You would think a company that sells You'd think a company selling high-priced bikes would offer top-tier customer service but with YT, that couldn't be further from the truth. I purchased a Jeffsy Core 2 just a couple of weeks ago, and while waiting for delivery, the price dropped by $1,000. Naturally, I reached out right away to ask if they would honor the new price or allow me to return and repurchase at the lower price. No one answered. Their phone line is essentially useless it only plays an automated message saying they're too busy, which makes it feel like a fake number. I emailed customer service twice, filled out their online form, and it's been over a week with zero response. Meanwhile, the price has since gone back up, which makes me think someone did see my messages and chose to ignore them. This bike was meant to be a gift for my husband, and I'm beyond disappointed not just with the situation, but with the complete lack of communication. At this point, we don't even want the bike anymore. I'm currently waiting for return instructions so I can send it back. I run an online business myself, and I would never let a customer wait more than 48 hours without a reply. If you're considering investing in a quality bike and expect actual customer service, do yourself a favor look elsewhere. Love my Decoy but Im concerned that there is a design flaw that brought my attention to a safety concern that might cause serious injury. Spoke with a tech in YT and he feels like it's not a concern or a designed flaw. You may want to consider this issue b4 you purchase YT. Bottom linkage mount may crack due to some debris may wedge on the suspension linkage. See pictures below. read more

Horrible customer service. Only one color in "stock" and it's taken them 5 months and there is always a new reason why my bike is being delayed. I would not recommend YT to anyone even if they get the bike for free... I will be taking my money to specialized as they have great reviews and customer support. Let alone they can work on the bikes much quicker and more efficiently. I think YT is a bunch of knuckleheads working behind the counter and don't have their things in order. Horrible customer service!!! I ordered two bikes. I didn't realize one wasn't going to be shipped right away. Called and cancelled on bike and upgraded the second. The second bike got delivered to my house and the first ways delayed over a month. Took the second bike to YT mill in Bentonville, AR to have both bikes built at the same time spent 7-8 weeks following up with zero response. 6 emails and multiple calls. Final get a call that first bike is ready after 40 mins I'm told they sent the other bike back as a return and I had already been reimbursed. When I explained I had not. I eventually told them to cancel both bikes am reimburse all my mom. A couple of days later I got partially refunded and still no return emails or calls. If you call Bentonville Mill you get told they aren't customer service and to send an email. read more

Before summer YT would answer phone calls, Now they have blocked all phone communications sending you to greeting that hangs up on you. That messages their customers to go to the contact web page but they NEVER respond to the the requests. I've created contact requests on that page more that few times. THEY NEVER FREAKING RESPONDED. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced on a product that cost so much (Over 4k). They shipped me a bike with a warped brake rotor (so bad it needed to be replaced, and a broken seat clamp) I have spent my own money at the local bike shop trying to get a ridable bike that YT should have warrantied. I will never put myself through this shit with YT again. I will never buy one of their bikes ever again. If you value your time and money you will not either! read more

My motor on my decoy failed on 5/5 and took it to YT Mill San Clemente right away , they filed warranty with Shimano the next day and got approved 2 days later. long story short, new motor came in about 5 days later and the workshop crew swapped the new motor for me in 1 day !!! super shout out to the customer service team and the workshop crew !! I got my bike back in 12 days since the day I dropped off and I am now back on the trail shredding !!! YT is awesome !! not only they offer affordable and reasonable pricing and they have the BEST customer service EVER !!!!!!! Thats why we only ride YT bikes now and will continue to buy more from YT ! The staff is cool and knowledgeable. The showroom is awesome, and they are located right on some of my favorite SoCal MTB trails. And if that's not enough, they have water, soda, and beer on tap. I've had the bike out in the dirt a few times now and it rides great, rolls over everything and fits me perfectly, ensuring comfort on long trail rides. Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Do not buy a YT unless you want to spend months fighting with them about a warranty issue. I bought the Decoy Core 4 in June of 2024. Within the first few rides the fork stopped returning from the bottom of the travel. I started a warranty claim and agreed to bring it to the San Clemente Mill for service. The Mill is about an hour and fifteen minute drive from where I live. After weeks in the shop, I was finally told it was ready (when I called them to check the status). Within ten minutes of my first ride, the fork had the same issue. I took it back into the shop and left it for repair again. I picked it up the second time after repair and again, within ten minutes of my first ride, the fork got stuck in the bottom of its travel. I took it back to the Mill a third time. After almost a month, they called and said it was repaired and ready for pick up. This time I was able to get in four rides before the fork got stuck in the bottom of its travel again. At this point, I was pretty upset. I had driven almost 600 miles to the Mill and back and wasted a ton of my time. The fork failed the same way after four separate repairs. I reached out to the person in the warranty department I had been working with and asked them for a different solution to my problem as it was obvious to me that it would be impossible to fix this fork, and I was now concerned with my safety. I suggested replacing the suspension to a different brand, an upgrade to the Core 5 for my troubles, or a complete refund. None of those options were acceptable to them. I was only offered another repair if I drove all the way up to the Mill again. I asked to speak to their manager and the most they offered me was a new fork from the same manufacturer. After two more weeks, I reached out to the warranty department again. This time I was told that the fork was on backorder from the manufacturer, and it would be better if I reached out to them myself. This bike has been broken since day seven. Almost three months later, and I'm still trying to get it fixed. YTs unwillingness to do anything but the bare minimum to resolve this issue is beyond me. read more

