Now I believe you get what you pay for - I think ever single sushi roll is under $10 (yes, even the ones that would be priced close to $20 at the upscale restaurants). We came here via recommendation from a friend who loves how affordable it is. I drive by this place all the time and was just thrown off by the exterior name front 'Roll and Pho.' Yes, those are both Asian dishes but in no way do they compliment or go together. We were very surprised to receive a Korean welcome as soon as we walked into the restaurant. I agree with the reviews regarding service. They are quick to take your order, give you your food and get the check. Everything else in between such as refills or any other requests will require you waving down a server. Menu consisted of all types of sushi rolls and other Japanese staples. They also had a small selection of Pho that I found pretty funny since it looked like it was added in there like an after thought. Prices as previously mentioned are super affordable, around $6-7 for most specialty rolls. My friends got a couple of the specialty rolls and I opted for the Chirashi lunch special that came with miso soup and salad. The ginger dressing here is really good and the miso soup was super tasty. My Chirashi bowl was good, although lacking in the veggies department. It came with nice, thick slices of sashimi and rice was seasoned with the seaweed/sesame seeds/addictive crack seasoning concoction you find at most Korean stores. The quality of fish was impressive. My friends all commented on how thinly sliced the fish was on the sushi rolls, which made sense given the price. They thought it was good but not blown away. The tuna tartar we got was actually really good but just a tad sweeter than I expected. Loved the thick cubes of avocado and how creamy the dish was. Wakame Seaweed Salad as an appetizer: it was tasty and okay. 2. Double Double Roll (tuna and salmon with imitation crab and avocado inside) 3. Baked Salmon Roll 4. Volcano Roll I have to say, you pay for what you get. Quality wasn't the best at all. The fish on the Double Double Roll was super thinly sliced to top the sushi. Same goes for the Baked Salmon-- barely any fish. What you did have was LOTS of imitation crab. Volcano Roll was tasty, but not worth it. Scallops were small itty balls and LOTS of imitation crab. This place definitely has cheap sushi. As for the quality, it was average. It wasn't anything super bad nor super good. I would say this is a "true" 3 out of 5 star restaurant. The service was decent. The employees were attentive to the right degree. The restaurant is in a corner of a small strip. It's kind of dark so be on the look out for the Roll & Sushi sign. Parking was available, but I can't imagine if I had visited this place during the busier hours because with any small shopping strip, parking can become a major issue.
