Picked up a trio of milk cream, matcha, and creme brulee and they were delightful! They all had a pillowy soft chew that, anecdotally, has been a signature texture of Japanese and Korean baked goods and reminded us of Mahoroba back in Sacramento...one of our all-time favorite bakeries. There was absolutely no shortage of creamy filling and the matcha's flavors made it my favorite of the three. Definitely will return to try the rest! read more

This place is located inside "The source: OC" on Beach Boulevard, on the third level, inside the food court area. Currently, walking up to this place and placing an order is easy as can be. When the secret gets out on this little gem, man oh man, the lines are gonna be OUT THE DOOR! I brought my children here with me to try a donut....my oh my! These are delicious! The fluffed cream they use to stuff their donuts is to die for! We all agreed that our favorite was the banana cream, followed by the milk cream and strawberry cream. The banana cream had a rich banana flavor! Of the non-cream filled versions, I absolutely LOVED the Coconut cream donut. It was like eating a donut, stuffed with a coconut cream pie inside! The only bummer for me: they were all out of the Nutella Cream donuts (which is what we came for). I don't know if there was a language barrier during my visit, but I was told I HAD to buy four donuts or single donuts. Like, I couldn't just order three single ones, I HAD to order a four pack? I'm sure that's not right, but that's what one of the employees told me when I placed my order. I mean, no worries, I didn't mind having to buy a fourth, but I thought that was weird. saw this place on Instagram and it's a little overhyped. thr donuts aren't as filled as you see on social media imo and some of them don't look like the pictures at all. the line is quick but because it's located inside a mall food court, it's always busy and noisy around. they have a ton of other pastries and baked goods but I didn't get to try any. the donut flavors are pretty unique and spot on. the red bean and strawberry ones were our faves. read more

We ran into this cute place in The Source and tried the Kaya Butter Coconut and Banana Milk Cream donuts. They were super fluffy, not too sweet, and not too heavy either. Once we got there the girl working there was really serious. I felt bad. Maybe a bad shift? A smile would've been nice at least. My girlfriend and I got: 1. Strawberry Milk Cream 2. Banana Milk Cream 3. Jeju Matcha 4. Peach I rate them exactly how I listed 1- the best and 4- worst. THE PEACH might be good if you like peach jam or something similar. I have never had and it was def worth a try, but I wouldn't get it again. THE MATCHA was a letdown. I thought it would be good but I had low expectations and my gut was right. On the first bite, after a couple munches, I couldn't taste the matcha,... THEN BOOM bitterness. My girlfriend said the aftertaste felt as if she bit into BEEF- WTF I laughed my ass off. As I was cutting the Banana donut my girlfriend gets a small lick of the cream and goes and I looked at her like . Once I finished cutting the piece we were gonna eat, I licked the knife and was the right reaction. It was STRONG, really really strong flavor. It was sweet but not enough to kill you and my girlfriend usually does not like banana like that, but she did for this one. THATS HOW YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD! THE STRAWBERRY was my ultimate favorite. I had high hopes for this one and I'm glad I was right because after having beef our mouths, it was a good way to end the night. The strawberry slices were VERY thin, but the cream tasted like strawberry ice cream and with the donut MM MM MM. BOMB. That's why I rated it #1 from the 4 we got. There was also a buy 3 get 1 free when we went. Parking was free at THE SOURCE parking lot. It was me and my girlfriend's first time there so we got really lost looking for the location, but eventually found it on the 3rd floor inside the food court. read more

Finally got to go here. First let me say that this place is in The Source mall and it's located on the 3rd floor in the Food Court. Donuts are light and fluffy and taste amazing. They are not like the heavy Dunkin Donut, grocery store donut types. Since it's a food court, there is seating inside and outside as well. They also have super cute packaged goodies to purchase as well as their donut items. Service was great! read more

Really delicious. The quick service and neat appearance of the shop really drew me in before I saw their famous doughnuts. They look intimidating with all that cream, but is surprisingly not as sweet as it looks! The milky cream paired well with the softness of the doughnut. We tried matcha brûlée, original, and the purple potato. My fav is the original so far. I'd definitely come back to have the other flavors when I'm in the area. read more

My interest was piqued when I came across this business on Instagram as I'd seen never anything like it before. Came here around 11am on a Saturday since I heard flavors can run out later in the day and luckily they still had good stock of flavors. The cashier said they're good for two days so I ended up buying a box of 4. We ate 2 (the original and the strawberry) after checking out and the taste was so fresh. Not too sweet and the cream had a good texture that was balanced out by the crispy texture of the dough and the fresh sliced strawberries. The cream isn't as light compared to how a lot of creamy Asian desserts might be, but it's not too overwhelming. I think the texture they achieved is just right. We ate the other two a couple days later and the texture was not the same, so I would definitely recommend consuming fresh. I will come back to try other flavors next time I'm in OC. read more