Whoooo! I ordered a Jeffsy 29 Pro about 2 months ago, and with the pandemic I expected a lengthy wait. The website estimated a September 7th ship date. I was just fine with that, paid my bill, and sat back with anticipation. I decided to call last week just to ask if that time frame was still looking good. I spoke to a rep. named Sean. He said it looked pretty good, and that he'd say at least 95% I will have the bike shortly after that. Well, old Sean must have pulled a fast one. I got an email later that day or next, indicating that my bike had shipped. I couldn't believe it. The bike arrived today and it is smoooooooth. Almost as smooth as that move by Sean. I agree with all the negative posts about YT bikes. March 2022 USA. Problem # 1 - I received my 2021 YT Decoy, Core 4, two weeks ago with the first problem being they shipped the bike to AZ when I live in NV. After multiple phone calls and emails, they finally shipped the bike to the correct address but only after I proved to them that my order showed the correct address. Problem # 2 - After building the bike and charging the battery, It wouldn't power on at all, so I had to start multiple emails and phone calls to finally get someone to walk me through trying to find the problem after an hour of troubleshooting It ended up being the head unit was disconnect up in the frame. Problem # 3 - The derailleur was way out of adjustment so after hours on the phone with tech support and them telling me I put the derailleur on wrong it still wouldn't shift right so I decided to take it to my local bike shop. Due to the bike shop being so busy it took them a week before they could get to it but in the end, they said it was way out of adjustment but it should be correct now. Problem # 4. Finally, I was able to go on my first ride. Right away I noticed the motor was nothing like my BOSH CX on my other bike. The motor felt like it wasn't giving much boost and it was cutting off early. I kept ridding thinking it was in my head as I was tired from a long ride on my other bike the day before. After riding for a short time I just wasn't having fun so I decided to go back. Once I got back I compared the YT to my bike with the BOSH motor and there was a huge difference. I noticed the YT motor wasn't assisting at all above 16 mph. I figured it was a software problem so I called YT but they didn't have an answer for me so I started doing some research and found out this bike was set to European standards, not US standards, so now I am having to prove to YT that it's the original motor and that I haven't done anything wrong. The worst part about it is after I fixed the other problems, I figured the bike was good so I threw the box away and rode the bike now they won't let me return it as the bike can't be ridden and it needs to be shipped back in the original box. They are telling me it's now a warranty claim issue. Do yourself a favor find another E-bike to buy there are a lot of great ones out there for around the same price. read more

Bought a 2020 Capra secondhand awhile back. Found a crack in their rear triangle. No problem I thought, just get it replaced. Brought it to their Mill and was told they wouldn't even look at it as I need to deal with customer service. Fine. Figured I could request a new rear triangle and get it serviced at their shop. Called and was told they can't do anything over the phone only email. Fantastic. Emailed them and was told secondhand owners do not qualify for crash replacement and they do not provide replacement frame parts. So now I am left with a broken bike I can't fix. They will not sell the rear triangle and will not service my bike. Their customer service will not do anything for secondhand owners. Don't expect any help if you buy a YT secondhand. Lesson learned. read more

Super bitchen place to go buy a bike. IPA on tap, Red Bull's to drink and sick bikes everywhere. The have a lounge area to watch RedBull rampage and kick back on the couch. They had my bike ready in minutes and helped me carry the box to my truck. Excellent service. I got the Decoy pro and it assembled easily and everything worked as it's supposed to. Have ridden it 3 times and can't wait to keep riding it. High end parts and quality frame made this purchase a no brained. read more
