?), it was great too. The fresh fruit side, was, well, fresh tasting! The strawberries were great. Clean restaurant, slightly preppy but still laid back vibes. Very cute, will be back.

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. We all had something different on the menu and there were no complaints!

I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted.
