Excellent therapists. Very relaxing setup. They were very flexible with our large party that called with very short notice.

Caution. Total bait and switch. They have $39.00 "deal" literally plastered all over the store so I asked for that. And, when it came time to pay they told me it was going to be $55.00 (+ $2.00 Credit Card fee) because they used oil (which I never even requested). The store owner knew exactly what she was doing. After we discussed it, the owner stuck with the $55.00 ask. So I paid it (and included no tip). Shady business practice. I don't recommend this place. As for the massage, I'd give it a 1/5. I don't believe their therapists are certified...or maybe she was just having an off day. Haphazard/random technique, not consistent. And draping technique was unprofessional. Therapist touched my gentiles on several occasion. She had done that many times before, you could just tell. IMO, they would definitely offer "more" if that's what you were after. read more

Here's the problem this establishment is a "happy ending establishment". I don't like being forced to give my personal information into their computer system with full name, cell phone number, city of residence. They say it's because they will be sending discounts, etc... I have not received a single thing, but don't like my name on any lists that has nothing to do with getting a simple massage. This was a worst massage ever, very poor customer service. I left more stress and tense than I did when I came in. The massage therapist kept on talking to each other Throughout our whole session they walking in and out of the room. We were promised to full body massage and facial.Yet they only massaged are back. The facial was horrendous. The lights were left on the whole time and after everything was done they still got a knock on our door twice. Telling us we had to leave because they had other customers. Like what And even though we paid them in full, they bolts stood there. Waiting to see if we would give them a tip..... Please do not go to this massage place. I visited Yu Spa and asked for a Combo foot massage priced $50. My therapist used oil during the massage. She didn't ask me if I wanted oil. 50 minutes into my hour massage another woman comes into the room to tell me that my massage will cost $60 because the $50 combo doesn't include oil. I told her I didn't ask for it and she said "sorry your therapist is new" I was furious. No reputable business asks a customer to cover the cost of an employee's mistake. Yu Spa is dishonest, and the massage was mediocre at best. I wound up paying $60, as I always leave a 20% tip. If they insisted on getting paid $60, they can take it out of the therapists tip. I will not go back and don't recommend any one else go there. read more

I have been here a number of times and have found the service sporadic at best. One time I get a great massage and look forward to the next time with anticipation only to be disappointed. I attribute this to a large turnover in staff and an obvious lack of training. I really think that very few if any of the staff are certified. Avoid this place. The male masseuse is very inappropriate. While massaging my legs/buttocks he went far into inner buttock area. He then pulled down the sheet where my whole bottom was showing. Then he completely took off the sheet altogether. I was laying there naked. I asked him to put it back on and he said he didn't understand and got google translate. I spoke into google translate please put the sheet over my body. Then he got a towel and wrapped it over my head. I wanted to get up and leave but was naked and had nothing to cover up in. He still didn't understand and used google translate again. Finally the third time he put the sheet back on me. At this point I was very upset. Not professional. Shady business on multiple levels. Beware. We walked in and requested the $39 combo massage. From there what followed was a series of unacceptable business practices: 1. they didn't honor our request for separate rooms, telling us it was "easier" to do the massage together, which was crowded and distracting, 2. They did not drape me properly throughout, 3. I requested the therapist not to touch my injured toe and she mixed up the feet when I turned over, causing pain, 4. The worst part was the end when they charged us $55 for a full body massage. We politely argued for about 10 minutes and ended up paying $50 after she finally agreed to give us a $5 "discount." The Dixie cup of water at the end was just an insult. On the upside, the massage was deep--albeit painful at times. Bottom line: an inappropriate and unprofessional establishment that should be avoided. read more

Amanda is friendly, professional and makes you feel at home immediately. The place is usually busy so I'm not always able to book her, but the other massage therapists are more than qualified. A few months back, Amanda gave the Spa a makeover, and you would be doing yourself a disservice by not paying them a visit and spending an hour or two with Amanda. I had a 90 min appointment this morning with Angel, "Best Massage I ever had and I've had hundreds over the past 20 years!" I highly recommend her! I had a neck injury and suffer from chronic pain. She is very professional and a very nice lady with a beatiful soul! She knows how to apply the right amount of pressure and had a very unique massage technique! She knows how to find and take out the knots which is the root cause of my pain. I've probably had over 200 massage therapists over the years because of my chronic pain, Angel is diffently one of the best! Theres nothing worse then putting out money for a massage that didn't help! In this case I got my money's worth and then some! I should of given her a bigger tip! I've had other massage therapist there to and they are very good also! Very clean and safe environment, they take the Virus seriously, the therapist wear mask and keep the place really clean! This was hands down the worst experience my friends and I have ever had. This place is so unprofessional and inappropriate. After they took me back they strongly encouraged my daughter to go with the man to get her massage. He was so inappropriate- did not keep her covered, he was rubbing her bare butt, telling my daughter to 'boss him around' , touched her in sexual ways. My daughter is 21 but she looks young- she said she thought about telling him she was a minor so he would stop. She ended up leaving the room in tears. My massage wasn't much better- the woman had my blanket off me the whole time- I felt molested. After we got in the car we realized that all 5 of us had the same experience. That evening my daughters fiancé and my son ( my daughter-in-law was there as well) they went in and asked for them to refund our money, otherwise they were going to pursue it legally. That night the women were very nervous and begged them not to call the police and said 'money no problem'...however they did not refund our money. So my friends husband and I went in last night and still they will not refund our money. So, my daughter and her fiancé have contacted an attorney and this morning we are going to the Palm Desert police department to press charges. Stay far away from this place and trust your gut. I have been to this spa for massage several times over the past two years. My service has always been exceptional. The manager has upgraded the facility frequently since I first went there. It is very relaxing decor and music. I have received all but one massage with Amanda, the manager. I enjoy her style, which is firm longer strokes, good pressure and tempo. I have always been able to communicate my massage needs as her English is good, although not her native language. Hot stones are a nice added touch. Draping has been professional and I have been comfortable. The prices are super reasonable and her massage is far superior to the $120+ massages I have received on cruise ships and luxury spas. read more
