Stopped in for breakfast this Sunday morning. Place was hopping, waited for a booth, about 5 minutes. Server was Paul, he was attentive & knowledgeable. Food came out promptly & looked good. We ordered the sunrise toast, which is French toast/eggs & (she ordered crispy bacon), side of toast($2.50 little pricey), came w/halved strawberries also. Bacon was cooked perfectly & French toast was great too. Side of toast was slightly burnt. Sedona omelette w/spinach & red peppers added, was the other meal w/hash browns & an additional 2 eggs (up) w/toast & drink breakfast. The omelette was good & the bacon inside was flavorful. Was a packed omelette, every bite had fixings. The hash browns were crispy but not as hot as they should have been. The 2 eggs up were cooked properly, runny yolks & all, the dry rye toast was little to burnt also. Overall a good experience & we will be back to try other menu items. At first, I thought it was going to be an awful experience as I have not had the best food at this restaurant in the past. However, not only was my food absolutely divine, but my server (RYAN) made it so much better. Not only was he attentive and accommodating, but he was also the most polite and caring server. He consistently made sure that all of our needs were met. If theres any review that says otherwise about Ryan, please trust my review instead. He was a fantastic server, especially with the maturity he displayed at such a young age. I WILL be returning to Solon's YT restaurant due to the amazing service I received. Hair was found in my food. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, Chris, he offered to replace the item, but never offered an apology for serving debris. The waitress "Jazzman"(her spelling not mine) was horrible. Her attitude was rude and curt, her fingers were touching the food on the plate- gross! When I complained about the hair and her attitude to Chris, Jasmine was brazen and came and stood right next to me as I was complaining to the manager. DO NOT go here on a Sunday. We even waited until 12:30 and STILL waited over an hour for our food. I had to actually ask the waitress for some kinda of discount instead of just doing it. Recently ate at Yours Truly-Solon for the first time and was very pleased. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious and plentiful. My party was there for brunch: waffles and sausage got thumbs up, as did the veggie burger with sweet potato fries. (Not sure if you can get sweet potato fries for breakfast...you should definitely ask!) If we needed a quick meal in Solon again, we would pick Yours Truly again. read more

Visiting the Chagrin Falls area and we came in for dinner. Our server Jessica was wonderful, never had to ask for a thing, she anticipated our needs. Food was spectacular! Nothing special. Had a BLT that looked like I could have slapped together at home myself. I like the cottage fries but they were cold when I got them. My mom found a long, hard piece of what looked like a basting brush bristle in her hash browns. The manager? Didn't even come over to apologize or remark upon it when our server showed him. Won't be back. Also? This place is noisy. Why they chose an open concept with it's high ceilings is beyond me. read more

Sat down to have an enjoyable dinner with my dad and got sat down right away in a beautiful environment. Started talking for a little bit and realized that we didn't even get approached for around 20 minutes waiting patiently. 1 server walked past our table and almost like she had tunnel vision she would look straight ahead and ignore our table. Exactly what a breakfast should taste like! This was the first time our family had visited a Yours Truly restaurant and we were extremely pleased with the food and service. The eggs were fresh and perfectly cooked, pancakes were exactly as you'd expect them to be (delicious!), bacon was cooked perfect and tasted perfect, fresh and delicious coffee.... YT is just not the same. Can't recommend the Notso Fries starter. Sounded good but came out a giant cement block of ingredients. Carbonation system not good, Both the Pepsi & Sierra Mist were flat. Took Mom and Dad out for dinner last night for early Father's Day treat at his choice where to eat. The menu has a great variety from Breakfast to Greek and Asian influences for lunch and dinner items. We ordered the Asian Chicken and Veggie Platter, the Rock and Roll Dinner, the General Tso Chicken, and all ordered salad as one of the sides. Overall the food was good with the exception that their Saffron rice is way under seasoned. The salad was good too except their dressings are boring and we used the honey mustard sauce from the fries instead. The reason for 2 stars instead of 5 would be the service. Saw and looked at management several times and they never came over to ask their customers how things were tonight. Our server (Ryan) completely ignored us after ordering and was not helpful during that process either. After about 15 minutes, another waiter brought our food out and asked us about our salads. They never made them. A third waiter brought the salads out. Ryan had NO concern about how things were going, if we were served, or even if dishes needed to be removed after. We had to ask Ryan for more water and even carry out boxes which are basic things that should be tended to by a waiter WITHOUT asking. He was quick about us ordering, but after he was only interested in hanging out and not working. For a place that was NOT busy and being heavily staffed, customers should NEVER have to wait for their salads to come out after the main entrees, ask for water, or ask for anything. You want a tip? Work for it!! The proper way is for the salads to come first and brought by the waiter assigned to the table within 5 minutes then following up with the main entrees and other things that maybe needed throughout the ENTIRE dining experience. What because we did not order alcohol the table is ignored?? Hello, you probably are not old enough to serve it anyway!! In the Solon area, there are many GOOD restaurants and we may not be back to this one since management does not know how to manage. IF we came back, it will not be during the weekend with your LAZY high school employees. Customers should never see all your waiters gathered at the entrance island just hanging out. read more

