During the appointment, the experience itself was uncomfortable. Chemicals were dripping onto my face, leaving stains on my forehead, and when my hair was washed, the water was cold and splashed everywhere. A few days later, after washing and styling my hair the way I normally do, I noticed how off the balayage looked. My roots already appeared very grown out--almost halfway down my head. I understand balayage is meant to grow out naturally, but this looked like it had been done months ago when it had only been a week. Even my family commented that it looked grown out. I called the salon to see if they could fix the top portion, and I was told my stylist, Angel, would call me back--but I never heard from her. Overall, I'm really disappointed. Not only was the service expensive, but the results didn't meet expectations, and there was no follow-up or effort to make it right.

Been going to Heidi since the beginning of time! She started at the original Yuko Beverly Hills and I discovered her in 2000. I have long, thick, curly hair and this amazing lady gets all the curls out and makes my hair smooth, straight and gorgeous! I see her every 5 to 6 months. Depending on your hair quantity, length, if you're doing a touch up or starting for the first time, appointments can take between 2.5 hours to about 5. Yes, it can be long, but worth it because it takes over an hour at a salon each time to get a blow out without the process. I shower and my hair is still straight up to my touch up appointment. It looks flat right after the process, but I get my volume back two days later when I wash it out. She is very reasonably priced. Starts at $350 which is amazing because I was paying over $600 for touch ups in the Beverly Hills salon. This salon is not fancy by any means, but bring your Ipad and connect to the free wifi to help pass time. I usually bring some snacks with me since my appointments are usually around 4 hours long because I have very thick, long hair. read more