Visited 5/18: Went around past 7pm today with a friend. Only 2 flavors of the cream donuts were left, and just to be sure, my friend ask if that's all they had. Employee confidently says yes to her, which was totally fine, and we made our purchase. Right as she taps her card to the screen, the employee places a completely fresh tray of a different flavor into the rack. We notice this, a little put off as to why she didn't point out the different flavor before we purchased, and ask (normally, without attitude) to quickly make another purchase for one. I don't know what this employee's deal was, but she was seriously so annoyed that we asked for this. She rudely adds that it's a $5 minimum for cards. My friend was super excited to try these donuts out since it was her first time visiting, and was a little bummed out that she couldn't buy it since she didn't carry cash. So, I decided to buy one myself on top of it so she could meet the credit card minimum. I thought this would relieve the (unnecessary) tension because it was such an easy solution, but the worker just looked even more upset that I decided to make a purchase. I notice this but decided to ignore her attitude, and also asked if she could package it separately since I only got one donut and my friend purchased three; it would've been more convenient to just separate mine -- common sense, right? Well, apparently this was also an issue and the worker, very annoyed, asked if I "wanted it in a bag, or what?" I said that was fine and she laughs (?????) at me for some reason and gives us our things. I want to note that we were not rude in any capacity and asked for the extra donut kindly. We left in a bad mood because she was acting mean for literally no reason. Donuts were delicious, but the employees could be less miserable. read more

Slim pickings when you visit in the evening at 6pm. All that was left was a few pastries and a handful of donuts. I got a Madeleine (it was "okay" per my husband) and a Nutella Donut, which was also just okay. The donut part itself was standard fried bread coated with powdered sugar, and the Nutella filling is a Nutella-flavored whipped cream, being that it was so light and fluffy (I was hoping for a more rich filling like how Nutella is). Nothing mind-blowing, I was pretty disappointed at the standard taste. I've been seeing videos of Yozm and it was a little overhyped. Saw this on tik tok and wanted to try! Looked forward to it for awhile! We bought 4 donuts. Strawberry cream, banana cream, crème brûlée, and peach filled. The fillings were good in all the donuts accept the banana one to me. The banana cream tasted too artificial. The donut itself was stale. Not pillowy unfortunately. I seen several videos on Social Media, giving wonderful reviews on this place. So, I decided to give it a try. They had an Easter Special, buy 4 donuts get 2 donuts free. Cool. I tried the "Blueberry Cream Donut","Creme Brulee", "Nutela" and "Strawberry Cream". Not, what I expected. The donuts were dry, over fried, the creme had no flavor. Sorry, believe me there are better Donuts out in the OC, or just around that same shopping center. Would I go back or recommended this place? NO!! over price and the donuts are not good. Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. Other bakeries usually provide paper plates, so it was disappointing as well.

To make things worse, the service was far from professional. The lady with glasses came across as cold and uninterested. She just made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, this was a very unpleasant visit. There are plenty of better places nearby that offer better food, better service, and better value. I definitely won't be coming back. When we pulled up, first thing we noticed was a line going out the door (for context, there was only a few families in line ahead of us). Very good sign. Typical SoCal donut shop vibe. What stood out was the size of their raised donuts and croissants. Their twists were massive compared to most donut shops. Then there's the croissants, they had to be the size of my head, and I wear a size 8 hat if that gives you any indication. I should have snapped some pictures of the display. But I think I have my go to. The workers were friendly and it seemed to be a family run shop as they all are.

Too greasy, weird aftertastes, terrible terrible heartburn and upset stomach after... And with these, I didn't experience any of that(a little burpy after, but I mean, it's donuts... LOL) We only tried 3 different donuts, but they were all so bomb. The churro donut was my favorite. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just like a real churro, but didn't get soggy. The Nutella Malasada was full of Nutella and it was actually my first time trying a malasada... bomb! The cookies and creme mochi was a nice surprise too. The cream was actually very flavorful and not just like a plain creme with Oreos thrown in like I've often seen. I'm sure all of the donuts would be really good here. I will definitely make a trek here again one of these days.

None of the donuts tasted fresh, I am sure they were made hours before we bought them. Churro was super hard and stale, salted caramel literally tasted like nothing, blueberry tasted like sweet artificial fruit, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was the best one. If I lived nearby, I might get that one again, but this is not a place to go out of the way and try.

There are always people inside but not crazy busy, and the little line moves quickly. They have a few small tables inside if you want to enjoy your food there. They have the freshest, chewiest donuts. Seriously so good. I've haven't tried anything other than the donuts, but their coffee and other breakfast items seem to be ordered just as frequently. The service is awesome too. I've been helped by the younger guy both times and he is so nice and patient. I try to get a good assortment and he'd make suggestions to complete the dozen. Everyone who tried one kept commenting on how good the donuts were. Prices are reasonable as well. They accept card too, which is such a plus since donuts tend to be a cash business. My visit to Yozm Donuts today was disappointing. I ordered a strawberry cream donut, priced at nearly $6. The guy who was working there told me there was a minimum for card payments and I had to use cash. When I asked for a cup of water, the response was a flat "No," with the alternative being an overpriced bottle of water. As I was purchasing the bottled water, I asked for an empty cup, and he said it was an additional 25 cents. I paid $2.25 for water and an empty plastic cup. The server's robotic and unfriendly demeanor made me feel unwelcome. Overall, the poor service overshadowed any enjoyment of the donut. I won't be returning to Yozm Donuts. read more
