Monfongo, bifongo, trifongo . . . Since it was our first time in, we tried a lot of different items. The Monfongo with chicharones de pollo was excellent. The pastillilo de carne was good. The papas locas (with carne) was really good. It was so big, we couldn't finish it. We ordered it for an appetizer but it really could be an entree. The arroz con gondules was good. It could have had a little more flavor, but it was fine. I ordered a side of the trifongo since only the monfongo came with the entrees. I really liked their trifongo. Hubby got the pina colada frappe and it was very good, very fresh. Definitely a good place to visit. Street parking. Service was a little scattered and it took a lot longer for our food than expected. Lots of families and lots of people taking out, in addition to almost packed tables. Go, enjoy the Boricua food and feel like you're on an island. :)

The chicken was pretty good. I think everything would've been better either in the store or just hotter. (The fries weren't warm). We will definitely be trying this place again.

2026 Review - This place is nice! We went there last Wednesday to play trivia and they didn't have…read moreit...but guess what they did have (Spongebob Voice)? PENGUINS VS. FLYERS ON EVERY SCREEN!!! When I say every screen, I think they have about 30 televisions surround the entire interior of the building as well as what looks like how Hockey games have the scoreboard around the center, that's how it is their with the televisions. Trivia is every Wednesday at 7PM. It's a pretty good time honestly. There's a guy named Juan that runs it. He has good style, he is a classy individual and a very intelligent man. Do not use your cell phone or he will exclude you from the game. His rules, not mine... understandably some of the questions are hard but it is what it is. As for the food, it's amazing no matter what I get. From the Loaded Nachos to the Reuben to the Mozzarella Sticks, PB Burger, Fried Pickle Spears, and their Brownie Sundaes... Simply amazing! Every bite makes you want another. The waitresses their are attentive, communicative, responsive, they have jokes and are very polite and respectful. It's a place you can take your Mother.

A few in my group got food and had nothing but positive reviews. Awesome drink menu. Plenty of draft beers to pick from. Happy hour daily. Service was excellent. Very patient and helpful! We came in on a Monday and got seated immediately. Would definitely come back. Good spot overall! Your typical sports bar but classier!

Decent little Mexican place in the Allison Hill section of Harrisburg. It is located on Derry…read moreStreet in a blue & red building with two satellite dishes (see exterior photo). The restaurant itself had a few tables, a frozen ice cream box, video chance games, a huge rack of phone cards and several pictures decorating the walls. Most of the pictures depicted scenes from mexico, such as poncho villa, zapata, rural life, cows, etc... one of the walls was covered in mirrors and had a sombrero hanging on it. They have standard tacos at 2.50 apiece, chicken, beef or pork. We tried several of them. There was also a Torta for 8.50 that was pretty decent. There was some type of hot sauce (Valentina brand) here that that we put on it made it significantly better. The helado de fresa or strawberry ice cream ($1.50) balanced it out. We also had the Bistek Ranchero: it came with 6 yellow corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, beans, rice & lots of beef, mixed with red pepper. That cost 14.00 pretty decent if you ask me. What makes this place stand out in my opinion is the " tostada ceviche de camaron " or lime marinaded seafood salad on a deep fried corn tortilla. This item is occasionally also available at competitors but not nearly as good. 5 Stars, incredible food!

That being said, I went today and got four tacos, two adobada and two carnitas, and when I tell you the tacos were delicious, that's no joke. The crab cakes were greasy. The wrap was boring. The omelet was ok. By the time you add a drink it's about $15-20 a person. All of the entrees felt $2 more than the value for the quality. The sides $1 more that the value for the quality. A basic cheeseburger is over $9 and it's $3 more for lettuce, tomato, onion, and fries. So you're at $12 for a boring improperly cooked burger. Add $3 for a drink and there's your $15. A basic grilled cheese is $5.50 with a pickle and a few chips. For the same price, I would choose a fast-food place. Service was slow and lots of mistakes were made. I'll chalk that up to it being newly open. There was a heavy mildew smell when we walked in. Hopefully that's dissipated. The breakfast foods on the tables looked better than the non-breakfast foods. I'd probably try it again for breakfast. The place has potential. But I wasn't impressed when I went.