The Food is Great! Love their breakfast specials, and Artichoke Hearts for lunch. Best breakfast within 30 miles. We had a group of 6 older people, and couldn't talk to anyone more than one person away because the acoustics are poor, and worse if you sit near the kitchen. The group doesn't want to go back. At least it is slightly better than their Chagrin Falls restaurant. That's the price they pay for having huge windows to look out, steel beams, and hard surface tables. Prices are medium to high, around the same as other local restaurants. The manager is excellent. We met him in Chagrin Falls and now he helps open new restaurants. Sundays go early if you don't want to wait a short while. They open very early. This location has a great bar, an excellent location off the freeway, is new, clean, and has plenty of parking. By yourself, you'll love it. With a party of people it will be difficult to talk to others unless they are sitting next to you. read more

I'm really not sure what all the hype is about. Every time we come here we leave dissappointed?!? We have tried to come for the fish & chips several times to try it . Out of luck everytime. For some reason, its only available on Fridays. So then we came in on a Friday, and of course they arent serving it THAT particular friday. Seems yo be a common problem, but why??? Then we tried anothef Fridsy, but they stopped serving F&C at 7:30?! its a very common meal, on a menu that is already very limited to junk. Just make it available for crying out loud! Give ppl some options other than just a dry, overpriced below aversge burger!!!! By time you add on fries and a drink & tax. Ur closing in on a $20 burger!?! I don't get it. Was not at all impressed for that price and have had much better burgers in the area for cheaper! The Bacon on the Bacon Cheeseburger was RAW! How fo you screw up Bacon?!? Complete Amateurs! We ended up dropping over $80 bones for 4 crappy burgers. Not even fresh cut fries!!!! Burgers are probably frozen as well. So, so, so , so good and so happy with it here. The fact that a YT has a take- out window that I can get food from is the nest thing ever. The easiest thing around in my opinion since their food is always great, the service is fantastic, and they are local. We ordered several sandwiches and salads and 20 minutes later, I was at the window, paid, and off I went. Forgot to add that we did also order Notso Fries and fried artichokes because...yummm. Ordered some breakfast on Thursday morning for curbside pick up. We drove up to the window and saw that there were 2 people that just got sat and no one else at the restaurant, waitress walking around and sees us but ignored us. We were confused because no one came to the window for 5 minutes to greet us or give us the status of our order. My husband finally called the restaurant and asked if we are supposed to pull up to the window for curbside pick up and the lady on the phone said yes. As soon as we hung up, the same waitress that's been ignoring us comes to the window and just stares at me and doesn't say anything. So I tell her I'm here for pick up and she replies irritatingly, "well what's the name?" I told her my name and she hands me my order and just closes the window. Not a word, no greeting, no thank you. The worst customer service ever! So that means our food har been ready just sitting by the window and she saw us sitting there waiting to pick up our food but didn't acknowledge us until my husband made the call. She has one job and that is to give good customer service and she failed miserably. She was so disrespectful and rude. Never again. read more

So the food here was actually pretty good till I took a bite of my coleslaw and found a big ole piece of plastic, Darci our waitress was awesome she was very apologetic, she went to the manager who was seem to not give a damn and offered us dessert in replace we didn't take the dessert because I am a diabetic, she simply said ok and walked away.. to come back later and offer dessert again instead of taking just the coleslaw off our bill. My friends and I arrived at the restaurant and were asked if they can start us off with drinks. The waitress gave us our drinks and asked us if we were ready to order. We said no and if she can give us another couple of minutes. The waitress never came back and we had to wait for another 30 minutes just to have our order taken. We called another waitress over and she immediately took our over and it still took a long time just for us to get our food. On Friday 1/29/2021 called the Solon Yours truly restaurant to pick up 2 of their fish fries on our way home. Living in Twinsburg, we normally go to the Hudson Yours truly for take out Friday fish fry. At Hudson, our take out is always right. Our take out meals from Solon was missing Cole Slaw always included with our take out meal from the Hudson Yours truly but none included at the Solon Yours truly. For 2 fish fry dinners we received 1 small tartar sauce container from Solon. I have learned my lesson. Best not to go to the Solon Yours truly for Friday fish fry. Obviously No restaurant employee checks the take out orders before giving it to the customer. No cole slaw & tartar sauce is a small matter but a BIG IRRITANT. We have learned our lesson. We will drive the extra distance to the Hudson Yours truly from now on. At least we get there what we paid for. read more
